Literally a grab and go. Super convenient stop and gyros were delicious! Meaty and tasty! Large parking lot, large enough to even fit our travel trailer.

Lovely staff, yummy food and good price for really big portions! Really glad to find this gem on our roadtrip. They have nice big tables outside as well as indoor seatings. First time trying baklava, it was so flaky and quite the sweet treat!

Clean establishment. Good ingredients. Un fotunately it was very bland. I love a good gyro but the flavor was missing. Pickles? Pickles do not belong on a gyro. The tziki sauce was missing the cucumber. The chicken samosas were good. Perfectly cooked, but also a little bland for my taste

Highly recommend! Very delicious for the price, friendly customer service and clean atmosphere .

When a gyro craving takes hold, this is my go-to place. My standard order is the lamb gyro. Absolutely get the spicy garlic sauce (no added charge). This is the only gyro place I've been where they dress it like a burger with lettuce, tomato, onions, PICKLES, and tzatziki sauce. I find the pickles weird, so have them omitted now when I order. Pleasantly easy parking in a large lot just off SW Boones Ferry Road. There are a number of tables, but the space is just functional, not comfortable. On my first visit, I had a little trouble with the credit card terminal (which ended up displaying in Chinese), and by hitting random buttons added me to their mailing list. Not such a bad thing in the end since I now receive monthly (or so) email coupons for $3 off my order. Getting a large gyro for under $10 seems like a miracle these days. But, as the name on the business says, best to grab it and eat by lake in the Commons nearby.

Excited to try another local Gyro place. It's clean and large inside, service is good. I was excited to see the grape leaf gyro on the menu as this is my favorite vegetarian option at another local gyro joint. However, the dolmas were really disappointing. The hummus and fries were great. My partner got a chicken salad which he said was fair. Everything else was good and this place could have been a 4-5 but the dolmas let them down.

We were able to try a wide variety of dishes, and every single one was exceptional. I have dietary restrictions (no onions or garlic), and the kitchen and staff were incredibly accommodating. They prepared separate versions of several dishes for me without hesitation, and I never felt like I was getting a lesser experience. It's rare to find a restaurant that can accommodate food sensitivities so thoughtfully while still delivering incredible flavor. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish, and the service was impeccable. The staff was warm, attentive, and made our birthday celebration feel special without ever being overbearing. Everyone in our group left talking about how amazing the food was. We couldn't have asked for a better meal or a better overall experience. Mediterranean Exploration Company has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorite Portland restaurants, and we can't wait to come back.

We weren't too hungry and ordered 3 dishes to share - the hamachi crudo, baked feta with Blackberries, and braised Greek greens. The service was pretty fast, we received our food within 15 mins. The hamachi crudo was tasty with fresh fish that balanced well with the yummy smoked eggplant, tamarind soy, black harissa mayo, and crispy ginger. The baked feta was the heartiest dish, it came out with piping hot pitas to dip into the creamy savory/sweet feta and Blackberries. The braised Greek greens felt like the most basic dish out of the 3, collard greens cooked with a lemon/olive oil finish, which tasted as described but not exciting enough to order again. Just as the name implies, this restaurant is a nice way to try Mediterranean dishes for those who don't eat it often. Admittedly, the cuisine isn't in our top favorites, but all the dishes were executed well, true to their description, and made for some fun bites.

The young lady at the counter gave possibly the worst service I have experienced in a long time. She gave no acknowledgment, no recommendation, seemed bothered that we were there, no response when we said thank you multiple times. ZERO ENGAGEMENT! The place is also dirty and appears unkept. The outside seating area has trash and debris from the previous day...we were there right after open... needs to be swept. Doesn't appear like it has been pressure washed in a while either. Planters are smeared with dirt, concrete stained with food buildup and tables need a bath. The inside is just as bad, which starts at the front door. Front glass looks awful...smears, dirt, grime, and streaks galore. There are also signs peeling and tape residue left from signage that used to be present. Soda machine and bathrooms were also beneath expectations. You can't have a "thank you for supporting small business" sign if you aren't doing your part. I would love to support you in the future, BUT service and cleanliness must improve.

This little spot is truly a hidden gem--tucked behind Valley Wine Merchants on College Street. It took us a minute to find, and for a second we thought we were in the wrong place, but once you step inside you're met with a quaint, cozy eatery serving up delicious Greek food. I ordered the Gyro Salad Bowl with chicken skewers, and I was very impressed. The portion was generous, the ingredients were incredibly fresh, and everything was seasoned perfectly. You could tell it was made right there on the spot. Someone in my group ordered the baba ghanoush, and it looked amazing--I'll definitely be getting that next time I'm in town. The menu is on the smaller side, but what they do offer is clearly well thought-out and very well executed. Prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The only downside is that it can be a little tricky to find, and the space is quite small--so it's not ideal for large groups. But for a tasty, fresh, well-prepared meal in a charming setting, Lemon & Olive is absolutely worth a visit. I'd definitely return and try more of their menu!

Also filled with lettuce, tomatoes, tzatziki, onions and that oh-so-delicious spicy garlic sauce, the falafel suj hit the spot. Very filling! I just can't believe all that goodness stuffed into that huge tortilla. Oregon City Brewing offers indoor seating with public restrooms and a nice adjacent parking lot as well as a covered outdoor seating area. A full range of beers and ciders are also available.
