Dropped by here to get some coffee, but ended up getting a sandwich instead. There were a variety of pastries and loafs of different breads here which were freshly made. Would have been nice to try out the breads if I were a local, but I'm not. So yeah, I grabbed a sandwich to eat and it was fine. Satisfied my hunger. I got the honey ham sandwich. Came with your expected fixings like lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and mayo. Their giant cookies looked really good, but I needed to control my sugar consumption. I would've definitely gotten their chocolate chip cookie if it weren't for that. If I ever swing by again, I'll definitely get a cookie or some pastries. They look very good!

They make one of my favorite cookies, the ginger cookie. (I do wish that they didn't sprinkle the sugar in top though). It's a huge a piece, so good, and very reasonable price. I love it. I love all their bread too, so soft and smells so good. I've been coming here since I was a kid and the memories of getting the free bread samples with a hunk of butter will always bring a smile to my face. (I don't think they do that butter anymore.) This place is is underrated. It consistently draws a nice crowd. I am so happy this place is doing so well and keeping the prices affordable.

Stopped by Great Harvest Bread Company this morning for some breakfast since it was close by the hotel I was staying at. They have a variety of different breads here - not just fresh baked breads like rye or whole wheat, but also bread with berries or cheese baked in. Given that I'm only in town for a few days, I'd definitely buy a couple loaves to try if I was here longer. MARIONBERRY SCONE - 3.25 These were pretty big and it looked freshly baked. You can get the marionberry scone with white chocolate chips but I was pretty excited to try it with just the marionberry since Oregon is known for them. Overall, it was very buttery and tasty but slightly dry. I like that the marionberry were whole pieces. I'd recommend giving the scones a try. If you are able to eat half a dozen, it's only $16.25! I'd wanna give their breads a try if I visit again. They're also known for their Sunrise Rolls, which is more of a savory option with ham, cheese, and other delicious toppings.

We stopped the GHBC after a quick stop at the Nordstrom Rack. You probably know the kind of appetite you can work up after shopping. Well GHBC doesn't disappoint. They had some of the best bread west of the Mississippi. We tried a couple of their sandwiches. I at the tuna sandwich was one of the best I'd tried. The time was fresh and it was full of veggies. What really makes their sandwiches amazing is the bread. The bread is the secret. If your shopping in the Clackamas area do yourself a favor stop and grab lunch at the GHBC. Bonus the give yo is free slice of their bread to try.

This is the best smelling place on earth!!! I love that they give free samples and have a buy one get one free rack for thrifty people like me. My new favorite place in Oregon!

So many choices, even during Covid! They are still baking several different types of bread daily, the smell of fresh bread so intoxicating. At this location they also make at least a dozen treats daily such as their famous large cookies - chocolate chip, snickerdoodles or ginger. On display and very enticing are the cinnamon bursts (which is a big slab of bread pudding), brownie bars, scones (get the Marionberry), muffins, the Kahuna bars looked divine; they appear to be like the 7 layer cookies my grandmother used to make with coconut, chocolate, biputterscotch, sweetened condensed milk over Graham cracker crust. If you are hungry walking in, it will be quite the challenging to resist! Since I'm not a fast food person, when I'm out and about and hungry I'd rather get a freshly made sandwich and they have several options. You can choose from their different bread varieties and the fillings are plentiful and unique. I went with the Chipotle Turkey and was not disappointed. In addition to fresh Turkey, the sandwich had shredded cabbage, pickled red onion and pepper jack cheese with a chipotle-honey-lime yogurt dressing giving it a nice kick! Bought a bag of premixed cinnamon scones to bake at home. It contains everything you need to make 8 scones, just add butter, egg and water. They also sell bags of Clackamas Crunch and Mt. Hood Granola, a good marketing idea! Super friendly service; they even offer samples of their breads. I tried the seasonal eggnog cake that was similar to a butter pound cake. Very good. Tables outside available for those wanting to eat there. The store had a lot of traffic while I was there at almost 4pm so obviously people enjoy their food. Every time I'm at this mall there are people sitting outside having a sandwich or treat. There seemed to be a lot of regulars as the cashiers greeted many by name. After all these years of shopping at Clackamas Promenade, I'm glad I stopped in. Will define back.

Five Stars Romance Served by the Slice…read more Tucked inside Clackamas Town Center sits Tous les Jours, and I'll be honest I didn't give it the respect it deserved the first time around. I rushed a review, checked in, moved on. That was a mistake. This place isn't just a bakery it's a quiet little weapon in your romance arsenal. You walk in and you're hit with that warm, sweet scent of fresh bread and cream, the kind that makes you slow down whether you planned to or not. Now here's the move: don't overthink it. You don't need to walk out with a whole cake (though you absolutely can). Grab a single slice chocolate, fruit, cream-filled, whatever catches your eye and bring it home like it actually means something. Because it does. Small gestures hit harder than grand speeches. And if you really want to step it up? Have them make a custom cake. Yeah, it's not cheap. This isn't bargain-bin dessert territory. But you're not paying for cheap you're paying for precision, presentation, and that moment when someone's face lights up before they even take a bite. Fun foodie fact: Tous les Jours actually means "every day" in French, and the whole concept behind the brand is baking fresh, daily no shortcuts, no stale shelf life. It's a South Korean-born bakery that blends French technique with Asian-style lightness, which is why their cakes aren't overly heavy or sugary they're balanced, clean, and honestly easier to keep eating than you probably should. That's what puts this place on my list. Not just because the cakes are good but because it delivers something people forget matters: intention. You're not just buying dessert here. You're buying a moment. And if you play it right, that slice might be worth more than the whole cake.
