Delicious tacos with perfectly seasoned meats, fresh toppings, and warm, soft tortillas. The variety of salsas added bold, vibrant flavor to every bite, and the margaritas were refreshing and well balanced. The space is filled with colorful décor and lots of plants, creating a fun, inviting atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely a place we'll be back to.

Another five star dining experience with Drew and the gang at Mr. Oso Boulder! Someday I'll be able to show you the food before we eat it. But let me just say it goes fast. And I'm so excited. I forget to take a picture. It's all decked out for the holidays and so pretty inside! The hotel next-door is having some overnight stay special rates. My suggestion is to stay at the hotel, knowing that the best restaurant in town is Next door!

I watched this area of the Hill being redeveloped and I am pleased at how the hotel area has turned out. They have bar and bar food in the hotel, the Hill neighborhood has classic bar and food options. This area bridges this options . This is the second new to Boulder establishments. Adjacent to Mister Oso is Aviano coffee. My husband and I went down to Mister Oso for drinks and happy hour today. I was finally able to get my favorite local cider which has been hard to find recently. Stem Hibiscus. My husband was hoping to find an amber beer but they only had a Mexican lager, not really dark enough but certainly drinkable. W had a selection of their happy hour bites. Emergency liked the guac the best with the sesame topping. Other in town are doing something like that's too. Boulder now has 2 Frito pies. I am used to having a meaty Frito pie, whether in original home recipe or the elegant version elsewhere in Boulder if you can imagine such a dish. This one is really more like a Frito/queso nacho dish. Not bad but not what I was expecting. The queso dish was fine, not unlike the Torchy's version I used to like in Denver. Chips were warm and tasty. The Gordo Crunch little tacos were good too. Servers were friendly and helpful as was the cheerful manager. There were lots of younger customers outside today with the sliding wall open. We'll try this again with friends. The interior is so nice and fresh and well designed with a goo music mix playing, not too loud or too subtle.

I've been to the one in Denver but this location just opened in May 2025. It's got an Amazon jungle vibe and an inviting decor. There's light Latin music playing in the background. Our waitress Roz was so nice! We ordered the mini queso and gordo crunch tacos as appetizers. Both were delicious! For our lunch, we get the mahi mahi tacos and the tuna agua chile. For dessert, we got the churros and mango sorbet. My friend who's from Peru mentioned the tuna agua chile reminded of her of back home. We were both delighted with the overall taste of everything! I actually didn't like think I would like the mango sorbet but it surprised me...it was sweet and tangy at the same time with some crumbled shavings that added a slight crunch. The churros were delicious but of course very filling. Prices were good.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! Great vibes and service. Our serves Kylie and Kaya were so friendly and accommodating. The taco meat was so tender and not dry at all. Tortillas tasted freshly made. The churros are also incredible. They come warm with lime salt on top. Such a great combo. This is a pricy restaurant but worth it.

This place is so good! With them refreshing the menu on a consistent basis it stays fresh! Love the atmosphere up on the Hill! Awesome spot for a pre-show before the Fox or pre and post game at Folsom! Service is always SOLID!

We had dinner last night at a new spot in Boulder, and it was such a good find. There were four of us, and the whole night had a great vibe--fun atmosphere, friendly staff, and solid service. We tried a few different dishes and would definitely recommend the Tuna Crudo, Cauliflower Tacos, Birria Tacos, and the Green Curry Tacos. Everything was fresh and flavorful without trying too hard. We'd go back for sure.

The inside is a little bit divey in feel but more upscale than your typical dive bar. They had tons of seating, and I saw next to a fireplace because it looked cozy (it was). The server was quick to take my order even though it was pretty busy in there (was rush weekend I think for the university?). I had the tin man HH cocktail because my server said it would be the most floral (has elderflower in it) and I quite liked it! Was very refreshing, not too strong. Aside notes: the bathrooms were quite clean. Parking was a little chaotic, some is paid parking and some is free 2 hour. There are only a couple spots right in front, I had to park a few blocks down but it was in 2hr free park by another small business that was closed for the day. I didn't have any issues there. Overall thought this was a fun little bar in Boulder with good happy hour drinks, I would def come back :)

I think the best thing about River and Woods is the interior and exterior decoration. It is very clear that a lot of thought and time was put into the atmosphere here. From the cute door knocker to the bathroom wallpaper, the theme is well-executed. The food was a bit disappointing. The blue oyster mushroom appetizer was extremely salty. I thought it was just me but the rest of the table agreed as well. My trout was well-cooked and I enjoyed it quite a bit. The chicken was also salty although cooked well. I did not try the burger but I was told it was salty as well. The prices of all the items were quite high for what I thought was presented. Service was good and thankfully our waters were filled frequently for how much water we were drinking due to the high salt content.

