    Chicken Wings go dummyy!!

So delicious!! I went for lunch and then the next morning came back for brunch. Breakfast is top tier and the chicken wings and burgers are fire. Owner Sukhy is one of a kind, very bubbly, and everyone loves her, they make you feel right at home here! Everyone is friendly from customers to staff. True mom and pop spot ! The vibes here are the best.

Wow, really impressed and surprised... we were waiting to do our tax return but wanted to grab a bite to eat first. The outside of this establishment doesn't look like much but when you step inside- the good ole vibe comes alive! The cute expansive outdoor eating area is so charming with bar decor! Hubby and I had the blue cheese burger and a hot pastrami sandwich- fries and onion rings to go along with this. Onion rings were crunchy, huge, and oh so tasty with a dusting of Parmesan cheese and drizzled with a balsamic reduction. Fries were crunchy and delish. I enjoyed the pastrami sandwich very much and my husbands blue cheese burger was also delish. Big juicy and tasty! Would definitely return off in the Fair Oaks area again!! Oh also have small games to play- dart board inside.

    menu description

Parking lot empty on a Sat around noon. Service was slow with only 2 tables to serve. Food was mediocre to terrible. Chicken fried steak breakfast was mediocre. I agree w Brian's review of the french dip meat. Check out the pic of the "thinly sliced" french dip which was a big disappointment (being polite). It came w barely warm fries. After trying to eat the sandwich, I asked the server how the meat was fixed. She replied "sliced" beef. After I showed her, she talked to the "cook" & they said it's sliced, then chopped. I'd call it cube steak - Ridiculous! To the server's credit, they offered to talk to the manager to see if we wouldn't be charged. I declined & regretted that decision. I couldn't wait to get out of there. We hadn't been to Dad's in many years & was hoping to make it a regular spot as we eat out frequently.

Ordered the Dad's burger, like always! So good, like always! Had a soup I have never had before and it was good. The bar tender was great as he was running around helping a big group in the party room. It's so cozy here and the place feels welcoming.

We were looking for a place to have a fun dinner date and Dad's recently opened down the street from us. My fiancée had been to the old location in downtown Sac and insisted that we try out the new location since she liked the old one. We had also heard reviews about how it was just as good if not better than the old location. We got there on an early weekday afternoon so it wasn't too busy yet, but there was still a few groups of people. We walked into some great music and the SF giants on tv. The beer selection was pretty good, with a good bit of local breweries. We started our meal off with the southwest eggrolls and pretzel with beer cheese and this may have been my favorite thing on the menu, but I love snacks and appetizers. It was everything you'd imagine a perfect pretzel would be, plus the beer cheese was fantastic too and the eggrolls were great! As for our main course, she got the Caesar Chicken Wrap, and I got the pastrami sandwich (subbed for onion rings). Both were very considerable portions, especially after the large apps we both shared. I unfortunately forgot to snag more pics of the rest of the meal by my pastrami sandwich was fantastic! I would definitely recommend checking out Dad's if you're in the area

We had an outstanding experience at Dad's Kitchen. Nowadays, the way to go is to stick with the burgers or sandwiches. They also have the skinnier fries, not the steak fries. Much improved there. My sister and I both got the drunken chicken sandwich. It was really good. I'll say it could use some more flavoring/sauce. The bun was a little bit bland as well. But I would still order it again maybe ask for a different bun. It was still well done! My sister opted to upgrade to a side salad. It was a good size salad and she loved it. They used good quality ingredients as well, not just iceberg lettuce. My brother-in-law got the max burger. It was a double patty. I forget the name, but he really enjoyed it. My Mom got the chicken Caesar wrap. I will definitely get that next time. It looked delicious and she really enjoyed it as well. They have some nice beers on tap although they do run out often. And a few semi decent wine selections.

So delicious. Dad's Burger with onion rings.

