A hole in the wall, but really a convenient store, to get some gyros. Don't expect much as far as ambiance, but if you're on the go, it's a decent place to pick up gyros. Unfortunately, they ran out of beef while we were there so we got the lamb gyro and loaded fries with chicken. The fries tasted fine, but the chicken was nothing special. The lamb gyro were much tastier. They give you a nice portion of food. They forgot our order of regular fries so we had to remind them. They rushed it out in a timely manner.

First time here. And I'll definitely be back. Little spot inside of a market. I had the lamb gyro and it was filling and full of flavor. I like the big chunks of meat in it rather than thin slices of meat. Sauces that came with it were tasty as well. The baklava was just average. Other that that food was made fresh to order. Give it a try

My son treated me to flavors I've never experienced before. I didn't take pictures but it looks like there are plenty here already. We ate: Lamb Kabobs-tender meat delicious flavor. Something wrapped in Grape Leaves served with a dipping sauce-so mouth watering pleasant to every taste bud I wanted more, more, more! They serve a large, tortilla style, bread, the name escapes me, which I was able to use a variety of dips on, one a garlic mixture for dipping, I must have more! Each dip had its own flavor, cannot tell you what they were but lemon was used here and there, as well as other exotic spices. Every single thing I ate there opened with one completely satisfying flavor, and often changed to a secondary flavor that was equal too, or better than the first. Yum. The waitress was very informative and the service was efficient. The restaurant is decorated in a Middle Eastern style and it was lovely. I had their coffee. Now that was eye opening. The service they used was fancy and I truly developed an appreciation for that style-less is more, and perfect for the drive ahead. Oh! The Baklava- yes please. We had that later in the evening as there was no way to eat more at the end of the meal. Over all, I will say this: It is a restaurant I will go back too. My son treated me to a delicious meal with a man I love dearly.

Reviewing the menu, there were lots of yummy things to choose from but ultimately we both could not resist the Lamb shank. I'm sad I didn't take a picture of it. It was so tender and delicious. It came with perfect Basmati rice and a side of eggplant stew that was exquisite! I've never had eggplant stew and it was luscious. I dream to about it all night long. It was quiet, comfortable, music was great; songs we all know but with native instruments and flare. We had house red wine - not a big selection of alcohol, which is fine the food is and should be the star. Our sever (Sorry my old lady brain forgot his name) but the good looking bald guy(LOL) was nice and personable. It was such a great low key dining experience that just made the day even better. I highly recommend this cute place and we will be back- there are a lot more wonderful food to try!

My first impression as we entered here was: the AC was on, and I'm not ready for AC (yet), and the inside was too elegant, and empty. We waited awhile, when a staff appeared. We picked a seat outside, where the weather was pleasant and shady. I needed badly, to use the restroom, so I went back inside, only to be told it's outside. The mural on the walls, obscured the door to the restroom. But, there was no TP, no paper towel, and the trash was full. I had to use a toilet seat cover paper, for my TP, and went back to my seat, not happy with what I just did! I told my husband, who then told the staff, because HE need to use the restroom, too. (We've been gone all morning, this is now lunch hour). The staff gave water, menu and we ordered: The Lamb Shank. I love the eggplant stew! There's also a small salad with the Basmati rice. Also Chicken Kabob Mezza Platter with Pita bread. It was not until we're done eating, and ready to get up, did I notice there was cubed cucumber in the thaziki. But, it's got a very strong vinegar flavor, but I did like the hummus and the ghanoush. (When we eat at these places, we always pick the lamb shanks, btw). I had the other half, for my dinner tonight. The server was friendly, helpful and responsive. The atmosphere, was pleasant, and the photo taken of me, hubby thought I could pass as an Iraqi woman! LOL Thanks for the bag. We picked some crabapples, from down the street, there were 4-5 large trees ready for the pickin' from the sidewalk.

We tried their falafels, eggplant babaganush, lamb hummus; chicken kebabs; seasonal melon salad, salmon and chocolate pistachio icecream. the melon salad was refreshing. The pita's are very tasty. Kebabs were soft, the salmon along with the plating and the sauce and veggies was good. The drinks were great too! The old aged whiskey was perfect. We didn't have a reservation, but there's was room at the bar alongside the kitchen. That's always the best place to sit because it's like getting a show with dinner. Speaking of dinner, it was excellent. We started with a roasted eggplant dip served with a round, fluffy pita bread. So yummy. Next came falafel with tahina and green S'hug sauce, which gives it a spicy kick. The six falafel balls were light and airy, not dense and dry like lots of falafel we've had in the past. Finally, we ended with chicken shawarma, a wonderful confit chicken dish, nicely seasoned, sitting atop large pita pillow. We just folded it up and went from there. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. They suggest ordering two dishes per person, but you don't need to. Three dishes is plenty (even two) depending on what you get. We washed it down with a pilsner beer and homemade blackberry soda. The portions are generous. We'll definitely go back and sample several other dishes.

This was not cheap (but it is a good value!!), it was very good, and not as greasy as I remember. But that's probably a good thing! Putting the extra lime vinegar sauce on it really helps and helps me dig into that flavor that I miss- of and the crispy friend onion!!. i've only had Koshari one other time in the United States and it was in NYC, so I really love being able to have this here. I brought a large group and our food took a little while because I didn't understand the ordering or I would've ordered in advance. once our long wait was over ( we had nine people) we devoured the food! Everybody loved it whether they had Koshari or the Mac. I will also note that the impossible Koshari was an especially good deal - only$2 to add a vegan burger to the top of the koshari! they ran out of some of the drinks that we ordered and replaced them with nicer drinks. The folks were excellent, kind, and really took care of us! glad i'm not too far away- i'll be back! also, i'm not a night owl but if you are ... this is your spot!

Seven-spice chicken, crunchy toum-dressed slaw, and a double hit of that garlicky toum. Topped with a pile of fries, just like on the beaches of Beirut. Let's get some bite into it. But even before that you can smell what will hit you next a delicious taste of garlicky sauce. And the first bite confirmed that. A not-too-overpowering garlic taste, followed by the crunchy pickle the salty fries and the delicious chicken patty, makes it an outstanding burger with a really unique flavor profile! Well done. The crunchy fresh Cole slaw give it another layer of freshness. The hole burger is a smart composition. If I'll have to recommend something to. Ale or even better would be to put the slaw on top of the meat. With it being on the bottom half of the bun it makes the bun quickly early soggy but that's is or taking away anything from how awesome the burger is taste wise. One employee apologized for our "long wait" and offered us extra pita on the house, which was nice, although we honestly didn't feel like we had waited that long. The odd part was that the extra pita was never actually brought out. We didn't care enough to ask for it, but it was strange to offer something and then never follow through. Service overall was also pretty lacking. I tipped in the beginning (you pay before getting your meal) and was expecting decent service, but aside from someone bringing the food to our table, there really wasn't any. We ordered at the counter, got our own water cups and pitcher, and nobody checked on us during the meal. Since you order and pay upfront, it honestly felt like there wasn't much incentive for them to provide any service after. The food had some decent items, but between the underwhelming shawarma and almost nonexistent service, the experience was disappointing.
