Service is horrible, the shift manager is rude and prejudice. Every time I order from this Culver's it's a problem!!! Not once have I had a great experience!!!! The young kids are doing their best, but sometimes they get the order wrong. The shift manager doesn't have leadership skills. He is rude and very unpleasant. I tried contacting the corporate office. This is a franchise store owned by GUY MANN. I'm sure he doesn't want people like this working for him. Everyone in my family loves the burgers here, but we have decided to take a break from eating at Culver's due to the fact that they can't seem to crisp up their fries and onion rings. Good fries are really important, and unfortunately this location has served us soggy, undercooked fries several times in a row. We ordered onion rings last time to try to avoid this problem, but the onion rings were also undercooked. Also, my housemate ordered the 2 piece North Atlantic Cod meal and was underwhelmed by the very small fish pieces. Served alongside those soggy fries, her meal was a disappointment and definitely not worth the price. So what should we do? Go to McDonald's for fries? The lettuce tasted rotten and the soda tasted like mildew. It was clear they hadn't cleaned the soft drink dispenser in a long time and hadn't swapped out the lettuce from the day before. read more

The custard was nice and smooth. Although the special of the day was not my favorite, the chocolate is always my preferred flavor. The workers were so nice there. They went out the way to see if we were good with the custard. When I left the restaurant, all the workers said goodbye to us. That is great customer service. read more

Love our Culver's in Nebraska and usually we avoid going to places we have locally when we are on vacation. But my son kept asking and so we gave in. Unfortunately, our fish was overcooked. There was apparently no air conditioning either. YUCK when it's summer and you are in a very busy fast food restaurant. However, the staff were friendly, the food arrived fast and it was clean. I also like the shade over the tables outside. Ours has fabric umbrellas which are very worn. read more

After seeing their fish commercial, I decided to try it. They didn't have the fish platter shown on the commercials so I had to order a sandwich. My fish was about a third of the size of the bun, super dry and tasted old. I only gave it two stars because the crinkle fries were good. read more

Tasty frozen custard; very friendly and helpful cashiers (one evening, when they didn't have enough lemon ice for an order, they gave my wife what they did have for free). The wifi is a little odd (seemed to block IMAP access to Gmail) but was a nice bonus. We went back three of the four nights we were in the area. read more

This Place reminds me of a Jack In The Box fast food chain. The set up is basically the same, but just a different name and a different set of food offerings. I was introduced by Culver's when I was in Kansas City a few years back, but never came back to one until fairly recently. With that being said, this place is really clean and respondent to customer's needs. They have that take a number and we will deliver your order while you wait at your table deal. Thought that was pretty cool. I eventually had the butter burger combo with a side of mashed potatoes. Seems like they are like Wendy's or something like that. The burger tasted like Burger King, although any burger is pretty good, when done a certain way. The Culver's staff was polite, attentive, and fast, which was cool. After all, it is fast food. I had a pretty good food experience here and it kind of borderlines on enjoyable really. This place reminds me of any fast food joint really. Can't say anything much else about this place though. You get in, order your food, pay for food, wait for order, pick up order, and get on with your life. It is a cool experience to be able to just be able to relax here with friends on a random weekend. I didnt have any of the frozen custard though, but I wished I had. I was here on vacation in between running marathons in Burlington, VT and Deadwood, SD and I just happened to stop by in Rapid City for a relaxing week of recovery before doing it all over again. What a joke this was. Reinforced the reason why I go to the Rushmore Crossing location. I'm a very very patient person and I understand it's the lunch rush. But waiting 40 minutes inside for one burger and no fries is outrageous. I placed my order at 12:11 (on my receipt) and didn't receive the burger until close to 12:50. Not to mention that it was wrong but at this point I have to scarf it down while driving back to work. I also received my meal after multiple people that ordered after me got theirs. At first glance my initial reaction to a "butterburger" was somewhat befuddled. What on earth is a butterburger?!! Apparently a piece of nice lean beef. Not uber greasy, or nasty in any way, but just like your mom makes at home. This restaurant was clean, family oriented, everyone was polite and hard working. The manager and regional manager were really friendly and greeted my family in the middle of a meeting they were having. The blueberry shake I had was fantastic and each draw from my straw had several blueberries in it. um, HELLO, that's RAD!!!! So yeah, I liked it a lot. Culvers is similar to Good Times with the whole burgers and custard thing. Good place to grab a burger that tastes better than fast food. Everything I ordered was fresh and hot off the grill. The butterburgers are great. You get a good piece of meat between what I assume are buns grilled with butter. The end result is a subtle tasty crunch that is awesome. They have several different burgers you can choose from. The chedder butterburger was tasty, but I would recommend the 3 pepper butterburger (which has pepperjack, chipotle sauce, and jalapenos). Being 2 burgers in, I didn't delve too far into the custard situation, but I had a cup of the flavor of the day which was chocolate cheesecake. It was ok, but an odd flavor. The quality of the custard was comparable to Good Times, neither better nor worse. The fries were nothing special. Oh, and I almost forgot.. they have a ton of Culvers branded things you can buy from mugs to t-shirts, but if they ever sell any of them, I will be genuinely surprised. read more

Amazing customer service. I wanted to get a pint of ice cream and the girl at the drive-through window was really awesome with helping me decide with what kind of chocolate ice cream I wanted. She was really nice and really went out of her way I wish I knew her name so I can put it in here to give her praise. The food is fresh I got a crispy chicken sandwich and it is very crispy in a good way. I went to different Culver's one in Spearfish and this culversIs probably my favorite one. So, this experience was pretty horrible. The food was great, and would have been better if it's what we actually ordered. Here are my complaints; -------------When I went through the drive-thru, I had to repeat everything I said 3-4 times. -------------Hardly anything in our order was correct. (We say Pepsi, he would repeat back "ice tea...") -------------We ordered a burger with ketchup and mustard, it only had mustard. -------------Ordered cheese curds with it... got fries -------------Ordered a Pepsi... got ice tea. -------------Ordered a kids burger with just ketchup and mustard... got ketchup and pickles. -------------Ordered a root beer with the other burger.... got a Pepsi The man who took the order was their general manager.... WOW! We called to let them know that pretty much everything was wrong, and we got no apology. All she said was "Well, he's our general manager..." So yeah, not going back there again. Oh Culvers, what can I say about you. Whether I'm nursing a hangover at lunch on a Sunday or need a quick dinner for the kids during the week you're always there for me. One thing I love about this place is that it's a burger joint with more than just burgers. Want a Rueben, no problem! Craving a fried chicken and mashed potatoes, they have you covered. Everything I have had has been outstanding. I'm not crazy about ice cream but the frozen custard here is really good. definitely the best soft serve style ice cream I've had. It make Dairy Queen taste like frozen cardboard. The employees here seem to be some of the happiest and nicest people I have ever encountered in a restaurant. So much so that it makes me wonder if there is some sort of corporate brainwashing going on. But I won't dig into that as the results are outstanding. I can't think of another fast food restaurant where an employee watched my 2 year old hurl his apple juice across the room and then happily offered to bring me another one. Great place to grab a snack or a fast meal. My personal favorite is the fried cheese curds...mom, nom, nom. I am kind of a rabbit food consumer when it comes to fast food and Culver's fills that choice fine as they have a couple of good choices like the cashew chicken salad. We stopped by for a quick lunch after visiting the Badlands National Park. The food was yummy, filling and everyone enjoyed their burgers and chicken fingers.
