This is probably going to be one of the most biased reviews you might read. So if you do not like Chick-fil-a then just skip this review. Having lived in the South, Chick-fil-a holds a special place in my heart. I rarely give a fast food place more than 4 stars, but you just can't find nuggets better than at this place! The cost might be more than average for a fast food place, but the food is also more than average. In fact it's great! If you get a chance the lemonade is one of the best. Oh and also make sure to get the lemon meringue pie! There really isn't anything on the menu that isn't good. Well except for the pickles, I'm not a fan of pickles. ;) The service and service standard required by Chick-fil-a as a whole company is some of the best that I have ever seen. The servers are always kind and helpful. They will also walk around and ask if there is anything you need. For kids, this is one of the best places. The play area is great and a much needed distraction while waiting for your food. Which won't be that long. Also there are placemats that help keep the food from being all over the table. It's a great option for little kids. I really am happy that Chick-Gil-a has come to Portland but if we could get one in the Springfield area I would be overjoyed! Aloha, My name is Judy C. & I am addicted to chicken! I love chicken and if given a choice of beef or chicken- I'll go for chicken! I have been to Chick-fil-A, 7 years ago when I was in California, since then I have never been near a Chick-fil-A and I am so happy we have finally reunited. Since we were shopping at Clakamas Mall on a Saturday night and we were so close to Chick-Fil-A, we stopped by to get food before we headed off to our hotel. Did you know that the owner of Chick-Fil-A gives their employees Sundays off so they can spend time with family which means they are closed on Sundays!! This is such a wonderful thing to do! When we arrived, the parking lot was a mess, and the drive thru was packed. My other half waited in the car since he couldn't find parking. I walked in to get our orders. The line wasn't as bad as the drive thru. The cashier was very patient and answered all of my questions, since it has been too long. I ordered our spicy chicken sandwiches and the famous waffles fries and when the cashier asked what kind of sauce would you like? ah the memories, I said can you give me one of each. As I bite in to my spicy chicken sandwich, which was so crispy, so fresh and cooked just right. No unprocessed meat at all, Tasted so good and so amazing, just as I remembered. Dipping my waffle fries and trying out all the different sauces, Yums!! I loved the waffle fries, so crispy and the sauce accompanied it so well. Overall it was so good, so worth waiting years for and now that I am back in Hawaii, I really want me some Chick-Fil-A!! (( Please open in Honolulu!!)) Well, Happy Valley, Oregon Chick-Fil-A just lost customers. We've been going to this Chik-Fil-A proudly ever since it has opened and been satisfied with our purchases. But today's service that we received was disappointing. Waited almost 20 minutes for just 2 sandwiches. We got to the window and the girl instructed us to pulled forward to the curb-side pick up spot. With another car in front of us had already sit and waited for his order. Meanwhile, I counted 7 cars behind us got their orders and drove off. WTF!! I put my car on parked and went to the window and asked "What's Up"?? with our order? "Sir, we still working on it". Not coming back! I know Chick-fil-A can do better. read more

I have only been here a couple times since they opened. First time through I was not impressed. It was a bit disappointing after all of the hype leading up to the opening. I didn't go back for a long time. Recently I stopped again and must say it was a lot better than the first time I went. BUT it was still nothing special. Very empty as far as the sandwiches are concerned. The taste was just average. The cost for the value just does not equal out. Event though I would still not recommend going here if it is out of your way, but I would now stop if I was in the area and hungry for a chicken sandwich. read more

I have to update my review from years ago. You see, my previous experiences were always a coworker picking up lunch during an erand run etc so it was rarely less than an hour old. So today was my first visit to Chick-fil-a on site. In terms of chicken and chicken sandwiches nobody does it better, or I haven't at least experienced it myself. The facility is clean, the operation well ran, personnel helpful and friendly, cost is reasonable.......all the boxes get check marks. read more

I've never had an issue until today!!! I ordered two 12 pieces of nuggets, spicy deluxe, deluxe chicken sandwich, a salad and 2 large fries and a large Mac N Cheese. The nuggets are my kids main order. I get home... and NO NUGGETS OR THE SPICY DELUXE. I live 25 mins away... and now I have to drive back. I have never had an issue before... but if I spend $50 on an order, why would you not double check??? So frustrating!!! And now I have to drive back. Irritating!!! read more

