Went for my first time last week. Fabulous service from the staff and management and the food was delicious. Will definitely go back.

Best Tapas menu around and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. And they have the best wines by the glass to choose from.

Food was great! We got the pasta and it tasted good. Service was a little slow as it was busy, but overall a very nice place!

We were greeted almost immediately and presented with drink menus. Our server answered questions about what the drinks tasted like to help us decide as well. The inside is a little bit divey in feel but more upscale than your typical dive bar. They had tons of seating, and I saw next to a fireplace because it looked cozy (it was). The server was quick to take my order even though it was pretty busy in there (was rush weekend I think for the university?). I had the tin man HH cocktail because my server said it would be the most floral (has elderflower in it) and I quite liked it! Was very refreshing, not too strong. Aside notes: the bathrooms were quite clean. Parking was a little chaotic, some is paid parking and some is free 2 hour. There are only a couple spots right in front, I had to park a few blocks down but it was in 2hr free park by another small business that was closed for the day. I didn't have any issues there. Overall thought this was a fun little bar in Boulder with good happy hour drinks, I would def come back :)

Our server took great care with us and checked on us frequently, which was very much appreciated. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Just know that inside seating is dimly lit. Certain drinks come served in super fun tiki glasses! The drinks were extremely well priced for Boulder! I look forward to going back and giving the food and drink a try. I've been here a few times over the last couple years, and it's become a go-to for me in the area. I'm a sucker for a good Mai Tai. And boy oh boy, they make a great one here. Definitely ones of the standouts on the classic cocktail menu. Flip the menu around and you'll find unique original drinks. For the classics, stick with Mai Tai, Jungle Bird, Saturn, or Piña Colada. We came here after an event where there was appetizers, so we didn't want to commit to entrées. Jungle has a nice selection of tropical appetizers, burgers, chicken tenders, fish tacos, etc. This was my first time eating here. We ordered the ceviche and nachos. Ceviche was very sweet due to the passion fruit (actually way too sweet) but I appreciated the execution of the shrimp, lime, and other ingredients. The nachos were solid with a white queso. A fancier/island take on a bar staple. Wouldn't run back for either personally, just my preference! We sat on the patio and service was prompt and friendly. I would like to sit inside one day, keep in mind close to half the seating is outside the actual bar. But on a beautiful night in Boulder, it's a great place to be. Definitely recommend Jungle. It's not one of those overly pretentious tiki bars. It has a nice neighborhood bar feel, albeit their talent behind the stick. Check them out!

I tried the chicken tinga taco, carnitas taco, short rib enchilada with Christmas sauce, and the chicken tinga tostada. The chicken tinga tostada was definitely my favorite. It had really fresh greens and a lot of flavor without being too heavy. The chicken tinga taco was probably my second favorite and had some of those same flavors. The carnitas taco was good too, but it didn't stand out quite as much compared to the other two. The enchilada was probably my least favorite, although I really liked the red sauce. I got the Christmas sauce with both the green and red sauces, and the red had a really nice smoky flavor. The service was actually impressive. Our server was really friendly, and somehow we got our food faster than we usually do at some fast food places. I also really liked all the plants and flowers out front, which gave the place a nice atmosphere. Overall, I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back.

All in, it came to around $200. The guacamole is a real standout. The camote asado (charred sweet potatoes) is my favorite - great char, well-seasoned. The lemon rice that comes with the fish was also great. One genuinely great thing about this place: everything is gluten-free, which makes it an easy pick whenever family visits since a few of them can't do gluten. That said, I'm personally a big flour-tortilla person, so if that's your preference too, just know this isn't that, but I still really enjoy coming here regardless. Solid, reliable, and great for gluten-free dinners.

Everyone from the hostess, and all the wait staff were so kind -and made me feel welcomed. I was on call and unfortunately had two phone call I had to take, and my waitress was so gracious to send back one of my plates so that it can come out later warm and fresh. The service felt like casual fine dining, in the best sense. I really appreciated this. The happy hour menu is small but mighty. One thing I was intrigued by before coming here was that the corn is flown in from Mexico, celebrating and providing a cultural experience. I'm so grateful that they delivered on the oral experience with the balance in flavor, texture, and spice. No one ingredient overpowered the dishes service, and even the spice was there, but not to a miserable level that often leaves me suffering as I eat my food. I had the sopes de picadillo and the taco de puesto. Seriously a glorious meal. I wish I was hungrier so I could try more. Because of my work schedule, I couldn't return back during my trip, but I wish I had the chance. I would definitely make it a priority to dine here again if afforded the chance to return to Boulder!

Ambience - this isn't the best place for a business dinner. very quiet/romantic and i felt like our group was out of place there, but no one looked at us oddly. It felt more like we might have been interfering with their romantic vibe as we were talking business. The restaurant and staff present a very inviting atmosphere. Food, this is where i was disappointed. the Bread at the beginning was very good/ with salted butter. I ordered the salted radish appetizer and it honestly just felt like salted radishes on top of a puree that i didn't really care for. So would put this as a 5/10 in terms of rating. I got the rabbit, which was recommended as being the best entree option. i have never had rabbit previously and wanted to try it. I thought it was OK, but not very memorable. It did taste like dark meat chicken. however the chick peas they were served with were underdone (crunchy in texture) and simply not that good. Our dessert, blueberry Tres Leches, was the best of the 3. My dining companions had a variety of things (striped bass, meatballs), but no one was raving about their food. Service was quite nice. would give this more like a 3.5 out of 5, as the atmosphere and service were good. Sadly won't be returning.
