    Great menu

So happy to have tried Gyro Time!! The falafel was just the way it should be- crispy on the outside with just the right amount of spices inside. The tahini sauce was delicious too. The other toppings included peppers, let & tomatoes I loved how the menu had so many choices & the cashier was very nice. Good choice at Sandlandia!!

I am so happy to have found this food cart! The food is incredible and fresh! The young man working at the window is very friendly and fast. The food is excellent!!

    Look at all that lamb!

Wow! This new cart is simply wonderful. As a first time customer I had to go with a Gyro. Let me say first that I've had quite a few in my days but this one was special and for 10 dollars quite the bargain. It was not only huge, but full of delicious tender lamb and quality ingredients from the feta, to tzatziki sauce, to the olives and an amazing fresh pita. You definitely need to eat this with a fork for about 10 bites before you can get down far enough to get a grip on that pita bread lol. I will certainly be back to try everything else they offer. I also want to add that the cart itself was impeccably clean and the lady and man working were very friendly and kind.

I got a tri-meat wrap and for 12 dollars it was about the size of my arm!

The atmosphere was lively and I loved the industrial, modern decor. I went on a busy Friday night and was sat right at my reservation time. Our server was personable and friendly. They had a small mocktail selection with creative options. I went with the "worth a chai", which was spicy, sweet, and tangy. The tasting menu was $75 each for two people and we got a total of 9 dishes and left full and with leftovers. Not one dish wasn't delicious and I enjoyed how each dish had an unexpected flavor or textural element to keep things interesting. All the ingredients felt fresh and the dishes were bright in color and taste. Despite the larger quantity of food, the meal overall felt well- balanced, healthy, and not too heavy or decadent. I keep thinking about the hamachi crudo that came with this amazing smoky eggplant that complemented the vinaigrette on the fish perfectly. The radicchio salad was addictingly good with the fruity burst of sweetness from the cherries. The hummus is insanely rich and pairs well with the thick, fluffy pita. I could keep going on about each dish, but these were my absolute standouts. I especially appreciated the timing of the dishes. New dishes came out right as we were finishing the last. I will be coming back here to try more of the menu.

It ended up being a great spot. The ambiance is great and the bartender was pleasant. They have a seasonal menu, which assures me that we're going to get the freshest produce possible. We started with the Labneh & Confit Butternut Squash. It was fine, but not my favorite dish of the night. The labneh was more like Greek yogurt than cheese, which isn't a bad thing, but I would have liked a little more saltiness. The Harissa Spice Shrimp, on the other hand, was fantastic. Definitely the standout item we actually ordered. The Baked Eggplant was good too, although it didn't quite wow me. I think there was some mix up, as we were first served the Roasted Eggplant Dip. We flagged the server down to say it wasn't what we ordered, but they let us keep it. Boy were we happy about this! It was the best dish of the night (and a must reorder). The pita to go with the Labneh and the Dip was excellent too. Piping hot and just right.

Staff did not check in with us at all, and we had to flag them down to get our bill. The kebab plate only had one skewer, which seemed pretty light. To be as fair as possible in my evaluation of the two carts, I decided to order the exact same thing to eat - except for the sauce. The giant falafel suj was super tasty and the spicy garlic sauce was the perfect complement to all the falafels that were wrapped up in a gigantic flour tortilla. Also filled with lettuce, tomatoes, tzatziki, onions and that oh-so-delicious spicy garlic sauce, the falafel suj hit the spot. Very filling! I just can't believe all that goodness stuffed into that huge tortilla. Oregon City Brewing offers indoor seating with public restrooms and a nice adjacent parking lot as well as a covered outdoor seating area. A full range of beers and ciders are also available. I've been to other Mediterranean food carts but Alani's two locations were top notch with freshly fried falafels and fresh veggies, making Alani my new go-to for Mediterranean food. Next time, I'll be ordering something different, especially after reading the reviews of other things on their menu. With a wide variety of choices on the menu, there's more than enough to bring me back again and again. Thanks, Alani!

We were warmly greeted when we arrived. The menu is a little confusing for vegetarians, but we figured it out. Basically you can pick whatever is on the menu and choose what protein you want on it. We really wanted falafel however it's no longer available. They use a pea protein instead. Minus a star here as I think the pea protein while tasty, really changes the dishes we had. I had a shawarma wrap, SCW a gyro and we also got an order of hummus which came with pita. The food itself was good. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The tomatoes stood out for me as better than usual. The pea protein was tasty but added a different flavor profile than I was really looking for. When you want falafel it just doesn't taste the same. The hummus was good as was the pita bread. The service was great. I enjoyed the meal but I would not seek it out again simply because of the pea protein option. Of course it's great they offer a meat substitute but it wasn't something I would seek out for Mediterranean food.
