When I do go to this McDonald's it's usually pretty good for McDonald's. They are friendly and get through the lines fairly quickly. This time however they had a few problems. One is that the Diet Coke in the lobby was either almost out of syrup or the mix was jot right. Then I had ordered two cheeseburgers with extra pickles. One I can say had extra pickles because there was three, the other burger had two pickles but most importantly had a piece of paper between the cheese and the condiments and bun. I got these to go and eat on the run, luckily I happened to see the paper. Not too sure paper tastes that great. It was also out together very sloppily. I gave two stars because normally they aren't that bad. read more

Earlier today I went to pick an order up for my step mother, the app wasn't allowing me to check in so I went inside and talked to the cashier Ruby, she was very sweet and I explained that I didn't know the order number and I wasn't able to check in but that it was under Ashley. I was told that I needed the order number and I think Ruby just might not have been aware of how to look up a name on an order (which is fine) but she asked me to step to the side and wait to see if the order would come out. I waited for about 15 minutes and my step mom asked me to come back. She went in to see about getting a refund since we presumed the order wasn't made at all and there was no email to confirm it was made. She explained that I came by earlier and just asked to talk to a supervisor and for a refund since we didn't get the food. Another male was listening to my step mom and asked her if the order was for Ashley and my step mom confirmed that it was and the male asked her "why didn't she just give the name for the order?" Well smart Alec I did! It's probably good business practice to make sure everyone is trained or maybe ask the cashier who was out front for the last 30 minutes if anyone asked about an order for Ashley rather than assume no one came by for an order. The situation was just poorly handled. Training around the app could be improved. read more

Blonde hair young lady with heavy makeup and eyeliner yelled at my old grandmother because my grandmother couldn't hear. She yelled saying "what else do you need?" Terrible attitude. Just lazy and gross. Our entire order was wrong! We paid for larges. Got large fries they only filled the container one third of the way. (Fries were cold and squishy). Got 2 double quarter pounders with one patty on both burgers. (Double means two). read more

What an absolute joke this location still is after a fresh remodel. Mixing up the drive thru orders when you go to pay is a first sign that your meal is going to be crappy. Then when you receive your order and open it up and it's literally thrown together. This is sloppy and bull crap. Welcome back to Sandy, you are still a part of the elite, crappy customer service and crappy fast food joints. P.S. My meal tasted so awful. The burger was overcooked and dry, chewy and had an awful flavor. I threw out our $20.77 order and went to a real burger joint for a real meal for cheaper than this awful "food". Alot of McDonald's seem to be taking out the indoor play ground. Thankfully this McDonald's still had one, yay. Perfect place to stop when the kids are hungry and over energized. Or when it's too cold to go to a park. Clean bathrooms also a plus. They got our order wrong but the worker was new. So still recommend this spot. read more

Took 25 minutes on Sunday afternoon to get my food. Wasn't busy, people after me got their food. When I approached an employee after 15 minutes of waiting, they were surprised I hadn't received my food. They looked at my receipt, it wasn't showing on the board. So somehow it was lost from their kiosk to their board. He said he'd take care of it but it took another 9 minutes or so to get it. Didn't even offer a refund, apple pie or anything as a gesture of goodwill. Also, didn't give us our drinks until we got our food. Was very disappointed with the service and how it was handled. While eating, I overheard a couple different people come in from the drive thru with messed up orders at the same time. It seems things went downhill more after my situation. I usually stop in Sandy to grab a bite to eat on my way to Bend and I'll probably never eat here again. There's plenty of other places around the area and I've never had an issue with them. read more

So they dropped my fish burger on the floor so they had to replace it which took at least 10 minutes by the time they replace the fish burger the cheeseburger and the fries were cold. They need to change their french fry oil it was Rancid . They had me wait outside as I sat there a guy came up to me and said he had a crispy chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger was it mine I said no so he took it to the car parked in front of me. Then he came back to my car and told me that he had actually had my order but he had handed it to the woman in front of me. The worst McDonalds I've ever been to. Womens bathroom broken. Out of ice. Dirty tables and food everywhere on the floor. My wife orders a cheeseburger happy meal. Guy taking order says they don't have that on the menu. After questioning him he says they have a hamburger happy meal and could add cheese. Took 30 minutes to get our food. It was busy but not THAT busy. I order a normal bacon cheeseburger. It comes smothered in mushrooms. I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes to get the right burger. The Sandy Mcdonald's has a pretty good team of people working most of the time. It can be hit or miss if your burgers are right. As I have said in a review of another place, my dog is the cheeseburger junky. He only gets them when he is lucky enough to hitch a ride with me to town, so he gets the heroin shakes for them in the drive thru. I've ordered them plain to have them have extra ketchup.. so go figure. read more

You give me my ketchup when I ask for it, not when you think I should ask for it, at the speaker or the first window. I'd give zero stars if possible. This franchise doesn't care about the "overall McDonald's experience", which is McDonald's basis for all marketing. Jeri, the shift manager when I was there wouldn't allow me to swap an egg white delight, using the promo 2:1 egg mcmuffin. Four other McDonald's (Portland, Bend, Redmond, Prineville) did that without making me feel like I was asking the impossible. I was willing to pay for any difference in cost. I was told "No" in a very unprofessional way. This franchise must only be concerned with the all mighty dollar instead a happy customer. Needless to say, "i'm lovin' it" isn't possible in Sandy! And, although I travel back and forth from Central Oregon to Portland, I will never stop here again. Rude management is not a good quality to have in employees. read more

Soon as we got to the window she said "just know I'm making your food". None of my friends wanted to eat the food anymore. I would never recommend this place to anyone! Good service in the morning and afternoon. At night, it's awful. Slow service. Mostly kids working. I waited in the drive thru 10 minutes for two soft drinks, and there was no one in front of me in line, and no customers inside. The girl taking my order was too busy flirting with another worker to get my order right. They were talking and laughing. She wasn't paying attention to what she was doing.