What was a stop at a higher and fast food "restaurant "ended up being a very disappointing visit. First I'll start with the food, I think is pretty tasty and like I said on the higher end of fast food however it is a bit overpriced for the quantity you get. I will equate it to Bergerville in terms of overall bang for your buck as far as quantity goes, but I would take Bergerville over Chick-fil-A nine out of 10 times. We spent 12 to 13 bucks and had a couple of teeny chicken strips and a rather small chicken sandwich and a small portion of french fries and a couple of drinks. Onto the service, which is what gets this location the rating that it has. I've been here probably four times and I would say two of those times I had exceptional service I would give it 4 of 5 stars. The other two times were polar opposite visits then the previously mentioned ones. This last one on Wednesday the 25th takes the cake. I'm out the front Counter getting ready to place an order when the staff at the drive-through which is right next to front counter crank up the radio. The songs are playing is a hip hop song about cocaine and how the singer loves cocaine, will go loco and kill someone and several times in the song uses some very colorful language. "F" the popo and dropping the N word as well. No I have no problem with music being verbally charged like that, I listened to more than my share of it when I was younger too. I was always respectful enough though not the subject other people's kids to hearing derogatory racial slurs or cussing, that just is uncalled for especially at a place of business such as this. Chick-fil-A has a reputation of being very family orientated and conscientious of everybody's beliefs and feelings, however the staff do not act in such a manner as was displayed on this evening. I was in line with a nine-year-old when this music comes on and the girls in the drive-through start dancing around and twerking, and the kid with me has this look on his face like he can't believe what he's hearing or seeing. He is not overly sheltered, but I don't play this kind of music for him to hear. I had asked the girl who is ringing us up to have them turn it down they should be playing that in this establishment and we look out in the dining room and there's other families out there that are staring up at the counter with a looks of disgust at what they are hearing. Ignoring us really, she said oh I'm sorry I know and then proceeded to finish our transaction. As soon as she was done she turned around to walk the opposite direction to go clean tables. Didn't say a word to the staff back there having a good all-time and shaking booties to this very inappropriate song for that place and time. I walked by the staff who rang us up as we were walking to the table with our food and said to her - can you have the manager come talk to me please, to which she replied sure. We're about halfway through the meal and I could see the manager talking to her and the other staff before coming over to talk to me and she walks up saying I heard you wanted to talk to me? I expressed to her what had happened and how inappropriate that is for a family establishment and she said in a condescending way oh I understand they lost their music privileges now. I was outside and I didn't know. It was plainly obvious that she just didn't really care, and she really is pretty close the same age as the other staff having a party while they work in the drive-through so that doesn't surprise me. I won't be back to this location, and I try not to eat fast food much at all so there's a good possibility Chick-fil-A Will be eliminated from my rotation regardless of the location. read more

03/12/19: 5.0 out of 5 - For a fast food eatery, if you want to call it that, this Chick-fil-A is superb. Although busy for being close to 9 PM, the place is kept clean. The food is prepped and presented well, and it's tasty! The service is above and beyond some of the best restaurants in Portland. AND, without a tip jar! Best part of it all, this place has kept it all consistent. So, if you haven't done so, try this place out once and decide for yourself. Enjoy! read more

Wow the chicken sandwich is a must! I prefer it over the nuggets! Overall quick service but most importantly they have great customer service! I'm appalled by customer service so friendly! The sauces are amazing the only downside to this particular location is the parking. read more

Went for dinner tonight and we waited 20 mins before getting into the drive thru of the parking lot where we were able to order from an attendant who held a small menu 2 feet away with small print and pictures. So I went with the simplest thing I could recognize and hoped it would be good. Then we ended up waiting another 25 mins in line as the other attendants brought food out to all the cars in line. None of which were not able to get out of the drive through and enjoy there food, because one customer wanted to change there order at the drive thru window. Instead of management asking them to park and take it out to them, the rest of the people in line ended up with cold food for dinner. Bad management and tolerable food, probably better if it was hot. Chances are I will not return, nor recommend this restaurant. read more

Food is not bad... but not great. They do it better in Texas, where I first had Chic-fil-A. Burgers, wraps, or whatever you order does not come dressed with any mayo ketchup or mustard. All the staff was super friendly and makes you feel at home even in the drive thru line. I waited 15 minutes in-line to order during 11:30 lunch rush. Not worth the hype. read more

