I am gluten free, I don't necessarily, need everything wiped down. If I did they would have been cleaning for a while and they were already behind. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU. When i walked in, it was my wife and i, and i can already say this place seemed to be run under bad management because when we went in, the lobby was completely disgusting and the counter and slicer where they would be preparing subs was so dirty, it was caked with meat and cheese. I would have minded if it was at all busy, but there was only 1 other person in the store and 3 people in the back you could here talking incredible loud, would've been nice if we could've been helped sooner. There was a single girl in the front who was registering, and couldn't get to us because of that. After around 3 min of watching this girl run this ship alone, a guy with blonde hair and a mustache came out. He acted like literally nothing happened and he had been there the whole time, before he sliced our subs that girl on register wiped down the counters so we felt more comfortable actually eating the food here. My wife got a cold sub so she got hers sliced and i got a hot sub. I went to the bathroom shortly after ordering and when i came back i heard the most atrocious thing i think i've ever heard in a store, whilst i was in the bathroom the kid with the mustache apparently was talking to another employee behind the wall about how much of a "baddie" my wife was, talking about her body, and made absolutely no attempt to be quite about it. who does that? she told me what she heard while i was in the bathroom, and unfortunately my wife already paid or else i would've never given money to this establishment. In most cases, i would've confronted him myself but my wife didn't want that and the girl who helped us didn't deserve to be around it. We did in fact ask what the kids name was and found out, HE IS THE MANAGER! His name is NOAH. so in case you're thinking about stopping in and getting some food, next time consider if you want inappropriate comments made about you or and woman you may be with. read more

We've usually come here on a promo for free sandwiches or something like that because it's not in an area we typically go to pickup food. Although we have ordered more recently online for delivery which has been great. They're just standard sub sandwiches, but we've never been disappointed. The regular size is a good size sandwich for one, but if you go up a size it's definitely big enough for two and saves a little money (if you can agree on a sandwich type that is). We've never had a problem and they're well made, evenly distributed and not lacking on substance. If you're looking for a sub in the area then I would suggest giving them a try. read more

The customer service sucked today. Not one employee greeted any customers coming in or going out. We did a takeout order online but none of the sandwiches had your names on it. When I asked the lady for a side of vinegar and oil to go she just rolled her eyes, went back and gave us a container but it was mixed. They're supposed to be separated. read more

Been here several times but had a horrible experience this time. Smallest issue was they didn't have the rosemary bread again. So the real problem was the person who was supposed to do the veggies etc... got in an argument with another employee right in front of me about who was gonna finish my sandwich. This went on for five minutes. Bickering back and forth. Then one of the employees begrudgingly decided to finish my $20 sub sandwich out of the kindness of his heart.... Garbage. These employees acted very unprofessional and need to be replaced immediately. Contacted the franchisee owner and haven't had a response. Okay this place had me the 1st time I ate a sub sandwich from them. I think I figured out how you have to do it, *You Must be there to oversee the sandwich making process..*other wise you get a sub sandwich with so much mayo and salad dressing it soggy's up all the bread ,I literally had to get rid of the bottom half and double it and try and make it edible it really didn't work so I ate what I could salvage with crackers..not what I envisioned for my sub sandwich ... DO NOT USE THEIR ONLINE ORDER OPTION!! Jersey Mike's has the most horrible online service option. What I take from this expiernece is they don't want your business. Let me just list every obstacle they throw in front of your ability to place an order: 1. On Friday, I try to place an order for Monday. I only find out after I manually fill out over dozen individualized sandwiches that you can only order same day or next day. It doesn't let you go any further out. 2. I wait until Sunday to place my Monday order. I only find out AFTER filling out all individual orders again AND filling out payment info that once I try to complete the order, it says the order cannot be made until 10am on Tuesday!!! 3. I give in to their ridiculous request of a 24 hour delay for a little over a dozen sandwiches since I guess 72 hours is too much notice and 24 hours is too little notice. I change my pickup time to Tuesday at 1:30pm instead of Monday and now it tells me it's too late to have my order ready by then!?! What the heck does that mean??? This company needs to fire their online team and try again. Small to moderate sized orders can only be placed 24 hours out? I understand if I tried to place 30/40/50+ but I was nowhere near that. Then it tells me they need more time and THE SITE lets me choose a time later but then tells me that's too much time????????? Just ridiculous and they are obviously wanting you to shop elsewhere. You may like these sandwiches, and my employees do, but it makes me want to take them up on their not to subtle offer of finding another sandwich company. read more

