I always like coming here to grab a drink either with friends or if I'm in the area stopping by somewhere close by to eat. I really love how there's plenty of seating, a wide variety of beer and how nice the employees are. I was recently here with a group of friends and tried one of their sours as we were waiting for our reservation at a restaurant nearby. The inside was well kept. I really like all the decorations. I definitely recommend that you check this place out.

The beer was good and that's what matters. Not really my kind of crowd then again I'm brown and no one else there was. I went with my brother, son, his friend and my 5 year old daughter. Service was just ok as well. My kids played the golf game, foosball, pool and the free PAC Man game. I had to put some country on, of course Morgan Wallen because the music was horrible.

Invited some friends who live in El Dorado Hills to join us for a beer and Fort Rock is a great place to hang out and enjoy a beer. They have a good selection and we can bring our dog. During the hot weather this is important for us. You can bring your own food or order food when there is a food truck. The staff are very nice and helpful with recommendations. We always end up talking to other customers and our dog always makes friends.

Stumbled across this spot on our way to play mini golf. It's spacious and designed to hang out it. We just had a beer each. They had a decent variety. I'd love to come back another time and just hang out and maybe play darts.

Halfway done with my Whitney Brewston- perfect after meal drink!

Opened 8 years ago in the Nimbus Winery building- VERY dog friendly (owner always has treats!) .Dartboards, video games, family friendly atmosphere. Brewery open during the week and bar area open. 11-8 daily. Service excellent, efficient and personable from bartender Aaron. no food but you can bring in items from elsewhere.

Chill Saturday evening, AC and delicious slushees!! A great place to stop off Hwy 50, easy parking, good beers, fun spot.

Lake girl American light lager. Nice and refreshing on hot summer days.

Always love stopping by this brewery whenever I'm in rancho. The beer is cold, refreshing and flavorful. The service is always friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is lively just like any other craft brewery. Definitely one of my favorite spots to check out whenever I'm in the mood for a cold beer.

Been here many times In 2024 and over the years. Never disappoints! The IPA and foggy goggles DIPA always a treat. Staff always friendly. Its a great place to bring pups or just chill with friends. Inside outside dining . Seating at the bar too. They have darts. Golden Tee golf and touchtunes jukebox. Food as well. And beers to go! Its in the old spaghetti factory nimbus winery building

I miss California beers and their sister alcoholic beverages. That being said, I was recommended a sour and loved it, super fruit-forward! We also had the pleasure of receiving a small tour of the process by the proprieter himself. I asked many questions, it just seemed so cool plus it was eveident that he wanted the group to learn and not just be lectured at. Beer is not my first choice so I was happy to see the other options including seltzers. Interior: The space inside almost feels like an outdoor vibe with lots of open walking space, a huge wrap-around bar and bistro lights. Enjoyed my time here, thanks for the tasty drink!

Ask the Community - Fort Rock Brewing

Do they sell merch (I.e T-shirt's, glasses) with their logo? If so, how big of shirt sizes for men?

It is a Law Firm

Do they have air conditioning?

Does Yelp rock? Yes indeed they have AC!

Do they have any of their own food or is it order from spaghetti factory only?

They do not have their own food, but you can bring in any outside food. I also believe some of the local Pizza places will deliver to Fort Rock as well. Hope this helps!

They have a good sized patio to be able to sit outside and enjoy your beverages. Inside they have bar seating or tons of table seating at well. Their beer selection is pretty good, they have everything from light beers, to ipas, hard seltzers and sours. There was a little line at their ordering register, which gave me time to browse their menu. When it was my turn I wasn't 100% sure what to order so I asked the lady at the counter a couple questions and she was nice enough to take the time and guide me to what I might be interested in and let me try a couple. In the end I ordered their All The Way West IPA and a blood orange, elderberry seltzer. Both were good, the seltzer reminded me of a juice squeeze. It sounds like they usually have good trucks, but that specific day the food truck was a no show. Overall a great little spot to enjoy some brews with friends and family!

I say that because when I entered I thought I was coming into a small little brewery but was suprised to find a pretty big place. Not only does it have the a bunch of seating areas to the side but they have a large open space in the back. Of course it was a cloudly day so we opted to stay inside. This place has a nice vibe with different seating areas and smaller areas if you want to stay away from the crowd. They also have some single seats and an area with a bunch of different games. Really suprised at how big this place is. Service: The beertender was very helpful letting us try out different drinks and providing some information on what we might lake based on taste. We didn't get too much interaction after we served our drinks but it was a good interaction and means we were able to get our drinks real quick. Drinks: I ended up getting the coffee stout made from Kingdom Coffee Roaster beans and was suprised about how light it was. I couldn't resist once I actually tasted it. While not a dark rich stout it still had a creamy light finish and honestly was something that I would order again. Defintely a place worth checking out if breweries are your thing!

I was torn between two drinks, and the bartender was super sweet, she let me sample both and even offered a third based on what I told her I liked. I wish I remembered what it was called, but her recommendation was on point: super fresh, great flavor, and exactly what I didn't know I needed. The food looked solid from what I saw others eating, so I definitely want to come back and actually try it next time. The back patio was also a whole vibe! Lots of seating, games, and great energy. It was freezing the night we were there, but the big fire pits made it totally bearable. I can only imagine how fun this place is in the summertime. Hanging out here with friends on a warm night? Definitely on my list.

Big wins there. However, I'm going to throw out a complaint that throws off the vibe and why I only tip 10%. This switch to funneled counter service creates a disconnected experience where the servers and bartenders don't seem to matter. You stand in a long line that takes forever to get through. Beers aren't even listed on the overhead monitors. You feel rushed to put in your order because you're aware of everyone who is waiting behind you. Get your food, put your buzzer on a table. Someone shows up with it. When you need a drink, you have to get up and navigate a line, again. Again, I'm tipping 10% for that at most. This is counter service. If I have to get up, stand in line and get my own drinks? Not a premium experience. But the prices here? It feels really disconnected. You're charging $10 for a beer? I have to get up and stand in line to get one... It all just looks like and feels like someone who designed this workflow hasn't been in the service industry. Too many awkward disconnection points and a lack of continuity. Imagine you went to a bar with 5,000 sqft and everyone was funneled into a line with two registers. There are 30+ taps. They're charging a premium for food and beverage. It's a great space. Food is good. Staff is fine. But the vibe is just off. The story arc when you walk in to when you leave feels weird. Like a top-down edict from management trying to force patrons into an unnatural workflow trying to improve one part of the business while compromising 7 others, losing whatever soul in the process. And the tap selection is lazy. I'll update my review if the vibe changes. It's just painful to see such a great space so awkwardly used. It even mostly works until the execution falls flat. I mean, imagine having a drink and knowing you're going to have to wait 20 minutes in a line to get another one on a lazy Sunday afternoon. It's... weird. It's 2-stars weird. Someone thought this was a good idea?

The ribs were tender and meaty, the sauce was very different to my usual sauces, I usually prefer sweeter maybe honey bbq sauces but this complimented the seasonings perfectly.
