Heading up the mountain and need yummy food? Gyro Grill is the perfect stop on your way. I got the Gyro Fries, and they were so good, perfect for sharing or alone if you're ready for a challenge. The fries are hand-cut and perfect for all the meat, veggies, and sauce. The person working was so nice and got my food done quickly. As for the area, it has plenty of parking and chairs if you want to eat there. It is also right on the way to Mt. Hood from Boring and Sandy. While I didn't get one, they also have fruity bubble teas with fruit boba, which I know I will be grabbing next time. Almost forgot, there was also a sign saying they have gluten-free gyros, so if you can't have wheat but miss gyros (as I often do), they've got you covered. read more

Amazing flavors and service! We both got chicken dishes: Chicken Platter & Chicken Gyro. All the veggies were fresh and crispy, elevating the flavors with the warm chicken. Chickens may not fly, but this garlic sauce battering the chicken made our taste buds fly away. This lady truly takes so much pride in her cooking and serves from the heart. I don't eat meat, but I have family that swears by the Gyros. My go-to order is the falafel wrap, with everything. It's delicious, all the flavors are perfectly balanced and the falafel is fresh and hot. It's also easy to eat while you're driving. Just peel down a little foil on one end. Very compactly wrapped, no spillage. As one reviewer said, try the garlic fries. Mellow, yet strong garlic flavor. And the pumpkin bread pudding is delicious! I think this is my first review lol... at least in a decade. I was on my way to the Bigfoot museum and needed a quick bite. Stopped at a closed pizza place (thankfully) and then saw a food truck fly by me so I turned around. I was absolutely pleasantly surprised... VERY good gyro! The meat was tender and high quality, the flavors balanced and just overall tasty and quick. The owner was also very polite and in great spirits which always makes food taste better. Stopped in here for a bite and blown away by the quality and flavor. I got the bulgar lentil wrap vegan style and it was warm and hearty and flavorful, very garlicky!! I should have taken pics but we were so hungry that we just tucked in. One friend i was with got the falafel wrap and said it was hands down no question the best she's ever had. Not dry at all! Another friend had a mixed meat plate including hummus and pita bread and it was perfectly smothered in delicious sauces. We were all planning on only eating half and saving some for later but it was all too delicious to set aside. Take the napkin, you'll need it. Every time we come here she is always nice, fast, and makes godlike food. Every time we show up the food is sooooo good. Normally we get the Gyro salad with extra meat. Today we got the combination plate, and gyro nachos. We loved the garlic chicken, and it may be my fiance's new fave. I got the gyro nachos, and oh man. Those fried pits chips with that combination of flavors is amazing. Her lemonade is also delicious, we have had the lavender, the mint, and will have to try more soon. Great food carts have come to Boring. This place was formerly in Sandy (see prior reviews) but is now in Boring, next to the Boring Post Office. We both got gyros and split a side of garlic fries. All excellent. The owner is pretty friendly and said that in summer she is there until 7:30 but since fall got dark earlier, she tends to leave by 6:30 pm. Hours are pretty correct on Google Maps. Also next door is an espresso cart open until 3 pm, and across the street in the Big Apple parking lot is a Mexican food cart. read more

Wonderful food, lovely owner. We went to Sandy as advertised in Yelp and found this cart was no longer at this location. After finding her on Facebook she was kind enough to stay open for us until we got to her new location in Boring just down the highway. I had a delicious and generous falafel plate with savory hummus and fresh veggies and my husband had a very large chicken sandwich which he said was great. Stopped at this little gyro food cart in boring oregon the other day.. I got a lamb gyro, garlic fries and a iced mint lemonade. The lamb gyro had really good flavor and was very fresh. The lamb meat had some of the best flavor I have had in a gyro except for a few in Portland. I wished there would of been more meat on it though. Maybe I should of asked for double the meat. The tiziki sauce was had good flavor. Would of liked a spicy sauce also. I like a hot sauce on my gyros. The garlic fries where fresh hand cut fries. The where good. Rom's truck is spotlessly clean inside. Her food is savory and unbelievably authentic. I was able to order a GF pita, and she offered to replace the traditional tzatziki sauce with her dairy-free tahini. I want to take a bath in her tahini: Perfectly bybalanced, smooth and tart. Rom piled on fresh lettuce, schwarma that not only contained but tasted like lamb and beef, and offered onions and tomatoes. I also ordered falafels to go. I may have to buy a box of them. Deliciously flavoured, crunchy on the outside and with a buttery smooth inside that melted in the mouth, these were the stars of the day. Well, maybe. Mint lemonade...haven't had anything so delicious since i was in israel. Not too sweet, fresh mint, perfection! It's a bit of a drive from where i live, but i cannot wait to return. This is a must stop food truck on your way through Sandy. It's very popular so at peak meal times you might have a 10 minute wait. This was an unexpected and delightful find! I lived in Greece for 3 years and am always on the search for good Mediterranean food. This was some of the best I have had, factoring in food truck/Sandy, OR! My daughter was here visiting from out of state and we had to go back twice during her week long visit, it was that delicious! The proprietor was so sweet and the mint lemonade was the icing on the cake! However, Rom (or whoever the owner is!) please let us know where to find you now that you aren't in the Sandy food truck court any longer!! I was so sad to go there on Saturday, only to find you had gone! I got something else from another vendor, but it did not hit the spot...now I will be forever sad when I stop by, not being able to get my favorite gyro nachos!