Jersey Mike's was our favorite sub sandwich shop until today. My wife picked up a Italian sub to bring home for lunch, they are still only offering takeout due to the Coronavirus. We got home and started to eat the sandwich, which we split, but either the bread was old and stale or it was overbaked because we could hardly bite through the hard crunchy roll. I tried to call to complain several times but kept getting a Verizon message saying the line was busy and to try calling later. I was never able to get through. While I love the sandwiches at Jersey Mike's, I could have done without the attitude mine came with during my recent visit. I was slightly confused by what they were doing with one of the sandwiches I ordered (putting bacon on one that doesn't have it) and when I asked one simple question the person working on them began rolling their eyes and when they responded they had a tone in their voice like I was the most annoying person they'd ever dealt with. I have never felt the urge to say "you know what, never mind on my order" and walk out of an establishment, or say "excuse me, can I speak with your manager" due to an employee's attitude until today, but I guess there's a first time for everything. Was inside the store today 06/22/2024 near closing time when the store was very busy when an inpatient customer had came in and begun arguing and demanding their food before everyone else with the hard working staff and complaining about their order taking too long. The workers being so incredibly patient and professional had expressed numerous times that they were working hard to get everyone's orders and sandwich's finished so everyone could enjoy their meals and showed everyone else in the store how much more mature and professional they were. This is the best sub...ever. I have never been a sub fan but this has changed my entire outlook on anything with bread holding in any combination of sliced meats. Everything about this was great! Their freshly baked bread was just the high point of my day. I got the Parmesan and rosemary and it is perfection! The meats, cheese and even all of the veggies were fresh and just delicious. Their oil and vinegar sauce, oh my it really gives that "zing" they talk about. It was 1:15pm when I arrived. I walked in to verify this head scratcher and sure enough, the woman beind the counter confirmed to me preference was being given to on-line orders over walk-ins. I ordered the same sub from a different location and got the proper sandwich. I really like Jersey Mike's Subs, but this location needs a good manager. Their staff is inattentive, the restaurant is messy behind the counter (subs made but just sitting out unwrapped), and I have to ask to be served. The staff is usually talking and laughing amongst themselves while customers wait in line, and it is obvious online and phone orders take precedence. The person making my sandwich took the debris (lettuce, onions, oil, etc) from the previous sandwich and threw it all in the lettuce bin, then asked me what toppings I want. I skipped the lettuce, as I did not want onions and oil. I will eat these subs again, just not at this location (Sunnyside, Clackamas). read more

Very disappointed!! I love usually coming to Jersey Mike's, but I am super pissed right now! I am diabetic and I can't eat carbs right now so I was excited to see you could order it in a "tub" which is just a to go container. No bread just the inside of the sandwich. I got extra cheese and extra meat so I can get more full without having the bread. I get my container and open it up to find there is basically the same amount of filling as you'd get in a $9 sandwich there. I paid extra and a tip which came to a little over $13 and hit barely anything. My husband couldn't believe that was the amount of food I got for that price. It was crazy!! The sandwich comes with extra cheese and then I ordered extra on top of that, doesn't look like much cheese at all! Now I'm not sure if we wanna even come back at all. What is the point of using the app? It's stupid. I order my sandwich at 11:00am with the app to avoid the lunch rush it says ready in 20 minutes, I leave my job at 11:20 get there at 11:30 no sandwich. Watch three people walk in and get half a dozen plus sandwiches made on the spot, I then watch the sandwich I ordered 35 minutes ago get made that was supposed to be ready 15 minutes prior, it got handed to me 40 minutes after I ordered it by the time they bagged it and brought it out. This is covid you need to get better at this. I love jersey mike's subway is nasty stop driving me to eat there with your inability to predict and fulfill online orders. This is the best service I have received at this location in a long time because I haven't been in a while last time I ordered there it said it'd be ready in 20 minutes I went there got there 25 minutes after ordering it and waited another 40 minutes to get my sandwich. Mixed reviews. The guy who made my sandwich needs a serious lesson in looking up and acknowledging customers. A simple HELLO ILL BE WITH YOU IN A MOMENT goes along way instead of having me stand in line and stand and stand. So rude of that guy. When it was my turn to order he stands there says nothing only holding a pen and pad to take my order. Never asked a question not even my name for the order never asked if I wanted anything else. Just stood there. He was super friendly with those before and after me. ON THE OTHER HAND... The ones who topped off my sandwich and the cashier were AMAZING!!! Professional courteous offered other items signed me up for rewards ect.... perfect service. I will continue to be a customer off my experience with the two of them. A lot better than I expected. There is nothing fancy here, but the sandwiches are definitely on the better side of average. If Subway is your benchmark, you really owe it to yourself to check Jersey Mike's out. Unlike Subway, the meats and vegetables here actually have a LOT of flavor! The bread on its own is very tasty as well. Unlike Quizno's, they don't drown their sandwiches in sauces; they let the meats and cheeses speak for themselves. The staff is very friendly, and seems to take pride in memorizing customers' names so they can call them by name on their way out to thank them for coming in. They close at 9, I walk in before 8:30 and the guy who was sweeping gave me attitude when I asked if they were still open. He kept sweeping so I had to wait a couple of minutes for my sandwich. My husband and I stopped by here for the first time to grab lunch for our family. The entire staff was incredibly nice and the food was good, but for not being busy it was a head ache. When making my kid's sandwiches, I asked for tomato on one, and not on the other. I looked over to say something to my husband and saw tomato on both. I figured it was easier to tell my son to pick it off if he decided he didn't want it than to have them take it off. When I stepped up to pay as they were still cooking my husband and my sandwiches I realized I left my card in my car. I ran out to grab it and when I got back in they had everything wrapped to go. I was never asked if I wanted any veggies on my sandwich. I don't know if this is standard with hot sandwiches or not. We got home and my husband opened his buffalo chicken Philly and the buffalo sauce was ALL over the outside of the bread. It was a huge soggy mess. Miraculously, he says still delicious- so points there! Again, the food itself IS GOOD. My go to favorite is the #99 from the secret menu, its basically the big kahuna cheese steak with spicy mayo, I've been to many places who have a philly cheesesteak but ill tell you that this is still my favorite, and I'm telling you I really hate to admit a chain sub shop has the best anything.. but for me it just makes me crave it. And of course this plays blows away subway and Jimmy John's. Firehouse would be my second choice for a chain sub try it you will like it! read more
