Wanted salad. I tend to always want salad. Went with the Springfield. Crisp and fresh - really enjoyed the toppings and dressing. Harmony. That's how I'd describe this salad. I'd definitely have it again. Grabbed the Hot Springs. Wanted a cold sandwich. Wanted an Italian. Closest I could find and the vinaigrette was even on the side so I could add as much or as little as I wanted. I remember enjoying this sandwich so much I considered grabbing a second for the road. However, we're traveling and gotta try other foods and places. This would be one place I'd go back to if or when I find myself back in Rapid City. This went on through our entire meal. I would have said something, but there was no obvious manager in sight, and what could they have done? The gravy was a bit overpowering - it's a shame that this is the first time I'd had buffalo and have no idea what it tastes like. I should have ordered gravy on the side. My wife had macaroni & cheese with a piece of grilled chicken. We both had small salads to start. We're not heavy eaters, and usually only get through about 1/2 of our meals, so we were done rather quickly. Unfortunately, there was no sign of our server for ~10 minutes while we waited patiently. There was only one other party in the room, so it's not like she was occupied with other customers. I finally had to go ask for our check at the hostess station.
