Hi-ya! We've been coming here for a long time, and been here most recently for their anniversary and they had a lot of bands out there. The last band where the lead singer had a fake neck brace, but was so good. Movement does it right, takes care of its customers, has such good consistent beers--awesome collabs, but most of all is the amazing staff. It's great to see consistent faces and good service Love dude monster as a steady goto, but enough new beers release not too much, but timely and always so good. Love this place!

Movement Brewing is such a fun spot to explore if you're into craft beer. Their flight options are super customizable and a great way to try a variety without committing to a full pour. As an IPA girlie, I was greatly enjoying all of their options. Their selection leaned hop-forward but with enough variation that each pour felt distinct (no overlap or redundancy in flavors). There is typically a rotating food vendor to grab food at. We lucked out with a solid quesadilla drizzled in a flavorful sauce and a soft pretzel with a cheesy dip and both hit the spot. The space itself is definitely family friendly, with plenty of outdoor seating. Just note: the seating is essentially in a parking lot in between large warehouses, so while it's laid back and open, it's not the most scenic atmosphere. That said, the community vibes, good beer, and solid food made it an easy place to hang out. Will absolutely be back.

** Hoppy times** If you're looking for a laid-back spot to sip on some unique, high-quality brews, look no further than this charming family-owned brewery. Though smaller than your typical taproom( the parlor at movement) this place packs a big punch with its innovative twist on craft beers. They have an outstanding selection of hazy IPAs that are juicy, smooth, and full of flavor--perfect for any hop lover. If you're into seltzers and sours, you're in for a treat, as they offer some incredibly refreshing options that'll keep you coming back for more. What really sets this place apart is the chance to sample their brews before committing to a full pour, so you can truly explore the depth of their lineup and find your favorites. It's a cozy, relaxed environment where you can kick back, catch a game, and enjoy a great beer in great company. This was a perfect place for our family party! The staff were friendly and accommodating and even let us use an air pump to pump up our balloons!! All in all, this is the perfect spot to spend a weekend afternoon unwinding with friends, trying something new, and savoring some truly craft beers. Highly recommend this hidden gem! Other: -$$$ -plenty of parking -parlor is for private events and the movement is right next door -bathrooms inside -food trucks

I have been to this brewery a few times and loved my experience. Everyone who works here is very nice and helpful. The environment is really cool with big tables, places to stand, and games to play. Check out their social media for upcoming events. When I was recently here, there was a car show along with pet adoptions. This place seems to have a lot going on and is worth checking out. Out of the times I've been here, there's always been a food truck, which is really nice. This brewery also has their own snacks such as chips and salsa for purchase if you were not wanting the food truck. I love the slushies that were offered over the summer. They were really tasty. I also like the sours, and light beers. I highly recommend that you check out Movement Brewing because this is a good place to hang out and have a good time.

I wanted a good beer so I yelped places near where I was at . This brewery came up and decided to check it out . They had plenty of parking space, so parking was easy . They have rotating food trucks lucky for us that day they had pupusas which is Salvadoran food. The food truck was called Hernandez Pupuseria Tati. The food was delicious. Inside the brewery the space is big they have a whole separate room / space with a lots of tables and a corn hole game . They have nice wall art and some old school arcade games I believe 2 of them . The beer was very tasty the staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely very welcoming. Overall we had a great time here . We would definitely be back .

This is quickly become one of my favorite breweries in the greater Sacramento area. The beertenders are all so nice, the setting is spacious and caters to larger crowds and small groups, there is always a good food truck, sometimes live music and the beer is always fresh and crisp. I might have to visit today!

According to Merriam-Webster, Movement is, "the act or process of moving," which is ironic because the only thing I'm doing there is sitting on my behind and drinking beers. This place is awesome and the best brewery on Sunrise Blvd by far. The beer is superb and everyone that works there is as friendly as they come. While the beer certainly takes center stage, what sets this place ahead of every other brewery in the "Barrel District," is the vibe and atmosphere.

