This is an ok place to get your typical Ice cream treats. The staff works hard and I think everywhere is short on staff. Expect a long wait and ok food. You get what you pay for and what you expect. There were two cars ahead of me. Nearly a 15 minute wait before ordering. When I finally got to the window, they handed me the incorrect food. They took it back and asked if I had the malt and Blizzrard. I said yes and they closed the window . After waiting a few minutes more, the window opened and she stated the amount, I couldn't hear what she said, but I handed her a $20 bill. She started to hand back the change, and the receipt blew away. I had $3 and a few coins. when she handed the malt and Blizzard to me, she very quickly inverted and uprighted the Blizzard. I asked if a medium Blizzard and medium malt really costs almost $17.00? She responded yes that's right and quickly closed the window. I knocked on the window and asked why Hot Springs DQ was nearly $7 less for the same items. She said "we hear this every day - different owners I guess" and quickly closed the window. So, slow service, mistakes on the order, extremely overpriced, crappy attitude -and the Blizzard was runny. I try this DQ about once a year (we have only a few restaurants open in the off season) - and the outcome is always the same. read more

I'm a fan of DQ chocolate milkshakes, and I've had a lot of them. A perfect one can be sucked through a straw. The one from this location could not. And because it came in a non-insulated cup, the outside edges quickly turned into just a cold drink. This DQ has to take its place as the worst burger I've ever eaten in my 53 years on this earth. It was literally cold. The bun tasted 1-2 weeks old. No flavor at all. I found myself wanting a microwave to heat it up. The fries weren't much better, so I drowned them in ketchup. My other three family members had the same impression of their meals. Painstakingly slow service, then they got the order wrong, ugh! I do not know how this place stays in business! Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this business. read more

The employees were great and the service was very fast! It is a very small Dairy Queen with a tight parking lot but the food was amazing. The snack melts were very well put together instead of falling out like I usually get them. My husbands chicken strip basket was good as well. The bathrooms are clean but very tight but gets the job done. Great place to stop for a quick lunch while in town! A little pricey on some items though. read more

If I could give this place a half star I would . Myself and my pregnant wife got lunch there today 3-13-2022 it was horrible. My wifes bun was dry, stale and falling apart . Worst DQ ever. Twice we came in, stood at the counter with no one in front of us, and walked out without being served. No employees or adults in evidence. Two teenage customers rough housing behind the counter, helping themselves to drinks. Doesn't even seem like a going concern. Got roller dogs from the gas station down the street. Someday, after they've gone out of business, these franchisees are going to wonder why their business failed. It failed because they were absent, collecting profits without supervising their business. Tourists may go once, but they'll never attract locals. As far as Dairy Queen goes when you visit for ice cream it's pretty much a good deal. However while standing in line tonight the "manager" came out and abruptly informed us how slammed they were and that we were just going to have to be patient. No one in our party was in a hurry nor did we act discontented while there. Then as we acted surprised by her comments they viewed it as a complaint and she came out again to "confront" us. Not the fastest drive thru, but also not as painstakingly slow as others have experienced. The blizzards we got were excellently made, though, so the short wait was completely worth the time. Food was okay, but all the staff had a kind of "you are an inconvenience to me" type of attitude. Restaurant is very cramped, and even the parking lot is poorly laid out. If I could give this a zero I would. At 11:59am we pulled into the drive thru. We waited 12 min to have our order taken, when it was finally taken it was wrong. We pulled up to the window where a woman named Laura took our correct order. While it was being made we watched food being heated up in the microwave, food was pulled out of a fridge and the fridge was left wide open for three minutes, workers were literally standing around watching others work while there for seven people in the drive thru. When we finally got our order about 15 minutes later we had an item missing and two items we never ordered. Laura said that the person before us must have driven off (no they did not). She ripped the bag out of my sister's hand and slammed the window in her face. She came back ten minutes later with half the order and when we asked for the rest of the order she argued with us saying she had already given us the order. We explained it was the wrong order and she again started about how people drove off, two people quit, she did not have time for this. Again she slammed her window. When she came back with the rest of the order she handed it to us and we found out that they had put our remaining sandwich in a bag UNWRAPPED, there was nothing covering it. When we asked for a manager Laura stated she is the manager and what did we want from her, she gave us our food. When my sister said we wanted our money back and to take the food back she grabbed the receipt, slammed the window in my sisters face, returned the money and told us to leave so she could help other people. The food was disgusting, greasy and cold. We have told about two dozen people about this experience. Outside the DQ location we went to there was a carpenters bucket that was catching water leaking from the restaurant with such a film on it you could tell it had been there days and is a breading ground for bugs. I wonder what the health department would think of that. By the time we left it was 12:49pm, it took 50 minutes for this ordeal. It was my first experience eating regular food at DQ and I will never do it again. read more

This poor DQ seemed to be under-staffed. Long line that lasted forever. Food came promptly, but with many missing items (which then you had to wait in line again to get them). Looked like only 2-3 people were working and at one point I wanted to help them because they were so backed up. Lots of flies and the tables really needed to be cleaned. Place was mostly empty with 4 people working there, They could see us standing at the counter but nobody would come out and wait on us. We let them know we needed help. A reluctant non-smiling employee finally came out and asked us rather unfriendly what we wanted. We ordered and even gave a tip. When our order was ready, the same employee came back, handed us our food, no comment, no smile, no thanks for coming and turned around and walked away. We won't be back. My husband and I were there yesterday evening and we order the #7 & #8 with two blizzards. We told them to bring the blizzards out last after we are done eating. We got the blizzards first and they were completely melted. And the girl brought out our food slammed our food down on top of our traveling book we were looking at. She was very rude and rushed back all because of her boyfriend was there. We are not to happy with this type of service.