Food was delicious again! I had the Cowboy Burger, friends had Dad's Burger, New and Improved French Dip, and the Blonde Sandwich. We all love our food and the great fries. It is very noisy but our waitress has a loud enough voice we could hear her over all the noise.

This is now our Dad's since we don't have the Land Park location anymore. RIP thnks fr th mmrs. This one is farther away from where I live but still very worth the trip. One of my favorite places to watch sportsball while I have some breakfast. As one does. Food at Dad's has always been solid. Whatever you order, it'll be great! I do wish they had more meatless options. But I get by. Vegans would have a harder time. My favorite breakfast items are the chilaquiles and the vegetarian-ized eggs benny. They have two options there and one has savory tangy chipotle hollandaise, which I highly recommend trying! And it's always nice to wash down your hearty meal with a mimosa. They have several fruit juices to choose from too if OJ isn't your thing. Bottomless? Yes that's an option. Dad's also makes a legit Bloody Mary, one of the best in town in fact. We don't have to worry about finding a seat because this place is pretty spacious, even the bar area aka the best seat in the house. I appreciate the rotating tap list and how there's always a dark beer for me. Everyone who works here is amazing and I love them. I'm happy to still have a Dad's to hang out at. PS Fair Oaks Dad's has a full bar !

Stopped in for dinner while running errands in the area. Why haven't we come here before? Dad's has been around for a while and seems to be a huge favorite based on the crowd that was there while we were at dinner. The vibe is quaint and cozy, and the food is spectacular. My wife had the double smash burger, and I had the green machine, with blue cheese habanero fries, and a salad. Have to tell you, my wife almost had to fight me off to keep her burger to herself. That thing was simply fantastic. My green machine was a veggie sandwich and it was extremely tasty. Lots of veggies with cream cheese and pepper plant oil, which gives it a nice zing. But honestly, the star of the show was that burger. Fantastic beef flavor clearly made right before bringing it to our table, and the right mixture of juicy-cheesy-beefy and a little tomato and lettuce. We also had a giant pretzel with beer cheese, and it stacks up really well against a lot of other places that have it. So: ambience - great, food - amazing, wait staff - very friendly. The only thing that kept it from being a full five stars was a little chaotic seating/ordering/attentive wait staff. The wait staff was perfectly pleasant, it just seemed like the busy night was a little too much for them. Just go on a slower night or outside of dinner hours, and you'll be in heaven. Promise!

I started going to Dads Kitchen in Land Park over 10 years ago. It was one of my husband and I's favorite date night spots! I'm glad to see the quality of food has carried over to this location - one of the best burgers you'll find in California! The staff was very friendly and welcoming as always. Dad's is just the place to be. If you want to feel like a local visit Dad's - good for the stomach and soul.

If you're not online, this place would go unnoticed but shoutout to the birthday boy, my friend, as he has been here before and talked about it a lot. The wait is over and I must say I've been missing out. Hidden from street view, this spot has a great outdoor patio space. Skeptical we had a table there because we were eating during peak triple digit heat, but the space had everything to ensure guests were comfortable. Ceiling fans that actually work and water misters that didn't leave a wet mess. Incomes the drinks and food. Happy hour always makes me happy. Snagged a lager and brisket tacos. One could say it looks basic and nothing special but boy is it flavorful. Decently sized chunks of brisket. Nothing melt in your mouth but had that softness that made it easy to chew. The pairing of the sauce was nice to balance out the saltiness of the meat. Grab them tissues cause it's a juicy one. A bit pricey, $12 for 2 tacos but def a nice splurge. Down to business. Burger choice for my first visit, definitely not the last, was The Peach Pit - that double patty, rosemary aioli, bacon crumbles, Swiss cheese, spinach, and our house made peach chutney, served on a toasted brioche bun. Solid choice. The beef was juicy, cooked to my liking (surprised they didn't ask how we liked ours cooked). The cross section of the burger is elite. Layers of ingredients adding to the flavors of each bite. I'm a sucker for Tabasco sauce so I couldn't really taste the peach chutney, but I do remember what I believe was a peach slice fall out of the burger. 10/10 would recommend. Just be prepared to use the napkins. It's a sauce/juicy one. Fries were standard. Crisp, fresh. My friends ordered other burgers that looked good. I was able to try some of the garlic fries and pesto sauce. Rich and tasty. Trust. I will be back for their burgers sooner than later. Who is with me? Let's gooooo! Come here on a special day and you may get a birthday card as well! Great effort Brahma!