Movement Brewing in Rancho Cordova is a local gem--the kind of place that feels like home from the moment you walk through its warehouse‑style doors. With upbeat, friendly service and a vibrant yet laid‑back atmosphere (think '80s/'90s rock soundtracked nights and plenty of communal high‑top seating). Movement really captures the casual good-times spirit that keeps people coming back. The tap lineup is equally impressive, offering something for every beer lover: crisp lagers like the fan‑favorite Uncle Money Pilsner, bold IPAs across hazy, West Coast, and imperial styles (Dude Monster, Pogs & Slammers, Beer of Kings), and even playful hard-seltzer sips like Frutonic: Watermelon Lemonade. I especially love sampling their rotating specials--always fresh, creative, and well-balanced. What really sets Movement apart, though, is the attention to presentation and their collector-friendly beer can labels. Their cans showcase vibrant, funky designs that pop--and they're not content with just drinking the beer. These labels have become sought-after by local brewery enthusiasts. That says a lot about the branding care taken here--each release feels like a mini art project you can take home (or frame). Whether you're grabbing a flight, lounging with friends. watching a game or just soaking in the community vibes, Movement delivers on quality, creativity, and character. The labels aren't just packaging--they're conversation starters and memorabilia-worthy keepsakes. Highlights: * Atmosphere: Relaxed industrial taproom with games, music, and super welcoming staff * Beer Variety: Stellar range--from crushable lagers to decadent IPAs, stouts, and fruity sours * Collectible Labels: Ultra-appealing can artwork that are becoming collectibles If you're in the Sacramento region or making a trip to Rancho Cordova, do yourself a favor--head to Movement. Sample a flight, bring home some killer cans, and be ready to add a few label pieces to your collection. This is craft with personality and heart--and a dash of artistic flair. Cheers!

So tasty and refreshing on this hot dawg day! First time here and am excited to explore a super local spot. For those that are curious, I'm having the strawberry hop water for tasty hydration and the baby Life Like a Hurricane Sour and baby pour of Fruitonic IPA.

Joint kid's birthday party at the Parlor at Movement We hosted a joint birthday party (for two 8 year olds and a 9 year old) in the private event space (The Parlor) at Movement, and it was such a unique and fun venue for both kids and adults! While a brewery might not be the first place that comes to mind for a children's party, the space was incredibly versatile and worked perfectly for our needs. We brought in our own decorations, games, and food, and the staff (especially Kaity Peachy) was super accommodating every step of the way. Sarah allowed us early access to set up, helped with any questions we had and made sure everything ran smoothly without being intrusive. The space was clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for kids to move around while the adults could relax and enjoy a drink. The flexibility of being able to set up our own activities (we did an escape room, face painting, etc.) made it feel personal and special. Plus, the casual atmosphere meant everyone felt comfortable. It was the perfect blend of a fun kids' party and a relaxed gathering for parents, most parents said "BEST kid's party EVER!". Would definitely recommend this option to anyone looking for something a little different but still family-friendly!

Popped in for a quick cool me down, on our long drive to a friends house in Folsom and so HAPPY we did. The vibe here was super casual, with ample sitting indoors and a good amount of people enjoying the live music. Prices were very cheap overall esp. compared to what we're used to in the bay area - and they had a variety of beers/ciders/etc. Service was great - appreciated the tastings to make sure we're happy with what we decided on. There was also a pop-up food vendor outside that had personal size pizzas' - so we caved & ordered 3 which were SOOOO GOOOD!!! The crust was beautiful, and the toppings were unique & flavorful. My fave was the hot honey pizza - but the chipotle & margherita were also tasty! Seems like they rotate their food trucks/vendors overall which is a nice touch - but regardless we'd def. be back for the beer & vibes.

Crazy good Seltzer! They taste like 7-11. The Double IPA is so smooth-trouble. Friendly staff that won't let your glass go empty. Taco truck is really good. Great atmosphere. They have a family vibe and it's raining. Don't miss out on this stop.

I rented out the Parlor for my husband's 50th birthday party. The space was perfect-- seating, service, beer of course, and all the things. Special thank you to Cam for all his help with our set up, beer service, and anything else we needed through out the night! As well as Kaity, who made all the party planning easy and answered all my questions while giving great suggestions and recommendations.

