    Bacon cheeseburger
    Tom B.

First time in. Vintage diner decor. Somewhat run down Tried the 1/3 lb. bacon cheeseburger on GF bun add fries and drink Burger was OK. Patty was bland and needed either a better sear or more aggressive seasoning. Fries were OK Was offered fry sauce. Squeeze container had old sauce all over opening. Kinda gross. Out of nostalgia my drink choice was Mountain Dew dispensed from a gun I assume. Tasted different than bottled Not a bad experience, could have been better

    Two happy customers!

Called to order and got delivery. Great customer service. The cheeseburgers are old fashioned and great. They have a large menu and everything I have had has been great. They even accommodated a single patty for my dogs!

Love the breakfast! They have the best biscuits and gravy in town! Good burgers too - always freshly made to order.

I'm not giving up on this food cart! I will come back to give it another try…read more When I saw smash burgers on the side of the truck we had to stop! This cart has an awesome menu. I was exciting when I saw everything they're offering. We stopped in for lunch, mid day, and we were the only people around. We were greeted with a friendly hello and placed our orders. We decided on a smash burger, a spicy chicken sandwich, fried pickle chips and cheese curds. We waited about 15 minutes for our food and decided to eat at the nearby picnic tables. It looked delicious... sadly, the smash burger was only lukewarm and the cheese wasn't even slightly melted. The bun was a bit stale and there wasn't much flavor at all. The chicken sandwich was warmer but just not very flavorful and had the same stale bun. The pickle chips have a tempra type batter, which seemed like it would be delicious, but they tasted under done. The cheese curds were melty on the inside but again, the batter seemed under done and soggy. We're going to come back to this cart at some point because they have all the makings for an amazing meal. I think maybe this was just an off day. We live nearby and I'll update after our next visit.

Best burger in town. Full stop. I'll come back to that! We came back with my parents, sister, and…read morethe kids!!!! Everyone was so happy with all the delicious food! Let's get to the food! Smash burger = grand slam, touch down, goooooooal all in one! It's really good. The bun was toasted, yum, but what I appreciated the. Just, and what makes this burger stand out from others in town is the fact that the bottom bun wasn't an oily soggy mess! In fact, even after taking pictures there was still some crispy to the toasting of the bun! The toppings were right in, and it had a good amount on it. This was my favorite thing, but we did order more! The cheese and sauce on the Philly were out of this world, and they slice the meat just right so it cooks evenly. The fresh peppers on their add a nice contrast in the flavor. One bite is a great explosion of flavor, that sauce though, mmmmmmm. The fried chicken sandwich is a beautiful balance of sauce, chicken, and veggies, with a nice toasted bun! We've had the grilled one, and it was amazing, this one right here though, has a beautiful fry with super moist chicken! So yummy! The fried Oreos!!! HOLY CRAP! If you are an Oreo milk dunker buckle up because these are gonna knock your socks off! You don't have to dunk! The fried process makes them perfectly soggy (as though the perfect dunk just happened). Then there's a really good balance of fried bread, and Oreo filling! Explosion of sweet rich flavor! Super rich, make sure to have someone to share with. The Mac 'n' Cheese everyone had different personal feeling about the smokiness. One says too Smokey, it was just right for me, and one said not Smokey enough. So smokiness is personal preference. The flavor was good, regardless of how we felt about the smokiness level. We all also had the same drawback on the Mac 'n' Cheese and that was that the cheese sauce broke, leaving a gritty, not so great texture in our mouth. So we would recommend fine tuning the sauce, or process of making the sauce ti ensure it doesn't break. PS the baby didn't care she loved it! Ultimately one thing being off is not worth losing a star. Especially when the service, the space, and ALL of the other food was on point! I can't wait to watch this spot grow, and fine tune! They are amazing people, serving up some amazing food, and definitely putting their heart, and a LOT of passion into it!

DEAD BUG IN DRINK AND MORE…read more I've lived in this city for most of my life, I've been here about 3 times and it's always been alright until I got the taquito plate with a horchata, I ended up getting someone elses food which was fine. I went back and told them i got the wrong food and if i could get my order, the lady was unapologetic and just handed me the correct order, the lid of the drink wasn't all the way on and some spilled on me and the inside of the car, when I did a double look on the drink I saw there was a dead fruit fly in the drink (inside of the lid). I went back and showed it to the employee (same one who was unapologetic) and I asked for a comp and just to take the untouch food and drink to dispose of it. the response was "you already paid for it." And that was it. I didn't argue, but she asked me if i wanted another horchata and i said "no. I dont want any drink or food." I then ask if she wants me to throw the food away.. she just walked away from me. So I threw it away on my way out of the building. Maybe I got the short end of the stick and caught them at a bad time, I get it, I can sympathize but this is ridiculous. I'll just call my bank. Update: the bank told me they need the phone number and name of manager and they'll do a claim.. so i called.. no the story doesnt end here. I called and asked for a manager (julie was the one who picked up) and she told me she was the one who was helping me in the first place and she's the one in charge. I told her I just wanted a refund, she told me it's not her fault, she gave me the right food and it was not her responsibility. I told her once again I just want my money back and I'm not even mad at her. I apperantly annoyed her enough for her to tell me im keeping her away from her customers and just to come in so she can refund me but also bring in the food that I purchased..which I had to remind her I threw it away in the restaurant when she walked away from me. She hung up on me and I drove back once more, she was very annoyed and told me that once again I'm holding her up and that this isnt her fault, and when she went in the back to refund me she was talking about me in Spanish to her coworker.. I asked for Julie's name (at the time i didnt know) and then when she gave me the proof for the refund while giving me her name, she proceeded to be more irritated with me and repeated herself once more how it's not her fault then raised her voice saying "SIGN HERE. HERE!" just to sign the receipt for the refund. I signed it and she just walked away. I'm not mad at the fact she gave me the wrong order. Im not mad how the lid wasn't even all the way on because I wouldn't have found the dead bug and I'm not even mad at the fact I found a dead bug in my drink (though I am disgusted). I'm upset at the lack of responsibility and hospitality of the service. I never said anything hurtful, i never raised my voice or made sly comments and STILL got treated that way.. so if THAT'S whose in charge, I worry for this restaurant and I hope no one goes through this the way I did.
