Really cute restaurant. I went with 11 people on a Saturday night and they were able to accommodate all of us. I had the pad see ew and it was delicious. I tried the scallop appetizer as well and it was really good.

Really wonderful service and ambiance. Everyone was so friendly. My date and I were seated promptly at the bar when we walked in. The food and drinks were fantastic. We will definitely be returning soon to this lovely restaurant.

My favorite Thai restaurant in NYC closed late last year and I've been devastated since. But I found this one and I'm in Awwwww! The food was incredibly amazing. Wow so good. The drinks! The appetizers just everything was top tier. I little pricey but of course because of the area. Love it. 10/10 recommend must try!!

I tried Dagg Thai recently using a doordash credit and promo. It was close to where I worked and I had this spot bookmarked. I ordered the lunch special, which came with Chicken Pas See Eiw and Dumplings on the side. The portion was solid for a lunch deal, and the main entrees was alright. My only wish was that they included some hot sauce or chili sauce on the side. Something to give it a little bit of a kick. The dumplings were a nice bonus and the sauce they gave for it. I did step inside to pick up my takeout order, and the place was pretty busy, which is usually a good sign.

Amazing food but it was on the pricey side. We ordered the pad Thai, crab rolls, crispy papaya salad, and one other noodle dish The pad Thai was good and there was plenty of shrimp The crispy papaya salad was unexpected. Everything was deep fried, like a fritter covered in sauce. Pretty delicious, not as a big fan of raw beans that was topped with. The crab spring rolls were good as well. Super deep fried and crispy. Would recommend if you're in the area and looking for something to eat. However the items were up to par of the cost of midtown.

Dagg Thai is AMAZING. The service I received from Beau & Thomas was unmatched. Everyone is so nice. The food is great as well. We ordered coconut shrimp, fried tofu, spring rolls, and basil fried rice. Everything is easily 10/10. And came out quickly! Would recommend and return.

Really glad we decided to check out Dagg Thai with a group of friends. The food was excellent and the atmosphere made it even better. It does get pretty busy around dinner time, so I would definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. The scallop bite was a standout. Do not skip the sauce because it really pulls the whole dish together. The herbs add a nice freshness and make every bite feel balanced and fun. The crispy papaya salad is another must order. It is different from the usual version, but that is exactly why it works so well. Overall, Dagg Thai is a great spot with solid flavors and a lively vibe. If you are in the neighborhood, it is absolutely worth a visit.

I've walked in twice for dinner and enjoyed both visits. The atmosphere here is pleasant (two stories, huge bar, not too crowded) and the service is attentive. My favorite dishes so far are the the scallop bite and kang pu. The scallops come in these leaves that you DIY wrap. Sort of messy but so good, a mix of spicy sweet savory. The kang pu is crab meat wrapped in leaves, swimming in curry with noodles on the side for dipping. The crab meat is tender and the curry is flavorful. The plating is also thoughtful - like the sticky rice we got for the E-Ped came wrapped up to preserve the warmth/moisture. For drinks I've tried the Bee Nice and Mr. Tamarind Man. Both are good options if you like sweet and not too spirit forward. The tamarind sorbet for dessert is light and I really enjoyed it, as someone who doesn't have tamarind often. Prices are mid-high range which a good amount of the well known Thai restaurants seem to hit at. I recommend this for the next time you're in midtown looking for good food and ambience.

I definitely would say make a reservation if possible, if not you may have a little wait. We came on a Wednesday nite with reservations and it was crowed. Once our full party arrived we were immediately seated. The place is a good size with table and bar seating. The drinks were very tasty but for the price I want more alcohol! All the food was really good, my first scallop experience and it was so good! the chicken wings were fried perfectly and was dusted with a spiced seasoning blend which I liked. I had the beef salad for dinner it was good, except I think most the the beef piece were to fatty...like that hard fat that can not be chewed by human teeth...lol the flavor was there tho it also did not have enough "salad". For dessert we had the tamarind sorbet that was soo delish and refreshing. Overall I do recommend A+

Hands down our favorite Thai restaurant in NYC! The first time we ordered takeout to our hotel and then it delivered so hard that we had to make a dine-in reservation for the next day. We tried the pad thai, pad see ew, and a fried garlic fish entree. The pad see ew and scallops appetizer are to die for and we'll always come back to Dagg for these two dishes.

the dagg haeng noodles and crispy papaya salad were my favorite! the duck and the crab fried rice were not really worth the price in my opinion -- the duck wasn't as tender as I expected. the scallops and crab roll were good appetizers, but overall the items are pretty pricey

They have an extensive menu and great drink selections. I love how they provide visuals of their cocktail selection. I highly recommend Mr. Tamarind Man. As for food, the larb wings were crispy and flavorful. I also enjoyed the pad se eiw.

Dagg Thai was our final dinner stop during my recent trip to New York given its high reviews and proximity to our hotel in Midtown. Coming in on a weekend, we were lucky that they had some tables in the back available without a reservation. The restaurant ambiance was very chic without it coming off outrageously high end. As a vegan, I was surprised that there was only one option for me which was their Massaman Curry with Tofu. Initially I wanted to order a noodle dish with some animal products removed, but they told me the sauce they used to stir-fry all contained ingredients I couldn't eat. The curry I had was pretty good overall. There was a generous amount of tofu skin, potatoes, and onions included that paired well with my bowl of rice. I found the spice level to be great as well but could've gone a bit more spicy next time. Hopefully in the future there will be other vegan friendly items that plant-based diners can pick from to diversify their choices.

Not all midtown restaurants stay open past 10, and I was relieved to find their kitchen going strong at that hour, as well as their dining space, which was full. Turned out it was for good reason because their food was delicious. My friend and I were hoping to eat at a restaurant nearby specializing in crab, but they closed much earlier. Fortunately for us, SaiTong's menu had plenty of crab on it, and we decided to double up and make each of our entree's a crab one. The black spaghetti crab curry and crab curry noodles advertised themselves as being very different dishes in both presentation and ingredients but ended up tasting kind of similar. One was topped with deep fried crab and used a different type of noodle than the other, but the sauces were so similar. This is not to say that they didn't taste good, but I would've preferred more variance. I'm glad we got an order of papaya salad to cut the richness of the other dishes, and I also appreciated it had a nice level of heat in it. Our servers were really friendly without being overbearing, and let us linger for a bit even after we paid the bill, as it was their last seating for the evening. There are so many excellent Thai restaurants in the city and I'd put SaiTong firmly in the category of perfectly solid spots to get your Thai fix, with some special dishes on the chef's menu worth checking out.

As a Thai person myself and as indicated on their menu, it's the way most Thais eat this dish :) The fried egg added that rich, runny element that really brings everything together.
