In general, Colorado's KBBQ AYCE scene is still pretty weak even after all these years compared to the LA options. The AYCE menu at Dae Gee is pretty weak. You only get galbi once and the rest are mostly pork belly, chicken, and variations of beef. It doesn't include appetizers like seafood pancake. So unless you love pork belly, I would stay away from it. It's very pricey for what you are allowed to choose from. We opted to order from the menu. I love galbi so that had to be ordered. The other short rib option (don't remember the name) was also added to our order along with shrimp for my mom. Everything we ordered wasn't even offered on the AYCE menu. The galbi is pretty pricey for what we got. It was roughly $35 for a few pieces. I am honestly better off buying it at Costco for more galbi for roughly the same price. Menu is very expensive for the quantity you get. Food was pretty good. The meats were well marinated. The fried chicken was good. The seafood pancake was okay - kinda soft for my liking. I wish it was crispier (could have been thrown in the air fryer). The side dishes were pretty okay. The potato salad was my favorite. The kimchi cucumbers were soggier than I like a the kimchi wasn't my fave. Service was wonderful. There was one person waiting the whole restaurant but maybe they're slower on a Wed. She was very friendly and always smiling.

This place has great food. Just did 2 lunch specials that came with all the sides in my pictures. Can't recall the name of the dishes my friend and I had but the food was delicious. There is a 2 beer for 10 special that runs all the time. I will go back.

We made a reservation ahead of time and the operator was super nice and accommodating, even when we needed to change it. The food is always fresh and reasonably priced. Just a quick heads-up--if you do the all-you-can-eat option, everyone at your table has to do the same. Other than that, it's always a fun experience here with great staff who make it enjoyable every time.

Just threw the meat on the grill.

Pros - Brisket (chadol) from the lunch unlimited is good - Attentive service Cons - For our lunch unlimited we were asked to eat a sampler before ordering specific cuts of meat as part of the AYCE (all you can eat). See below summary for more on this - Soups aren't included - Bulgogi could use more flavor - No garlic I was not happy that we were asked to go through the sampler platter that includes samgyupsal, brisket, spicy/non spicy pork and spicy/non-spicy chicken. I don't want to eat chicken at a KBBQ and I don't really care for pork so why does it feel like I need to do some homework/chore before I can order what I want to eat? That is so weird to me. I asked the waitress if she could take back the chicken, which she did. But we still had to eat the pork, and we did not care for it, and if it was up to us we would NOT order it. Our stomach space was wasted on this. Brisket is why we came. Overall there are better KBBQs out there. I would have given it two stars but our service was good and that should be rewarded so I'm adding one more star.

This was my second Korean BBQ experience...and my favorite one! The meats and sides were absolutely perfect, and the patio was the most beautiful setting for a team dinner! Our servers were very attentive, even with a few grills going. They even allowed us to move to a bigger table so we could have more grills! Would definitely dine again!

Be sure to visit when you are hungry because all you can eat is plentiful and you cannot take any leftovers with you. Rib-eye, pork belly, chicken, spicy pork, brisket, and short ribs (dinner only, one serving) comes with unlimited sides of potato salad, rice, kimchi, daikon, fish cakes, kimchi pancakes and rice. Use onion and pineapple to flavor your grill before placing your meat on it to cook. Service was attentive and fast. When one of our grill tops got too hot and charred, a replacement was brought out. I also like how their water pitchers and glasses are made of stainless steel to keep your beverage cool. Be prepared for meat sweats because DAE Gee's slogan - Pig Out, is no joke.

I like this place, the food is delicious, we were given a table pretty fast. I love their side dishes and potato salad is my favorite! Our server was a really nice girl, she was super attentive, but she was changing the temperature of our grill each time the approached us and we had to adjust it back, but she was still nice. Pork belly is good, but short ribs are must try!

So disappointed that we made a reservation (with multiple text confirmations) for my Mom's birthday. My parents drove from Colorado Springs as well as 2 others, all for the restaurant to have forgotten the reservation all together.

It has been too long since the last time we had Korean BBQ. We ordered the meal for two which has a variety of BBQ meats to choose from. Pork belly, beef bulgogi, & spicy garlic chicken. Traditional side dishes like white rice, kimchi, pickled radishes, potatoes and broccoli slaw was given to accompany the meats. All of the meats tasted like quality meat that have been marinated in all the essential Korean spices. It was a fantastic experience with service and food. The dining area is clean and provided for spacious seating options. I would definitely come back here.

Authentic Korean bbq in Colorado ! It's nice to know if you want to go escape and eat food with flavors you don't always have this is a the go to spot ! The unlimited bbq was more then enough I couldn't even make it to a round 2 !

I think Dae Gee is Ok if you're in the neighborhood and have a craving for Korean BBQ. From reading the other reviews, it does sound like one needs to fully understand the pricing when they're ordering - particularly the AYCE options. I was there for a late lunch, so things were slow. I thought the food was good, the atmosphere Ok, and the service Ok.

    2. Sam Gyeob Sal (thinly sliced pork) and 6. Chadol (Brisket) for the win!

We got the classic soondae soup with bone broth and spicy soondae soup, both without intestines. The soondae was very chewy and the classic broth was on the lighter side. They ddukbokki took awhile to come out but once we got it, we enjoyed how it tasted like classic spicy rice cake with fish cake in it. It only had half of a boiled egg, but it was still good paired with the spicy and sweet sauce. They had lots of seating indoors. Definitely will be coming back to try more items.

At least for lunch combo, the thoughtful assortment of main dish and side dishes as well as soup of the day are very satisfactory. Their food is little bit more on a savory side compared to other Korean restaurants who use too many spices. Before I met Baekga, i was pretty disappointed in local franchises of Korean eateries in Colorado, but Baekga not only they have very calm and toned down atmosphere for pleasant meals, it is the venue I would actually bring my visitors to. The location is little far for me to explore their dinner menus but I would love to when I am nearby next time. Champagne kimchi was inspiring. I never had any kind of Kimchi taste like this. I really praise for the creativity. It would be a good pair with a variety of food such as charcuterie board, katsu, sausage dish, barbecue, and simple with wine! I personally liked Dakgangjeong, Beef radish soup (soup of the day), and champagne kimchi from my visit. Frankly, this venue maybe a polarizing Korean restaurant especially for Korean natives, but I personally think this venue deserves more recognition compared to other local Korean franchise in Denver/Aurora who just serve the food items but not the sincerity and/or creativity.

I'm glad we came and discovered another restaurant we can add to our list. It's def a more modern Korean restaurant from the interior alone. But food was delicious. I was interested in a lot of items on the menu u so it was hard to choose from. The dakgalbi lunch special was an actual full on lunch with sides and soup. The galbi tang was pretty good. The meat is some of the best I've had in CO. It was very tender and fell off the bone very easily. The La galbi was so good and flavorful. When it's mixed with the onions and veggies and rice, everything tastes really good combined. I would skip on the pancakes because they were a little burnt. We saw a different one come out and it was also burnt. Otherwise, eat around because it's quite flavorful.