Our server, Jaden, came over to the table right away to introduce himself, provide water, and ask if I wanted to get started with any drinks. I ordered the Pink Pony and later the cosmopolitan, and eggs benedict for breakfast. My meal was quite delicious and I finished every morsel on my plate. The poached eggs were done perfectly and I really enjoyed the potatos. We were seated in the interior dining room to the left of the entry and I did not check out the other interior areas of the restaurant, but I loved the Mid Century Modern / Palm Springs vibe. I especially loved the "fly fan" on each table to use because the bar behind where we were sitting was open to the outside. We did not have an issue with flies but the fans are a nice and considerate touch. Jaden provided excellent customer service, checking back as our drinks got low, and checking back on the food, which we all very much enjoyed. When we left there was some live music outside, but we did not stay as it was a pretty warm Sunday on 6/14/26, but I will most definitely return. I'm especially looking forward to returning in the evening when the weather gets a little cooler toward the end of summer. This is a really fun place, with great food and great service!

There was plenty of seating on the shady patio, but it was really hot outside, so we opted to wait for a table inside. We had a drink and watched the NBA finals on the TVs (there was no sound so it wasn't noisy). I tried the Mustang Sally cocktail and it was well balanced and delicious! We were seated for dinner pretty quickly. The only problem I had was deciding what to order. The luau shrimp salad? Meatball sub? I finally decided on the lobster mac and cheese. While the portion wasn't large, it was delicious! Creamy and mild with fresh lobster (not fishy) and garlicy breadcrumbs. My husband got the ribeye and was thin but large with great seasoning and veggies. I'm not a big steak fan but I really liked it. We ended up grabbing some beignets to go for the kids, which were really tasty and came with 3 dipping sauces (our favorite was the Berry, although we ended up eating most of them without sauce). The atmosphere was upscale, but very casual, quiet and fun. We saw families with young children, couples on dates, and friends enjoying a meal together. It was the perfect vibe that we were looking for, comfortable, but classy. And the food was high-quality and tasty. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I visited yesterday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, the experience…read moregot off to a disappointing start. Upon entering, the hostess with the brown curly hair was noticeably rude and unwelcoming, which isn't the first impression you'd hope for when celebrating a special occasion. The food, however, was outstanding and was definitely the highlight of the evening. Every dish we ordered was well-prepared and delicious. Service was a mixed experience. While our server was polite, the service was quite slow throughout the meal, despite the restaurant being fairly empty at the time. Overall, the excellent food helped make up for some of the service issues, but the rude greeting and slow service took away from what should have been a memorable anniversary dinner. I hope management addresses these concerns, as the kitchen is clearly doing a great job.

We all loved our food but portions are so large we all needed boxes to go. Two of us had pastrami & Swiss sandwiches on a hoagie roll. Another had the Wyatt Earp steak sandwich, and the last had a French dip sandwich. Two of the ladies had coleslaw and loved it. I had the Mac & Cheese which was delicious - I shared a taste with my friend and she ordered some to take home! We all decided we need to come back often. So many great choices on the menus.

I especially loved that my side meat was a ham steak -- such a nice change from the usual options. The flavors were great, and everything was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the meatloaf breakfast and said he loved it as well. It was great to see a menu with unique options that go beyond the typical breakfast choices. The customer service was truly top-notch. Our coffee cups were always full, everyone was friendly, and it genuinely looked like the staff enjoyed being there. That kind of positive energy makes a big difference. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back!
