I went to Dairy Queen again, tonight, and it's definitely time to update my review. The last time I went, it was during the pandemic, and things were just really strained. I had a great experience, today. Everyone was nice and quick. I got the Backyard Bacon Ranch burger, which the menu only shows as double or triple, but when I asked, was told I could get a single if I wanted. It was probably the best barbecue cheeseburger I've had at a fast food place. It's also pumpkin season, so I had to get a pumpkin pie Blizzard, which was phenomenally flavorful and thick. I find the soft serve at Dairy Queen to be absolutely heavenly! They have chocolate ice cream at this location, and were able to make me a generous sundae using cherry topping, even though that was not actually on the menu board. Absolutely fantastic and a real treat! read more

This place is a hit or miss, I find that the best customer service and food quality and, frankly, even the cleanliness is in the evening. My sister and I regular the establishment and have visited for both lunchtime and dinner. And have been satisfied more times in the evening than during the lunch hours. Now, an honest review does provide the cons to the establishment. I personally will not be spending my money during lunchtime here. Every time I've visited this Dairy Queen before 4 or 5 p.m., the service has been slow, and the food has been cold or just completely wrong. And how it happens every time is beyond me, but I am simply reminded why when i see members of the staff dillydallying around, including the little curly headed manager girl, the one guy not moving a muscle at window and 1 person running back and forth doing it all. Now, if you go in the evening, you will be greeted by amazing customer service, quality, cleanliness, and over all the atmosphere. The evening manager needs to be running the whole establishment, their team thrives to make your experience better. Overall, My sister and i love to chit chat with the ladies as the smell of ice cream and pinesol tingle our noses. Our order has always been correct, hot, and fresh. . 10/10 do not recommend. As we Went to order food and we kept getting asked rudely and repeatedly rushed if that was everything after trying to order for three. I explained to her we had a few things to order three different times And she had an attitude the whole time And couldn't hear me. I am a loud person so Ik I can be heard (having worked in fast food drive thru a myself). Got to the window and she told her co worker "yep called it" rolled her eyes at me and stomped off. Excellent and cheap tasty freeze! It's always so creamy, smooth, and most importantly cold! The staff are always pleasant and prompt in their service as well. I used to only get dilly bars, as they were portable and bite sized, but lately I've moved up to a tasty freeze cone, much the same as my Papa's order. I prefer the plain tasty freeze to the chocolate dipped one, as it's already creamy and tasty enough as it is. They have remodeled the interior, and it's very nice inside! The area is always clean, despite serving sticky sugary ice cream which is quite nice. A great place to stop in the summer, and great for families, although they don't provide accommodations for babies as far as I have observed. They serve chicken strip baskets with toast! What a concept! And the toast they serve is quite excellent too! Yummy! I would definitely return, the tasty freeze and chicken basket are excellent! read more

I've come here for years, but not very often. I'm currently eating a small oreo blizzard with a couple crushed up oreos in it, but mostly flecks of oreo mixed throughout it (this is after already handing it back to them to add more). Every time I have come to this particular Dairy Queen, and no other, I have been thoroughly disappointed. It's as if the policy is stinginess. You come to a place like this for a happy treat. But, unless you like trace amounts of flavor in your icecream, you are likely to leave not so happy. I have even gotten the spiel once before on why they couldn't add more cotton candy to my cotton candy/plain vanilla icecream. It's one thing when you need to ask someone to fix a problem, but another when they don't, and often have an attitude about it as well. So, it's a one-star for me. read more

There are usually four to six of us that go once a week and order get our dishes and sit at the round table. We have a great time and enjoy our French fries and onion rings along with our blizzards. When I was abut a quarter way through the burger,, I found a blonde hair. GAGS!!!!!! I showed it to the counter person, she said I am so sorry and ordered me another meal. Okay well and good, but the manager or assistant manager should have been alerted as well. I saw the women (older) in the back and the hair was tied back, but hair nets should be worn! This place was filled with a bunch of people who were incompetent. We went to the drive-through and ordered our meal along with a burger. When we got to the window it turns out we open the bag and there was not ours burger that we ordered. So we understood that it could've been a mistake and we asked For another burger. They told us to wait in the front until it was done. we went inside after 20 minutes of nothing. then the burger didn't come again so we went in again and asked for a refund. For the past few months on sundays we always come through drive through. I alway order a royal blizzard which all but one time they have forgotton the hot fudge. I told my husband i think the window attendant (young male) looked glassy eyed. The sunday before last 5ish we came inside hoping then things would be better. The glassy eyed male handed my hasband his normal cone, except it was melted and about half the normal size...we protested and he said he "weighed" it and it was right. We went outside and marajuana smell was in the air.
