    Bacon cheeseburger
    Tom B.

First time in. Vintage diner decor. Somewhat run down Tried the 1/3 lb. bacon cheeseburger on GF bun add fries and drink Burger was OK. Patty was bland and needed either a better sear or more aggressive seasoning. Fries were OK Was offered fry sauce. Squeeze container had old sauce all over opening. Kinda gross. Out of nostalgia my drink choice was Mountain Dew dispensed from a gun I assume. Tasted different than bottled Not a bad experience, could have been better

    Two happy customers!

Called to order and got delivery. Great customer service. The cheeseburgers are old fashioned and great. They have a large menu and everything I have had has been great. They even accommodated a single patty for my dogs!

I had the best cheeseburger I think I've ever had. The meat patties were thick and delicious good fries

We decided it would be a good idea to fill our tummies with some lunch before getting to camp and having to set everything up. The lady running it is pretty friendly, though she was out of quite a lot of things on the menu sadly (I couldn't get the sweet potato fries or the flavor of sauce I wanted... jeez). Pricing was reasonable, especially for canned soda and bottled water (just a buck!). I noticed as she was preparing that the Mac n cheese was just frozen Stoffers... lol. And the sauces are just Cattlemen's, but on the menu they've been "rebranded" as the food truck's own thing. Sorta lame/lazy but honestly I can't hate too much on her for that; the world is tough right now, so if she can just repackage yummy prepared food for others and make a decent living, more power to her. Everything tasted good ultimately. The wait time for preparation was acceptable. But my pulled pork sandwich was decidedly lukewarm. Dunno why. Could've used a lot more cabbage. There were a couple of tables with umbrellas around outdoors to lounge and eat, which was nice. The owner even wandered over while we were eating to ask how everything was.

It was fresh, perfectly cooked, and some of the best we've had in recent memory. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. Our only feedback has nothing to do with the food, the service or the experience: the merchandise was really cool and would love to rock it in SoCal because I love a Sasquatch-themed spot, but we'd love to see more options in XXL for us bigger guys. But I imagine they got scooped up already. We'd definitely come back and highly recommend this place!

They have an ample outdoor parking lot with access to handicap parking spots, so no need to look around for street parking. As you enter the building form the main road you are greeted by a friendly group of staff, the staff seem like family members. Nice touch. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. They two large restrooms toward the back of the building. The interior has a rustic vibe to it. As far as seating you have long family style tables, a few two person tables ands some very creative seating arrangements, I enjoyed the two tall back chairs with a tiny table that faced the main room, also in the back room they have ample seating for more privacy for larger family groups. First come first serve on the indoor seating, if you like they also have ample benches around the outside of the building. One other great touch throughout the building you will find Sasquatch like decor. The menu and food, lots to choose from, to long to list but we focused on the halibut-3pc with a side, ( the halibut pieces are large) we chose the Rosemary fries (a must try), the were amazing and the halibut, Wow it was amazing, the crust or batter was not greasy, great tasting and not dense, it was a perfect blend. Just a tip, if you would like sliced lemons please ask, they are not served with your food. We also shared a bowl of chowder, the chowder was also a treat, it was loaded with veggies and protein, great tasting. I think we might have found our new rest stop.

After asking for a sample of the clam chowder which he should have offered after I asked how thin of a consistency it was. Didn't ask if my order was to-go, so he was miffed when I asked him to put it on a container. The Tidal Boar'd oysters were so salty, they were almost inedible. I only ate them , because they were $4 each. They were beautiful, but akin to a salt lick. I don't know if that was the trout roe, or what. Needed way less salt, more acidity, and the heat wasn't there at all. Visual stunning, but horrendously salty. The 3 pc rockfish was pretty good. Clean, , fresh, and flakey. Seasoned well. Good fries, too. The clam chowder was different. Potatoes cooked through, full of flavor. All that for $42+tip. Might be back, if the server from yesterday isn't there. Might not be back at all, too many places to get the same thing with way better service. Never informed we ordering that I wouldn't be able to take the oysters to go. Don't know if that's posted. Good fish, indifferent service. Nary a thank you , whatsoever. Sucky service.

The pulled pork and veggies without the BBQ sauce is bland, with the sauce it's sweet, tangy, and has a tiny kick, but it needs salt to bring out all these flavors and to help balance to overall combination. The Mac 'n' Cheese was also missing salt, making it noodles in cheese sauce. Sadly the cheese sauce was also broke, which has a less pleasant feeling in the mouth. The flavor is stepped up if you get a bite of the bread crumbs on top (which has salt and garlic), sadly there is not enough crumbs to spread the salt to the entire dish. The Parmesan Truffle fries smelled wonderfully like truffle, but weren't too strong on the flavor. So that balance was nice, but they too were lacking salt. Service was good, and the woman running the truck was kind, friendly, and easy to talk to which helps the overall experience. Oh I should add I removed rice and such from the pulled pork and she was very kind offering a number of other options. :) Overall Salt could possibly raise this up a star. I had others in my family taste everything to ensure I wasn't missing anything, and there was consensus on the salt. So we shall give it another shot down the road.
