Great sando! My go to spot when I want to get my grub on without breaking the bank! I would highly recommend.

Again, off the beaten track, but worth searching out. Menu is on the wall. Person at the counter leads you through your order. All three of us had different orders containing different ingredients, all three were way above any other sandwich place. All included olives green peppers mustard ect. Fast, efficient and relatively inexpensive. We will return and I'll update this!!! read more

I happened to be in the area for some specific work on my pickup and the appointment extended a bit longer than I anticipated. Quick Google and Yelp search in this fairly bleak (in terms of dining) area of Lents and Original Sub Factory kept coming up. After my appointment, I drove the few short minutes down Foster and yep, there it was. The store is clean, the owners/operators are friendly, the sandwich was GREAT and the cost was entirely reasonable. I had the lunch special, which was a half sandwich, side and drink for $10 (!). I chose the #1, which is ham, salami and pepperoni. Got everything on it minus onions and olives. Super fresh bread, freshly sliced meat; it was outstanding. I can't recommend this enough if you're looking for an inexpensive, delicious sandwich on Foster near I-205! read more

Always friendly service always fresh bread always good seating if you want to eat there the subs are always delicious. It's nice and cool inside and fast service. We believe these are the best subs at a good price. Other places are way overpriced. read more

Wow. Great sandwiches and a handsome staff had me feeling warm and fuzzy on my lunch break. Daniel made me the best sandwich; pro tip: ask for your sandwich "mikes way" and they'll make it extra special for you. I'll surely be returning for Daniel to have his way in the back too. read more

Had to stop here for a quick bite. Being down in Salem we don't have many options for subs. And especially a sub that I love ordering here. The spicy chicken teriyaki. It's good. It's kinda messy but totally worth it. If you're ever craving a solid sub. Come here and support this local business. read more

I was disappointed highly because I have the best subs around, but today I was driving to Portland from Ridgefield Washington cuz I wanted my dad and stepdad to try their subs and when I got here they were closed I was here at 5:15 and one guy outside said they left like 15 minutes ago you're supposed to stay up until 5:30 I spent an hour driving in traffic to come get their sub sandwich they didn't even stay open till 5:30 I even tried calling them on the phone at 5:10 and 5:15 and nobody would answer to order it so I can just pick it up when I got here I'm very disappointed today and not to take away anything from the Sub Factory sandwiches they're the best it driving 30 miles here in 30 Mi back plus gas I was very upset so where did the wise better get there before 5:30 or before 5:00. I will be back again for sure but I think it's bad business when you don't stay open till you're supposed to especially the place like this that a lot of people love would be nice to get a discount on a sub for it but I'm not the whining type looking for handout so it is what it is. But today I give it a one star not for the food but for the business read more

Great food at a good price. The owner is very personable and seems to know most of the customers by name!

Our only go to spot, Best sandwiches around! We love this place! 100% recommend giving them a try!

These sandwiches are solid. They taste exactly how you would expect them to. No fancy ingredients or sauces, just a simple, everyday sandwich. The prices are excellent as well and don't make you second guess whether you really need this sandwich or if you should just save your money instead. This is the type of local spot you want to support. Friendly service and atmosphere from local people. What more could you want? read more

So I've wanted to try this sub shop for a long time and it didn't disappoint! They have multiple boards to choose from, from normal people to the I want a huge giant masterpiece lol I was not super hungry so I just got a footlong ham and turkey. They ask what you want on it, I chose all the fixins but the peppers. The bread is super fresh and soft, and it was a great fresh sub! And the best part is the value! A little over 8 bucks for a foot long sub these days is wonderful I'll definitely be back read more

Always delicious food. The service is wonderful simple and right straight to the point. I'm almost positive this is the same sub shop that used to be next to Baskin-Robbins years and years ago and then it was in the little market I think on 111th and Foster before it was Plaid Pantry. I remember because of the oil and vinegar mostly lol now I go here as often as possible with my own children. I have to turn my boyfriend onto the place and a bunch of his friends. I like their bentos too. It's always clean and well lit and they are straight to the point but also very friendly. They are so busy all the time but they managed to handle it all. I recommend them as much as I can I love to see local businesses stay alive. read more

Sometimes you just want a simple, delicious and fresh sub. Sub Factory is the perfect stop for a tasty, inexpensive lunch. There was a short line when I arrived, which moved very quickly. The woman at the cash register was so efficient; she was even taking phone orders as she was helping customers. The service was cheerful and quick. I ordered the three cheese sub with everyone on it (except pepperoncinis). All of the ingredients tasted fresh and the bread was the perfect white bread roll with great flavor-yum! It was a basic sub done extremely well. Sub Factory has their own parking lot and a few tables inside. This would be the perfect lunch to take to Leach Botanical Garden or on a picnic in general. read more

if you think this place is good, you need to get out more, the bread is horrible, thick and dense. Their meat ball should be a crime. it sucks because I work right down the street, I'd rather starve. and they just raised there prices for the second time, but have they raised the quality, no it's well below average. Also when I picked up the meat ball sub, they were just pulling it out of the microwave... read more

Saw this shop on Yelp & since it was on our errand route, we thought we'd try them out. Sure glad we did! The menu has lots of sub options, as well as some teriyaki & Korean meals to try. We decided to go "traditional" so we could experience the true Sub Factory. As we shared a large turkey & ham, we couldn't stop with the "Mmmms" and "this is a yummy sandwich!" The bread was perfect. Soft & flavorful yet not falling apart. We enjoyed the fresh meats, cheese & veggies as they were enhanced by just the right ratio of oil & vinegar. I noted that both staff and customers greeted each other by name. It gave a sure sense of neighborhood. All this great food & experience for less cost than any chain sandwich I've had. Now that we know this is a gem in the local sandwich world, we'll visit often and learn the names of new neighbors! read more

Good Sub sandwiches and great service. I usually call ahead and get them to go. Never had a bad experience. These guys are professionals.

Truly a gemstone! Everything on the menu is great, especially the Korean beef bento. Super cool owners as well!

My favorite sub spot in Portland. My boyfriend and I come here at least once a week. All of the meat is great quality and the cooks don't shy away from loading up your sandwich. I haven't had the bento personally but every time I visit someone is dining in eating it so it must be good! The staff is friendly and usually hard at work. The Mac and potato salads are also great. They have a good lunch deal. read more

This is half my sandwich more than 24 hours later and it's still bomb as hell. I'm so sad that after driving by for 5 years that I finally went in just a couple months before I move away. Food is amazing. This is two dinners for $6 amazing. They did some sort of magic because the sandwhich is a day old and tastes better. I am chowing down as I type. They have a super cheap breakfast menu so I'm going to try to check that out later this week. read more

Best sub shop in Southeast! Prices are very reasonable and great selection. Bread is soft and lots if options!

These sandwiches were amazing! Extremely simple sandwiches, but the taste and balance of each condiment/cheese/meat was perfect! My wife just got a Turkey, and I got the pastrami/salami; both phenomenal! If their sandwiches were that good, can't wait to try the breakfast and teriyaki. We will certainly be back! read more

About as classic as they come. Just an unassuming, family owned sub-shop. I've had about a dozen different sandwiches and not a single one has been disappointing. There's just something special out this place and they way they make sandwiches. It's simple and no frills but just hits the spot. It's nostalgic in a way.
