    Southwest Yumm Bowl

I have been eating Cafe Yumm for a *very* long time (like almost two decades). This is our home location, and they're the best and we order from them all the time (shout out to the Keizer location being our other favorite). [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have the nicest employees, it's tidy and kept up, great for take-out or pleasant to dine-in, the portions are what they should be and they rarely make mistakes (and we always have orders with modifications).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've always appreciated this particular location for being quick and dependable, hiring people of all abilities in the past, and always being friendly to my kids.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's our go-to for a quick, yet satisfying meal in a hurry. (Also, love picking up giant bottles of the sauce to make bowls at home!) Cafe Yumm as an entire business smashes it out of the park in terms of vegan offerings and modifications. I only wish they had a vegan kids bowl with avocado or tofu in place of cheese or chicken, and wish it was a little cheaper (there is no way a small or medium would ever fill us up and we loooove to add the seasoned tofu so it can ends up a good chunk of of change for a bowl), and my husband really misses the wrappits -- but overall, definitely in my top 5 for favorite fast takeout options in the area!

For me, not that great. A bowl full of sour cream mush. Didn't much care for it. I had the smoky bowl which looked delicious in the picture. The zucchini soup that i had was delicious. Only problem is that it wasn't hot. I personally must have my soup hot. No need for me to come back. Just meh.

I live in California so every time i visit my daughter and get their ramen. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store looks very nice after the remodeling[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the menu was expanded to offer sushi and rice now which was appreciated

This charming little gem has opened recently in the last year in a nook behind the Clackamas mall…read more And it is an absolute delight. It is a very open space with high ceilings. Although it is mostly composed of white shades, there's a calming mint color to contrast, with small pops of pink. At certain times of the day, it can be particularly busy, and the noise levels can be high. There is a combination of both sweet and savory options. The food is centered around croissant dough being formed into waffle shapes. When my coworker and I went, it was during the February special, which premiered certain flavored croffle and drinks for a limited time. One of the types we had was the Burrata & Prosciutto. The creamy burrata, the salty, satiny layers of prosciutto, contrasted with the sharp and sweet notes of the balsamic glaze was mouthwatering. The croissant base made for a great vehicle for the toppings, being soft in the center, and flaky on the exterior. The Nutella, Strawberries & Bananas Croffle was an instant classic, albeit a little heavy on the Nutella, since they stuffed some more of it in the interior of the croffle. The seasonal Berry in Love was absolutely fantastic. The fresh berries and house-made compote with the slightly sweetened whip was not heavy on the palate at all. For the drinks, we got the Sweetheart Latte, which was a light blend of rose and vanilla. The Blushing Matcha was incredibly smooth and earthy with notes of tangy raspberry bits over foam. Overall, it was a great experience. Both the food and drink are excellent. But expect prices to be more on the expensive side. The staff was also informative and hard at work behind the counter. I have already been back to this establishment a couple of times.

Croffle has a modern and comforting interior that is really inviting. I loved the decor and all the spaces there were places I'd be happy to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee for a while. The whole cafe is bright and open. The cold brew that I ordered was phenomenal. The cream top was nice and thick and gave me exactly what I needed. I loved the creamy sweetness from the cold brew and I now wished that I had gotten a larger size. If you are into a creamy and smooth coffee experience then this is what I'd highly recommend. We also tried the mojito which was a bit less great than the coffee. It was refreshing, but more just like a mojito flavored lemon soda. If you really need something bubbly, this is totally fine, but I'd stick with the coffee for sure.

There are times when I just want to relax with a cup of coffee, vegan baked good, and a good book. I was able to do all 3 on my recent outing to Milwaukie! I come to Milwaukie about once or twice a month. Keeper Coffee is the kind of place I could have spent the whole afternoon at! It's spacious, and fun decor. I ordered my vegan baked good and a latte with almond milk. Headed upstairs to get a small table. They brought my coffee to me. The coffee flavor was strong and I added a couple packets of stevia, but it was good. The baked good was really delicious. I ended up stepping out in the hallway to use the restroom. It's a really spacious restroom. There were other businesses upstairs and a cool mural. I had no problem finding parking. I will definitely be back!

My son and I have been here dozens of times over the past year, especially more recently since we intentionally weaned off Starbucks, and honestly, no regrets. Service is always friendly, which adds to the charm. My go-to is their sugar-coated classic donut: simple, nostalgic, and hard to beat. That said, they tend to sell out of the classics quickly, so if you're a fan like me, go early or prepare for disappointment. I'm not personally into the mochi-style donuts; I prefer mine airy, fluffy, and melt-in-your-mouth soft. But to be fair, my son and friend love them, especially the raspberry and lemon mochi flavors. My son also enjoys their Vietnamese coffee, especially with white chocolate as a replacement for condensed milk, his new favorite alternative to his usual Starbucks order. As for me, their standard coffee beans are a bit zesty and citrusy, which doesn't quite suit my taste, but others might appreciate that brighter profile. Still, Coco Donuts is a solid neighborhood gem: local, dependable, and sweet in all the right ways.

Five Stars Romance Served by the Slice…read more Tucked inside Clackamas Town Center sits Tous les Jours, and I'll be honest I didn't give it the respect it deserved the first time around. I rushed a review, checked in, moved on. That was a mistake. This place isn't just a bakery it's a quiet little weapon in your romance arsenal. You walk in and you're hit with that warm, sweet scent of fresh bread and cream, the kind that makes you slow down whether you planned to or not. Now here's the move: don't overthink it. You don't need to walk out with a whole cake (though you absolutely can). Grab a single slice chocolate, fruit, cream-filled, whatever catches your eye and bring it home like it actually means something. Because it does. Small gestures hit harder than grand speeches. And if you really want to step it up? Have them make a custom cake. Yeah, it's not cheap. This isn't bargain-bin dessert territory. But you're not paying for cheap you're paying for precision, presentation, and that moment when someone's face lights up before they even take a bite. Fun foodie fact: Tous les Jours actually means "every day" in French, and the whole concept behind the brand is baking fresh, daily no shortcuts, no stale shelf life. It's a South Korean-born bakery that blends French technique with Asian-style lightness, which is why their cakes aren't overly heavy or sugary they're balanced, clean, and honestly easier to keep eating than you probably should. That's what puts this place on my list. Not just because the cakes are good but because it delivers something people forget matters: intention. You're not just buying dessert here. You're buying a moment. And if you play it right, that slice might be worth more than the whole cake.

But the stench of cleaner and bleach was so strong, I was driven out by it. It was almost burning my nose... I'm wondering how this is safe for the workers to be exposed to it. Either way, they should only break out the cleaner when there are no customers left in the shop or after they close. I just quickly ran through to see what they had since it was my first time. The pastries all look beautiful and they had milk bread, mascarpone bread, different flavored croissants, macaroons, but the best part of all were the beautiful cakes. If these are Asian inspired cakes, then they're not going to be as sweet as American cakes. And I like that! I bought a couple of cookies. I think a lot of these items you could get cheaper at H Mart, 99 ranch, or Uwajimaya. Looking forward to coming back in the middle of the day when they're not closing, to take my time and pick out some sweet and savory items without the cleaner smell taking over.
