I just went through drive with my two kids. We got beans and rice and a burrito for my son. We where sharing the beans and rise plate and I look down after we have all taken a few bite and I see spit or snot on the plate. It was not ours. We are not sick my kids are only enough to not do that. I am so disgusted with this We all stopped eating it my son got some in his mouth. He was so grossed out and I am too for him. For the expensive price, my soft burritos had hardly any meat or filling. I added sour cream and could hardly detect any in my burritos. Very disappointing. They have no self-serve sauce station like all the other Taco Time locations. I asked for hot sauce, they gave me 2. Acted perturbed when I asked for more. Lobby was filthy. Pile of dirt and broom leaning on table. Why not just finish the job, sweep the pile up and put away the broom. Not very appetizing to have to look at that. So an update on this location in sandy Oregon, I've been back about 5 times in the last couple months and I've been pleasantly surprised! Every time my food has been hot, freshly made and very tasty! They always make my mexi fries to order and my crisp tacos are stuffed full. The crew has been extremely polite and makes sure everything is perfect, and my dog loves that they give her treats lol. If I could give it a negative 3 stars I would absolutely terrible. Ordered a chicken quesadilla chicken, 2 taco burgers, spuds, a side of onions, ranch, salsa verde and ketchup with a ice water. First off there employees don't know the difference from hot sauce and salsa verse apparently, did not receive side of onions, the chicken quesadilla only had chicken on half of it, both taco burgers the buns were torn up and squished. The had no lettuce on them, the meat was cold, had 4 little chopped tomatoes on it and some sauce and the spuds tasted like they had sat on warmer for an hour before serving. Just cause you are a fast food resteruant don't mean you can just send garbage out the window. Called the manager and he said eat some where else then. 10-4 we will never be back and that's to bad cause we love taco time so we will be driving to Gresham from here on out. read more

I guess this would be a 5/10. Not good not bad. Just perfect mediocrity. We ate here in a food emergency. $7.50 for 3 bean & cheese burritos and an order of churro thingys sounds attractive if you're on a budget, sure. But the food is utterly devoid of enjoyable attributes. The untoasted tortilla has the look, texture, and taste of play-doh. The beans were flavorless and the cheese was suspiciously plastique. The Churros were pretty ok. I wished I hadn't eaten at Taco Time. The people there were pretty nice though and seemed to be having a fair time at work so I'm happy for that. The place seemed clean too. The bathrooms though were like outside and around the corner, complete with a key attached to a large metal can. There's a lot of reasons to give a business a 5 Star rating one of them would be on how they simply treat people in their establishment. More important than the food more important than anything else if you ask me and these guys especially the manager has always treated me nicely, doesn't matter if the guy is a construction guy or in a suit they're treated equally with a genuine smile in this Taco Time - I appreciate the manager in glasses that's always working. This place beats TB with flying colors. With 2 or 3 times the meat on their tacos, and properly prepared. Meat, cheese, lettuce. Not meat, lettuce, cheese. You don't make them that way at home do you? Neither do I. And what little cheese they give you always just falls off right? Here the cheese melts next to the meat, tastes better and stays in the taco like it should. I also get a craving now and then for their crispy(deep fried) meat burrito and an order of Mexi fries (seasoned tots). If you dine in they have better than packet salsa in red or green. This was BY FAR the worst Taco Time my family and I have been to. The first one ever was in Seattle and compared to this one, Seattle's was absolutely amazing. We stopped by to get some Crisp Burritos on our way back from a long trip and as soon as we came in the place was dirty, shabby, and very crammed. The staff all looked dead, were very impolite, VERY rude, especially one woman who gave me a ton of attitude. I never want to come back here again and I advise you guys to do the same. We ordered three Crips Burritos, and we repeated ourselves at the register, and ended up getting only two. When I came up to confront the woman she looked at me and extremely snobbily said: "Y'all got rung up for only two, if you want another you're going to have to purchase it sweetheart." I was infuriated. Has she heard of customer service? I asked for three Burritos MORE than once, they need to clean their ears out. They also overcharged for sour cream and ranch, I have never been charged for ranch or sour cream at any place, not even in Seattle. When we asked if they could possibly mix the ranch and sour cream for us in one cup she gave me an openmouthed look and said, "No, I can't do that, we can give it to you separate and once it's on the tray you can do whatever you want with it." Is it so hard to pour two dressings into one cup? If they put customers first, they would actually get higher ratings. They defiantly need to Google customer service and actually learn a thing or two. read more

Food is always good...but it is very disturbing while sitting in the drive thru to see how filthy the place is. The windows are SOOOO dirty and the ceiling and entire kitchen area looks...well, nasty! There have been a few friendly employees but overall, it is not the case. I've never been inclined to write a negative review about any restaurant, given that I've worked in fast food before and I know what it's like, but the service I received here deserves one. I initially went through the drive thru, not sure of what I wanted as I had never been to taco time (nor do i plan on going back for that matter). I decided I wanted a chicken quesadilla, however, being allergic to tomatoes I previously asked if there was anything else on the quesadilla, and they clarified to me that there was only chicken and cheese. So I ordered it and drove off not thinking about it until I got home. Once I got home I whipped out my quesadilla, eager to take a bite, when I noticed there were in fact tomatoes all over it. No big deal I thought, just a misunderstanding (as I said, I've worked numerous fast food jobs, it happens sometimes). So I drive back to taco time and walked inside with my quesadilla and explained to the lady who had previously helped me that I couldn't eat the quesadilla because of the tomatoes, which is why I asked what came on it originally. Instead of apologizing and quickly fixing the issue, she claimed that I had never asked what was on the quesadilla, and that I should have read the sign. Even better, her manager came out and instead of trying to fix the problem, he agreed with her and told me it was my fault too. I was caught off guard because I didn't intend to go in to argue with them, I was just hungry and wanted to eat a quesadilla! After a few minutes they decided to make me another quesadilla, but continued to deny they were in the wrong, and told me it was my fault, and not theirs. In all of my years working fast food, the most important thing I've learned is that no matter the situation, the customer is ALWAYS right.