The restaurant itself is beautiful and the beautiful bar is the centerpiece of this gorgeous restaurant. The atmosphere is a lovely combination of elegance and dining comfort. I'm quite the foodie and cook for multiple friend groups so I was skeptical. When we walked in on a Tuesday evening near closing time, I noticed the Bib Gourmand plaque on the wall, mention of Michelin star sister restaurant, Alma and at least 6 parties still seated. Let's talk about the food now. Our party of 3 ordered alot which included: -camote (that ricotta and fennel pairing-oh my!), -caesar salad (huge portion and the BEST I've ever had; even better than any tableside caesar) -yellowtail carpaccio (many renditions of this in LA, but this made me want to eat the whole plate and slurp the sauce!) -tostada (incredible. I wanted more) -carne asada taco (divine cut of meat, hands down the best I've had), --- -pork taco (my husband ordered it and said it was the best he's had) -red snapper (I've had this all over Baja Mexico w very fond memories, but THIS one was a tip the bowl kind of dish) cooked to perfection w abeautiful flavors in the sauce. - mushroom entree. I was extremely surprised with every dish we had, as I found myself swooning into another dimension of pleasure and slight jealousy with every bite. I haven't been WOWED by Mexican flavors at all (in LA or OC ), but only since my trip to Tulúm. I can taste the intention of each flavor combination, freshness of the corn, I really can go on and on. I can still remember being impressed beyond belief, and saying out loud, "THIS is what I want Mexican food to taste like". Prices were so reasonable. Entree portions were hefty and fullfilling. Staff was friendly and knowledgable about the menu and brand story. Hoping and wishing that one day they'll open up a location? chef's kiss to this place. Will try Alma and others when back in CO.

Ambience - this isn't the best place for a business dinner. very quiet/romantic and i felt like our group was out of place there, but no one looked at us oddly. It felt more like we might have been interfering with their romantic vibe as we were talking business. The restaurant and staff present a very inviting atmosphere. Food, this is where i was disappointed. the Bread at the beginning was very good/ with salted butter. I ordered the salted radish appetizer and it honestly just felt like salted radishes on top of a puree that i didn't really care for. So would put this as a 5/10 in terms of rating. I got the rabbit, which was recommended as being the best entree option. i have never had rabbit previously and wanted to try it. I thought it was OK, but not very memorable. It did taste like dark meat chicken. however the chick peas they were served with were underdone (crunchy in texture) and simply not that good. Our dessert, blueberry Tres Leches, was the best of the 3. My dining companions had a variety of things (striped bass, meatballs), but no one was raving about their food. Service was quite nice. would give this more like a 3.5 out of 5, as the atmosphere and service were good. Sadly won't be returning.

However, the kitchen fails to deliver quality or good tasting meals, despite the well-sourced food. The menu is prix fixe. 2 appetizers and an entree, or 1 appetizer, entree and dessert. The salmon tartare was salty, too salty. The kefta balls were over salted as well. The onion tarte shell was so hard it could barely be chipped away to eat. When we mentioned this to our server, the response was we get more complaints about the tarte than any other appetizer. I was surprised to see that the appetizers were all served at the same time, so by the time, I ate the cold salmon, the warm kefta, besides being salty was also cool - might have been more appealing if warmer. The rabbit entree was dry, overcooked and tasteless. The accompanying garbanzo beans were undercooked, crunchy and too salty. The food highlight was the family style vegetables. Beets, onions, asparagus were alright; the sugar snap peas which still had strings were not as good. The dessert were disappointing as the rest of the meal. The macaron was brick hard, so hard, we had to ask for a fork and knife to chip hunks off of it. Tasteless. After we departed, my dinner companion said she wished we had sent the dessert back, it was so hard and inedible that we left most of it. Bramble & Hare has a few things going for it: Service was spot on, attentive, helpful and friendly. The wine list is very good. Ambience is pleasant and the dining room is quiet. I really wanted to like Bramble & Hare as the farm to table concept appeals, but with the poor food preparation, this is a tough restaurant to like.
