Love their ice cream cones, birthday cakes and pretzel sticks. Priced reasonably. Good fast food.

We ordered takeout from there as our final Springfield treat and couldn't have been happier. The food was ready on time and was still hot. The restaurant was pretty busy but our server Benjamin came over immediately and took our drink order. We ordered the Chicken nachos and they let us sub pork for the chicken. The toppings are good and plentiful but the chips were really thick. Some were crunchy while others were just hard. I was too tired to send them back and order something else so I just mostly ate the toppings. Hubby ordered the Shrimp and tenders. We were sharing and this entry was plenty to share. You get 4 decent size fried shrimp and two very large chicken tenders. They came out very hot, perfect!!! The fries were luke warm and not very good. We would get this again but probably try other sides. We noticed many people around us getting the flatbread pizzas. They all looked delicious! We definitely would come back and try other things. Fun friendly atmosphere.

Unfortunately, I left disappointed because the food quality just wasn't what I remembered. I had been telling my wife how great the food used to be--almost like gourmet bar food--and was really looking forward to sharing that experience with her. The smash burger no longer tasted like the duck-fat burger I remembered, and the fries definitely didn't seem to be house-made anymore. They tasted more like a lower-quality frozen product, which was a letdown. On the positive side, the service was excellent. Even with the restaurant getting busy and a live band setting up, the staff stayed friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. One thing to note is that we initially arrived around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, only to find out they weren't open and was told that something came up and they didnt open until 3:00 p.m. on this Sunday. Overall, I still enjoyed the atmosphere and appreciate the great service, but I hope the kitchen can get back to the food quality that made Lindberg's one of my favorite spots in the past.

I ordered a double patty ugly burger, solid cheese burger for kids and the foodie to eat in with fries and the garlic aioli and truffle aioli dips . I also ordered the brisket burger to go for later. Let's start with Service - inside it was fast freindly, helpful and informational. Enviorment - modern no music playing or background sounds other then the cooks which was ok but a little ambiance music would help. Restrooms - Older building with modern upgrades so bathrooms were clean but hot not ac cooled like other area of the restraunt. Food - Now to the main courses. The ugly burger was great veggies were crisp burger looked like an ad and tasted amazing on all options taken each with its own twist except the kids they choose basic and those tasted good too. The fries were good crispy and hot with aioli soda products chosen were good nothing tasted over carbonated or flat. The bbq brisket sandwiche was beyond amazing and itself even re heated to eat later was a star if only I had taken one bite hot and fresh if was over the scale great 10 out of 10.

When you first walk in you're greeted by a waiter and asked if you have ever been there before if you answer no they tell you the history of Red's including the fact that they are the first fast food restaurant EVER and they are proud of that fact it's pretty cool, next your senses are overtaken by the memorabilia all over the walls, the 1950's decor it's like stepping back in time it would bring great memories to my father's generation. Then we come to the meal can you say " Oh My Cheese" That was amazing I had a single cheeseburger with no pickles add BBQ sauce and extra onions and it was pure perfection I had onion rings instead of the french fries they were some of the best I've had, I was impressed. My husband ordered a double cheeseburger with everything and loved it he got the french fries and said they were very good. We watched as other things came out and the portions were very large and might I add very tasty. Well worth the money I would say a must-try you won't be disappointed, oh ya you must try a small ice cream to top off your meal. Great Lunch Thanks Guys!! We will be back!! It's definitely a Plus 5, wish we could go higher but it won't let us. Again Thank you.

The hostesses were super friendly at the front desk and they had their hands full with the Sunday crowd. Once we were seated our server Jason(I think) did an absolutely exceptional job taking care of us throughout our leisurely lunch that started with the Triple Dip. Two of us ordered FD's Trio that included grilled, fried and crab stuffed shrimp, and I added some salmon to feel healthy. Our other party members had the chicken tenders and Hawaiian Chicken. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and again our server kept our drinks full and lots of fun banter. Menu prices are very reasonable as well. As far as ambiance and decor, honestly nothing really stands out. The dining rooms are nice and have lots of light. Unfortunately it's really noisy with a big crowd. The parking lot was crazy tight as it shares one with the next door Texas Road House, which we don't prefer. Overall, an excellent experience and it's definitely a new repeater for us.

He also gave really great recommendations on what to get and even brought a special sauce he recommends with your food. My husband got the bacon burger and he said it was really good and the fries were tasty! They also have salt, pepper and a seasoning on the table for you to season whatever you like. It was large portions! I got the chili cheese fries, per his recommendation! It was very good! I got it without a lot of the toppings it comes with and got sour cream and a boo sauce they make in shop that he recommended with it! It went very well! It was very filling! The chili was also very good! I had heard their chili was different than others, so I asked if it was different and he gave us a sample to try! It was normal to me, it does have beans and meat in it, if you're against either one of those in your chili! We also got fried pickles as an appetizer, my husband normally does not like fried pickles but he LOVED these, and said they were the best he's ever had and I love fried pickles and I would probably have to agree with him!! They were delicious, good ratio and I would get them again. For the price it was worth it to us! The diner still had that diner ambiance that a lot of places do not have anymore except for like NLA Cafe in Nixa! It only had one item listed for dessert, which was a pineapple upside down cake, which I don't normally like, but if they did like a peanut butter chocolate pie or something to give the dessert section a boost that would just improve it! Next time, I'm going to try the frito pie!!
