Falafel Saj
Amelia R.

Alani Mediterranean is located at the corner 14 food cart pods in Oregon city. I ordered the falafel saj. It is large and definitely shareable!! The wait was around 20 -25 mins for my meal. I had them put the spicy garlic sauce on and I didn't taste the sauce at all. The wrap was pretty dry despite that ordering two different sauces on it. I feel like the falafel lacked flavor. My husband had the lamb saj and that had more flavorful as the meat came with additional sauce. I would try it here again, just would order More sauce on the side.

Tried out the new spot in Canby and I will 100% be back! The chicken fries with the garlic sauce are absolutely amazing. They were quick to make and piping hot. Coworker had the gyro and said it was amazing as well! The Oregon City Brewery has lots of seating so come check out Alani!

The Combo Saj - so delicious
Brian M.

So many options for grub, but I usually get the chicken and lamb combo saj with spicy garlic sauce. It's like a super long burrito, but different. The staff has always been friendly when visiting the cart. The location is at Oregon City Brewery, so there is a ton of seating, indoor and outdoor. Tell them I sent ya! You wont get anything but maybe a confused face looking back at you.

Good food cart to grab some Mediterranean food. The wait wasn't long. I ordered the beef shawarma plate and it came with hummus, choice of sauce, rice, dolma, salad, and a pita which was a great opportunity to try a little bit of everything. There's enough tables and spaces to enjoy your food.

Delicious food. I have tried almost everything at this point. My go to is Chicken Shawarma gyro with humus! Try it! You won't be disappointed. If you want to try something sweet try their Baklava as well. The owner is also the nicest man. Always working with you to make your food exactly how you want it or better.

Ample and delicious.

The $9.99 lamb gyro plate was great! The hummus is very creamy (not cheap King Harvest brand) and the Tahini was rich. The gyro is succulent with the right amount of char, the green sauce topper was delish. The warmed pita bread was far from stale. While the hot sauce and salad dressing were tasty, the cheap Iceberg lettuce was the only negative. Service was polite and about normal turnaround time. There are so many Middle Eastern options in the area that it's difficult to decipher one from the next. This cart seems solid.

Tomatoes, way overpriced and squishy, nasty dollar store olives with pimento tzatziki little to no flavor
Krissy H.

So many choices with food carts these days they have this Greek here and a cart across the street at corner 14 I suggest going to corner 14 as my food did not taste overly fresh and delicious as expected tomatoes were overripe and squishy, tzatziki was little to no flavor in the olives, assuming they bought them at the dollar store. These were not Greek olives they were the tiny nasty cheap ones with pimento in them.

Huge beef wrap

Great food and service. The wraps are huge about 14" long for only $9.99. Add an extra $3 and you'll get a side order of crinkle fries and a 12 oz drink. The wraps are made using fresh ingredients and the service was fast and friendly.

Incredible! Filling, delicious, beautifully prepared. Chicken was cooked perfectly, portions are generous and the proprietor was nicely communicative.

We did catering from Alani for an event at Intel. Let me tell you, it was the best We would defently order again from him. The owner is so nice and have his touch on the taste. Thanks a lot for the great food

"Beef shawarma wrap" & dirty crocs
Ahmed A.

Had the shawarma wrap today (beef) and the wrap was a HEALTHY 14in; couldn't complain about price for portion whatsoever. Had my expectations on how the wrap was gonna taste like, sure, but Damn.... DAMN... this wrap ain't it. No flavor. No authenticity. Just the bare minimum Crunchwrap supreme rolled into a "beef shawarma wrap". Tragic. Hopefully the chicken one's better when I come back again

Tried this cart a few times and flavors just aren't there. Not bc enough spices and seasoning. The side dishes were meh. I only had lamb.

I went on a busy Friday night and was sat right at my reservation time. Our server was personable and friendly. They had a small mocktail selection with creative options. I went with the "worth a chai", which was spicy, sweet, and tangy. The tasting menu was $75 each for two people and we got a total of 9 dishes and left full and with leftovers. Not one dish wasn't delicious and I enjoyed how each dish had an unexpected flavor or textural element to keep things interesting. All the ingredients felt fresh and the dishes were bright in color and taste. Despite the larger quantity of food, the meal overall felt well- balanced, healthy, and not too heavy or decadent. I keep thinking about the hamachi crudo that came with this amazing smoky eggplant that complemented the vinaigrette on the fish perfectly. The radicchio salad was addictingly good with the fruity burst of sweetness from the cherries. The hummus is insanely rich and pairs well with the thick, fluffy pita. I could keep going on about each dish, but these were my absolute standouts. I especially appreciated the timing of the dishes. New dishes came out right as we were finishing the last. I will be coming back here to try more of the menu.

This little spot is truly a hidden gem--tucked behind Valley Wine Merchants on College Street. It took us a minute to find, and for a second we thought we were in the wrong place, but once you step inside you're met with a quaint, cozy eatery serving up delicious Greek food. I ordered the Gyro Salad Bowl with chicken skewers, and I was very impressed. The portion was generous, the ingredients were incredibly fresh, and everything was seasoned perfectly. You could tell it was made right there on the spot. Someone in my group ordered the baba ghanoush, and it looked amazing--I'll definitely be getting that next time I'm in town. The menu is on the smaller side, but what they do offer is clearly well thought-out and very well executed. Prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The only downside is that it can be a little tricky to find, and the space is quite small--so it's not ideal for large groups. But for a tasty, fresh, well-prepared meal in a charming setting, Lemon & Olive is absolutely worth a visit. I'd definitely return and try more of their menu!

My son treated me to flavors I've never experienced before. I didn't take pictures but it looks like there are plenty here already. We ate: Lamb Kabobs-tender meat delicious flavor. Something wrapped in Grape Leaves served with a dipping sauce-so mouth watering pleasant to every taste bud I wanted more, more, more! They serve a large, tortilla style, bread, the name escapes me, which I was able to use a variety of dips on, one a garlic mixture for dipping, I must have more! Each dip had its own flavor, cannot tell you what they were but lemon was used here and there, as well as other exotic spices. Every single thing I ate there opened with one completely satisfying flavor, and often changed to a secondary flavor that was equal too, or better than the first. Yum. The waitress was very informative and the service was efficient. The restaurant is decorated in a Middle Eastern style and it was lovely. I had their coffee. Now that was eye opening. The service they used was fancy and I truly developed an appreciation for that style-less is more, and perfect for the drive ahead. Oh! The Baklava- yes please. We had that later in the evening as there was no way to eat more at the end of the meal. Over all, I will say this: It is a restaurant I will go back too. My son treated me to a delicious meal with a man I love dearly.

The cashier handed us some menus and we sat down, however the prices on the menu were crossed off so I had to get up and take a picture of the menu on the wall to get the updated prices. We got the hummus plate which came with their puffy bread. Lamb shawarma plate, Greek salad with lamb gyro meat, and a lentil soup. The portions were very generous. Lentil soup was decent. It tasted clean, but lacked a bit in flavor. The hummus was lighter in color than I'm used to, but it was very smooth and delicious. Paired with their thin, crispy but also fluffy puffy bread, it was really good! Greek salad was a good Greek salad. But the lamb meat was great. Even my wife who doesn't really like lamb thought it was really flavorful. It really stood out. Same with the lamb shawarma plate. The lamb was the star, and paired with the tahini sauce and the rice, it was great. Rice itself was decent. Overall, we really enjoyed the meal. I'd definitely be a regular if I was local.
