Awesome little brewery! Tucked away in a little industrial area. There's a huge parking lot, very easy to get a spot. This place is huge. They have a good sized patio to be able to sit outside and enjoy your beverages. Inside they have bar seating or tons of table seating at well. Their beer selection is pretty good, they have everything from light beers, to ipas, hard seltzers and sours. There was a little line at their ordering register, which gave me time to browse their menu. When it was my turn I wasn't 100% sure what to order so I asked the lady at the counter a couple questions and she was nice enough to take the time and guide me to what I might be interested in and let me try a couple. In the end I ordered their All The Way West IPA and a blood orange, elderberry seltzer. Both were good, the seltzer reminded me of a juice squeeze. It sounds like they usually have good trucks, but that specific day the food truck was a no show. Overall a great little spot to enjoy some brews with friends and family! read more

There's plenty of space here for the wonderful Swing Collective to perform music from the jazz era, complete with vocals. This is a good indoor space for music, dance, and refreshment with the brew of your choice. I had a pint of their light Czech lager last Saturday evening. I appreciated the option of making one of their drink specials a mocktail for me. Elderberry Lemonade was perfect. On this, my second visit, the place has only gotten better. Busy on a Tuesday night with a lot of guests and even line dancing in the next room over makes this a lively and fun place to be. Food options are limited so the food truck is a nice option just feet from the front door. Inside there are some snacks available. This includes my favorite local sourced Caramel Popcorn. The last band where the lead singer had a fake neck brace, but was so good. Movement does it right, takes care of its customers, has such good consistent beers--awesome collabs, but most of all is the amazing staff. We rented the Parlor room for our baby shower and we couldn't have been happier! The manager Kaity was very accommodating and handled all of our questions and concerns quickly. The day of the event we had Erik as our bartender and he was awesome! Movement Brewing is such a fun spot to explore if you're into craft beer. Their flight options are super customizable and a great way to try a variety without committing to a full pour. As an IPA girlie, I was greatly enjoying all of their options. Their selection leaned hop-forward but with enough variation that each pour felt distinct (no overlap or redundancy in flavors). There is typically a rotating food vendor to grab food at. We lucked out with a solid quesadilla drizzled in a flavorful sauce and a soft pretzel with a cheesy dip and both hit the spot. The space itself is definitely family friendly, with plenty of outdoor seating. Just note: the seating is essentially in a parking lot in between large warehouses, so while it's laid back and open, it's not the most scenic atmosphere. I have been to this brewery a few times and loved my experience. Everyone who works here is very nice and helpful. The environment is really cool with big tables, places to stand, and games to play. Check out their social media for upcoming events. When I was recently here, there was a car show along with pet adoptions. This place seems to have a lot going on and is worth checking out. Out of the times I've been here, there's always been a food truck, which is really nice. This brewery also has their own snacks such as chips and salsa for purchase if you were not wanting the food truck. I love the slushies that were offered over the summer. They were really tasty. I wanted a good beer so I yelped places near where I was at . This brewery came up and decided to check it out . They had plenty of parking space, so parking was easy . They have rotating food trucks lucky for us that day they had pupusas which is Salvadoran food. The food truck was called Hernandez Pupuseria Tati. The food was delicious. Inside the brewery the space is big they have a whole separate room / space with a lots of tables and a corn hole game . They have nice wall art and some old school arcade games I believe 2 of them . The brewery is spacious with plenty of seating. We went to their 5 year anniversary party and got there shortly after they opened. It was circus themed with stilt walkers and games outside to keep kids entertained. There was also live music. It was a bit loud with the music outside and the speakers playing music inside though. Joint kid's birthday party at the Parlor at Movement We hosted a joint birthday party (for two 8 year olds and a 9 year old) in the private event space (The Parlor) at Movement, and it was such a unique and fun venue for both kids and adults! While a brewery might not be the first place that comes to mind for a children's party, the space was incredibly versatile and worked perfectly for our needs. We brought in our own decorations, games, and food, and the staff (especially Kaity Peachy) was super accommodating every step of the way. Sarah allowed us early access to set up, helped with any questions we had and made sure everything ran smoothly without being intrusive. The space was clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for kids to move around while the adults could relax and enjoy a drink. The flexibility of being able to set up our own activities (we did an escape room, face painting, etc.) made it feel personal and special. Plus, the casual atmosphere meant everyone felt comfortable. It was the perfect blend of a fun kids' party and a relaxed gathering for parents, most parents said "BEST kid's party EVER!". Popped in for a quick cool me down, on our long drive to a friends house in Folsom and so HAPPY we did. The vibe here was super casual, with ample sitting indoors and a good amount of people enjoying the live music. Prices were very cheap overall esp. compared to what we're used to in the bay area - and they had a variety of beers/ciders/etc. Service was great - appreciated the tastings to make sure we're happy with what we decided on. There was also a pop-up food vendor outside that had personal size pizzas' - so we caved & ordered 3 which were SOOOO GOOOD!!! The crust was beautiful, and the toppings were unique & flavorful. Usually it's the Fruitonic but this last time they had a sour that was amazing and a beer called the Whipped Wrangler which was ah-mazing. The service is always great with very nice and talkative bartenders who always recommend and recommend correctly something they think I would like. The establishment like a lot of brewery's are in an industrial part of Rancho Cordova but that didn't stop them from putting up a nice patio and between the inside and outside there is always seating. They usually also have snacks on hand like chips and salsa you can purchase and every time I have been there a food truck has been out front. We attended an event that was held here on Sunday with Barks & Brew. All the adorable doggos that came were so sweet and playful. Inviting atmosphere with all the guests and staff. Two huge rooms full of tables and seats as well as the outside patio. The brew were awesome. From lager to hazy IPAs/ IPAs to stouts and fruit seltzers. They even make micheladas which I love very much. Definitely have to try their lager by itself next time. I wasn't too big of a fan on the fruit seltzer.
