Hot (or cold) quick eats on the road. There's a hot food area, a self serve microwave to heat up anything purchased cold, and just a ton of road snacks. Salt, sweet, you name it they have it! Drop on by for snacks and gas!

Very clean rest area with very clean bathrooms. They have a huge variety of sandwiches and other items at the store.

I stopped at the Longhouse on the way home from Silverdale tonight to get very reasonably priced gas and some snacks. They have twelve gas pumps and a huge selection in the store. The restroom was clean, too. I took a couple of pictures inside, but the cashier asked me if I was taking pictures, and when I said "Yes, but no one was in them" (thinking people's privacy was the problem), she told me that wasn't allowed. I asked if that included the exterior of the building and she said she didn't think so. Since I waited until everyone was out of frame to take the pictures, I thought that maybe taking images in which the Native artwork could be seen was prohibited. Unsure of the reasoning and to be on the safe side, I deleted the interior pictures (except the close-up of my selections) and the exterior pictures in which Native artwork could be seen. I told her there were already a bunch of pictures of the interior on Yelp, so it didn't occur to me to ask. I hope these pictures are acceptable.

Very good deli with a tasty selection of sandwiches, salads and more. The overall market has a little of everything for a quick stop.

Ask the Community - Longhouse Market & Deli

What sandwiches do they have? Are they premade?

They have a wide variety of very tasty sandwiches; although you can buy pre-made ones, the deli makes their selections to order. Highly recommended.

The waitresses all seemed very polite and happy. I was going to try their famous Apple Pancake, but then saw the Raspberry Lemon Bar French Toast breakfast special. The flavor was terrific, and the texture of the French toast was the best I've ever experienced. My mom liked the look of my raspberry syrup so much, that she asked the waitress to take away her maple, and bring raspberry for her pancakes. I also tried their very popular bacon. It had great flavor, but was very dry. Next time, I'd ask for it limp. I guess the crispy bacon is really popular, but wasn't really my thing. The flavor it was so amazing, though, that I can't wait to try it again, just less cooked. The Hawaiian Sunrise mocktail tasted so much like cherry, that I couldn't taste the pineapple that much, but the hot chocolate was seriously the best hot chocolate I've ever had. It was so creamy and sweet, and just the right strength of chocolate flavor.

On nearly every front, 7 Cedars delivered. The hotel is lovely - well appointed, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The staff deserves special praise, especially the front desk team: warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. They set the tone for a wonderful stay. We enjoyed all of our meals at the House of Seven Brothers. The food, tastes, menu variety and service were excellent across the board. BTW, the restaurant easily accommodated the casual, family and fine diners. Now the casino...to put it delicately (and humorously): We each fed the slots thousands, and in return, they gave us...a life lesson in humility.Payouts were shockingly marginal and bonuses very infrequent. We are seasoned slot enthusiasts, who've enjoyed slot excursions across the state for over 30 years. Our slot experience at 7 Cedars by far overshadowed an otherwise wonderful stay. We left feeling more deflated than relaxed. Sadly, we will not be back.

This was a pleasantly surprising experience as a vegan…read more My friend and I came in to celebrate as we are in town for hiking trip but wanted to do one nice dinner out. She made reservations and chose outdoors, not realizing it would be so cold, so I was freezing in my cotton dress. When I asked if they had any heaters, they kindly offered blankets so I took two and bundled myself up. For the amuse bouche, we got a radish with baba ghanoush and some sort of blackberry balsamic. For the first course, I got shishito peppers with baba ghanoush. The peppers weren't too spicy and paired well with the baba ghanoush. It's not something I would have probably sought out to eat myself so it was nice to have something different. For the main course, I got a shiitake, oyster mushroom rice noodle curry. This was surprisingly filling to the point that I had to waste some of the rice noodles. For dessert, I got a pear ginger blackberry fruit crisp. It was nice that you could taste that it wasn't made with a bunch of added sugar or anything. My friend got the other vegan dessert which was a coconut tapioca pudding, which I also tried, and was nice and light and tart, with some figs at the top. Service was great. Our server asked right off the bat about dietary restrictions so I told her vegan, no honey for myself. There was a very long gap between course 1 and course 2 which may have led to me getting full earlier than anticipated, and then the gap between the entree and dessert wasn't as vast. Our entire dinner took about two hours at Nourish, 7-9pm, which is longer than we expected, but the food was a pleasant experience. As a vegan, a little more protein was top of mind when reading the menu, but I love that they created good vegetable based dishes without any mock meats or excess sodium or processed ingredients. My friend also really enjoyed her food. Priced at $78 per person, it's a nice night out. We recommend.

We ended up getting two items on this visit: Cheese Stick ($2.75) - Chewy dough stick about a foot long. The dough seems to be rolled in cheddar cheese and then baked, giving distinct cheese nuggets randomly dispersed throughout. It has good cheese flavor, kind of tangy. Due to the rain, perhaps, all the crisp on the actual dough is gone, so it's just chewy throughout with no skin. (4/5) Cowboy Croissant ($2.75) - Tiny puck, less than three inches across - wish they offered bigger ones! Sharp cheddar, bacon with pesto. Great flavors that complement each other well. The croissant dough tastes a little on the sweet side. Good lamination. (4/5) Pane d'Amore serves some pretty good pastries. Had a great time and we stopped here for dinner on a Sunday around 4:30 before heading back home. This great looking restaurant didn't exist last time we were in Sequim. It's right next door to the attractive Holiday Inn Express. Because I had a bit of a drive ahead of me, we ordered no beer or wine, just stuck with ice cold water. My wife ordered the Chicken Caesar Melt ($15.39), marinated grilled chicken breast with Caesar dressing, lettuce, tomato, and Swiss & jack cheeses on sourdough bread grilled with a Parmesan crust. Came with a choice of sides and she had the onion rings. I had Mikey's Homemade Chicken Pot Pie ($17.99), which also came with choice of sides. I had the green beans and bacon, which was very flavorful, but the beans were cooked to death...soft and mushy 50's style; probably wouldn't order them again. Except for the beans, we both thought our food choices were excellent. My wife asked for tartar sauce for her rings and it definitely was not our preferred style...too sweet. Just give us dill relish, mayo and a little onion...no sugar or other sweetener please. Lots of young people working here...all very polite, well-spoken and cordial. Our server did a great job!
