I had no idea it also came with hash browns inside... total bonus and honestly had me drooling. My main squeeze got the fried chicken biscuit sandwich with gravy, and let's just say he didn't leave a single crumb behind. Kick-ass service, super friendly staff, and just an all-around great vibe. I didn't get a picture because I ate it right away but the burritos and other breakfast items here are creative. Waffle tacos, breakfast sandwiches piled high and priced nicely. But they are known for their breakfast burritos. I ordered the first choice (I forget the name) which is bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, cheese and your choice of sauce - please, please please choose gravy. I say that because they put the exact right amount of country gravy in the burrito so that we could eat it on the road without making a mess and the gravy was delicious. I can't imagine this burrito without gravy actually. It would just be a run-of-the-mill breakfast burrito. The gravy puts it over the top, way over the top as my new favorite. Egg is the primary ingredient and potatoes enhance it. The burrito was perfectly seasoned too. This is a burrito that you would never need to add hot sauce or salsa to every bite like most breakfast burritos. It took us a while of passing this place to finally stop, and I can absolutely confirm it is worth pulling over next time you're in Sandy. Not only are the prices amazing, the guy we've most often seen working the counter is so friendly, and the food is killer. The waffle tacos are so fun and a crazy bargain for a lot of food ($4 each and you could get easily get away with just eating one), and the breakfast burritos are PACKED with deliciousness. I've never really enjoyed breakfast burritos with potatoes in them because I find they get soggy quickly, but these guys have really cracked the code on keeping the potatoes crispy and delicious. read more

On our way to a weekend hike, we stopped at this food cart pod in Sandy. Breakfast in the Hood was happening, with folks waiting for their food, good smells coming out of the cart, and a smiling employee making conversation. We ordered the 'Cross Country' sandwich (mushrooms, spinach, onion, tomato, eggs, cheddar) and the 'Binder' burrito (eggs, onion, mushrooms, spinach, tomato, potato, cheddar). Both came out with a short wait and were tasty. Their menu has a few other vegetarian options and one vegan burrito that I'd like to try. They also have a drink menu including mimosas! Some outdoor seating like a picnic table, and a small covered area at the other end of the pod. But mostly folks take food from here to their car for the road. What stood out was the staff - in addition to making conversation and cracking jokes, they gave me a complimentary piece of bacon for my dog to enjoy. So sweet! read more

I've been here 3 times and would normally be here more regularly if I lived closer. Alas, because it's a ways away-- I always stop by to treat myself to a wonderful breakfast. The breakfast burrito is our family's favorite. Fresh, hot ingredients cooked perfectly with the best condiments combinations. Service is always excellent. Never had a problem with ordering or receiving items. Honestly, this place is fantastic and if you haven't yet - definitely stop by. It is a food truck-- so outside seating/ standing, but it does have other food trucks nearby and a picnic style seating on the side. Cons: Parking is limited and watch out for traffic. Driver's are a bit fast here since it's a busy street. read more

Food came out super fast and oh so warm. Ordered the vegan burrito and holy cow! Tofu scramble, house made sausage, and breakfast potatoes were perfect and so tasty! Wow! I'm so glad this food cart exists! My husband and I were driving from Portland to Bend, by way of Highway 26 and through Sandy, OR and near Wy'East. As we were traveling through the rain was in full-force, but was grateful that this cart was still open in these conditions. And, I haven't had a good veggie burrito in a really, really long time, but this place was off the charts, and had veggie sausage in it, avocado, etc and it was just warm and perfect. Okay, so this one was a completely spontaneous stop. I was on my way to mount hood for a hike and I see this adorable food cart set up. I could not pass it up and I am so glad I didn't.