I say that because when I entered I thought I was coming into a small little brewery but was suprised to find a pretty big place. Not only does it have the a bunch of seating areas to the side but they have a large open space in the back. Of course it was a cloudly day so we opted to stay inside. This place has a nice vibe with different seating areas and smaller areas if you want to stay away from the crowd. They also have some single seats and an area with a bunch of different games. Really suprised at how big this place is. Service: The beertender was very helpful letting us try out different drinks and providing some information on what we might lake based on taste. We didn't get too much interaction after we served our drinks but it was a good interaction and means we were able to get our drinks real quick. Drinks: I ended up getting the coffee stout made from Kingdom Coffee Roaster beans and was suprised about how light it was. I couldn't resist once I actually tasted it. While not a dark rich stout it still had a creamy light finish and honestly was something that I would order again. Defintely a place worth checking out if breweries are your thing!

This brewery is located in Rancho Cordova in the same shopping center as Nimbus Winery. Its a very big shopping center with many tenants,so very busy but on the plus side, lots of parking options available in the shopping center. Once we walked by the Girl Scouts selling their cookies outside the brewery,we walked into a pretty large warehouse like room and a very long single line to place drink orders at the bar.The lines move pretty quick though, probably took about 12 minutes to get my order placed and drink in hand. They have many award winning beers available but this night I went with one of their Triple IPAs and the wife went with a lager.I found the Triple IPA to be one of the best Triples I've had just about anywhere,it was so tasty and heavy and when I finished it I really felt it-that beer packed a punch-I had two of them.I ended up trying my wife's lager and it tasted pretty good as well-if you like lagers then this one works out well. The Triple IPA was named Rainbows Ponies and was 11% ABV and the lager was named Lake Girl Lager and was 4.7% ABV. The brewery itself is super family friendly-pet friendly for sure as many doggies were in there. They had a band playing in one corner of the brewery, though the chatter in that brewery was pretty loud so could barely make out what he was singing. They sell many canned beers that are available for take home-that's one thing I regret not doing-but I guess that gives me a reason to go back sooner rather than later. They also do have non-alcoholic beer available for those who just enjoy the taste of beer but don't drink alcohol. Overall I think this is a top notch brewery and one I would recommend visiting-they have top caliber beer and offer a family friendly environment and the location is pretty good with decent restaurants in the area along with activities like miniature golf and escape rooms that are fun for the entire family.

Definitely liking the food menu and having happy hour pricing. Big wins there. However, I'm going to throw out a complaint that throws off the vibe and why I only tip 10%. This switch to funneled counter service creates a disconnected experience where the servers and bartenders don't seem to matter. You stand in a long line that takes forever to get through. Beers aren't even listed on the overhead monitors. You feel rushed to put in your order because you're aware of everyone who is waiting behind you. Get your food, put your buzzer on a table. Someone shows up with it. When you need a drink, you have to get up and navigate a line, again. Again, I'm tipping 10% for that at most. This is counter service. If I have to get up, stand in line and get my own drinks? Not a premium experience. But the prices here? It feels really disconnected. You're charging $10 for a beer? I have to get up and stand in line to get one... It all just looks like and feels like someone who designed this workflow hasn't been in the service industry. Too many awkward disconnection points and a lack of continuity. Imagine you went to a bar with 5,000 sqft and everyone was funneled into a line with two registers. There are 30+ taps. They're charging a premium for food and beverage. It's a great space. Food is good. Staff is fine. But the vibe is just off. The story arc when you walk in to when you leave feels weird. Like a top-down edict from management trying to force patrons into an unnatural workflow trying to improve one part of the business while compromising 7 others, losing whatever soul in the process. And the tap selection is lazy. I'll update my review if the vibe changes. It's just painful to see such a great space so awkwardly used. It even mostly works until the execution falls flat. I mean, imagine having a drink and knowing you're going to have to wait 20 minutes in a line to get another one on a lazy Sunday afternoon. It's... weird. It's 2-stars weird. Someone thought this was a good idea?

Thanks Daddy O's! Oh and I usually include pictures of everything but I was hungry and you know what brisket and ribs look like

Daddy O's Smokehouse - Easy menu. Prices were really affordable but keep in mind some meats cost extra but the prices are super fair.