A lot of people hate on Chick-fil-A and fast food joints in general, but Chick-fil-A is truly different and something special. This location holds true to that with fast, courteous service with a smile and a "My pleasure". The tables, floors, and rest rooms are always clean. And there is a vase of fresh flowers on the table. When was the last time you saw fresh flowers at your table at McDonald's or Taco Bell or Red Robin or anywhere for that matter?? Another thing I always notice is that Chick-fil-A employees always seem upbeat and cheerful. Being a fast food employee can't be the most fun job out there, but employees at Chick-fil-A always seem to be making the most of it. Since living in the Northwest for the last 20 years, I've noticed Northwesterns always put down chain restaurants when a new one comes to town. They've always had better somewhere else. This was the case when Oregon got it's first Krispy Kreme, Sonic, and now Chick-fil-A. People say things like, "Its just alright. But I prefer my whatever from this other place." If you live in the Portland Metro and haven't tried Chick-fil-A yet, give it a try. It truly is an experience that's about more than just the chicken. Try the #1 with pickles or without or even with extra pickles. I prefer the 4 piece chicken strips and some Chick-fil-A sauce, waffle fries, and an Arnold Palmer. Their chocolate chip cookies are delicious as is their breakfast burttio. read more

This is the only chick fil-a for miles so this joint is CROWDED. I'm here at 4:30 pm on a Saturday and the line goes past the door, I was really surprised because I didn't think the line would be so long during in between meal times. However it may be crowded because tmr is Sunday and CFA is close on all Sundays. Anyway the restaurant is clean with flowers on the table which adds a nice touch to the decor. Their food here is SOO good I wouldn't even consider it fast food because their chicken tastes incredibly fresh and moist unlike McDonald's. Their waffle fries are to die for with some CFA sauce and ranch. Even their salads are good! They have free WiFi here as well. Would definitely come back because I love the food here and there isn't another CFA for at least 10 miles. One star off for the crowds. read more

For the price this is unmatched. Try and find a chicken sandwich for 3$ with this quality. It's no 15$ chicken Burger, but it's amazing for the price. Always glad to support a Christian company too!! Just don't show up on Sunday :D still always forget that it's closed, but for good reason. read more

I have been dying to go to Chick fil a for a while and I finally made it! It was so delicious! The chicken is tender and juicy and the sauces are yummy. I especially liked the honey mustard and polynesian sauces. Although I live 2 hours away I will definitely be back! read more

Chick-fil-A sets the standard for service! The drive through can be 15 cars deep but go faster than 2 cars elsewhere. There is a lineup of friendly and professional staff taking orders in the lineup of cars. The food is delicious and prepared with high standards. I have never had a wrong order. The staff genuinely appear to enjoy working there and it comes across in their service. The spicy chicken sandwich is my favorite! But they also serve wraps and salads that are very tasty and healthy. It's hard to even consider this place "fast food." You will pay higher prices than you might expect at a drive through restaurant. read more

I went to the Clackamas OR location with my daughter Kennedy. It was quite difficult to even get into the parking lot! The drive through lanes blocked traffic, so be aware! -- I had the chicken nuggets, milk, and macaroni and cheese. The macaroni and cheese was just okay-- a bit too dry for me. The service was quick and friendly, we for sure will return. read more

Everyone I know has raved about how amazing Chick-fil-A is. I decided to give it a try today with a family member. The first issue was that we had ordered three sandwiches, all with no tomato's and no pickles. When we received them they all had tomato's and pickles so I parked and walked inside and explained the situation. The employee helping us wasn't very kind and didn't seem to care. After we received the remade food we thanked them and went back into the car. Upon reviewing the food AGAIN, they had pickles. It was only a big deal because my family member has a severe allergy to pickles. So, we went in for a second time and explained again how we asked for no pickles, this time the employee helping us was nice however the crew were making audible comments about how we kept complaining about the food. There would be no need to complain if they simply did their job correctly the first time. They did get it right the second time, after that whole experience it really deterred me from ever wanting to come here again. The food was mediocre and it annoyed me mostly because I also work at a high-volume restaurant and I understand how it can be overwhelming and having to remake an order can be stressful; however, you are working there to service paying customers. The customer does not have the fault that they're order isn't made correctly or accurately. I was mostly just disappointed in the whole experience, two stars and I won't be back. read more

I recommend trying their original flavors the Spicy and Soy Garlic wings on your first venture, but if you're familiar already then dive into their more expansive menu! I haven't had a miss yet, though their specialty is definitely their wings. The rest of their menu doesn't miss, but they aren't top tier compared to dedicated Korean restaurants. I find this to be more satisfying than anything in the Clackamas food courts, so I recommend anyone who hasn't tried Bonchon to give a look!

It's nicely organized to accommodate all that's displayed but there isn't much for seating available. Really it's just 1 two seater table. I would consider it more of a to go cafe. Since it's located in a large shopping center there is plenty of easy parking. It's a good banh mi with tons of other snack foods offered so it's worth a stop in to try.
