New Glory has just gotten better with time. Years ago I came for the Belgians they would have here from time to time. Back when it was a tiny tap room with a half dozen taps. It's grown to expand into double the space and double the taps. A dog-friendly space complete with a mini arcade, plenty of seating, and a variety of beer styles. The dark and malties here are mostly great, with an occasional standout so terrific I can't resist taking some home in fear that I would never be able to drink it again. The beertenders are chill guys that never steer me wrong. Today I was recommended a Son of a Beach sour that tasted like liquid sunshine. Just perfect during a 101° Sacramento heatwave.

We LOVE their beer! For my birthday my boyfriend took me here as part of the celebration. Nice staff and a variety of beers to select from. We had a brew outside and one inside. Ask for a few tasters before selecting your . They are knowledgeable and will give you a few ideas. And no problem if you want to try a few! I can't wait to go back

This is my first time visiting new glory craft Brewery and I'm honestly impressed! The place has such a fun and welcoming vibe What really made the experience stand out was Jess! She was so friendly and made me feel completely at home. She took the time to walk me through the menu and helping me and my gf pick something we ended up loving. Her customer service was amazing you can tell she really enjoys what she does. I'll definitely be coming back thanks to Jess and the awesome experience overall. Highly recommend stopping by if you haven't been yet!

Two delicious stouts: the Frosty Delight and the Java Jack Golden Stout

It's been awhile since I last visited New Glory. However, I drifted away for a while when on numerous visits, they didn't have any maltier beers on tap in favor of several IPA styles. A couple of times of that happening, I can let pass. Particularly in full heat of summer. More than that, though, and I start to drift away and find places that more consistently have styles that I prefer. Such was the case here. Fast forward to last evening. I wanted to meet up with a friend. Location-wise, both of us would be nearby and this was the brewery we chose to catch up over a pint at. At the counter, I hopefully inqúred whether there were any stouts or porters or English ales on tap currently. To my elated surprise, there were three stouts currently available: The Java Jack(a golden), the Frosty Delight ( hot cocoa flavors), and a third stout with Maple-y notes. I opted for the Frosty Delight after sampling all three. It was delicious and very welcome on a chilly December evening. The Golden Stout was also quite good with coffee notes that would be great as a morning beverage, too. The third stout wasn't bad, but went down a trifle " heavier"... probably better to have with food rather than as a solo pint. Now that New Glory is making the styles that are the ones I prefer as gain, I'll be frequenting more often, to be sure. The remodel of the previous brewing tank room into additional seating area with several arcade games is nice. There are three pinball machines, a car race game, a table version of Space Invaders, and a Ninja Turtle fight game. Things are looking cozier here. It's much more conducive to suggesting that friends meet and gather here.

$5 pints and tacos and quesadilla vendor on Tuesdays. A good time. Their pinball is great and they have a good mix of indoor/outdoor space. Grab a crowler to go!

Was so excited this place had so, so many IPAs. Was hoping it'd be a NorCal Green Cheek or Monkish. Service was just one dude on a weekday night. Order at the bar- he was very nice. They've got about 8 tables inside, 5 bar seats, and a handful of tables outside. Have some games as well. Could be pretty cool on a weekend. Got one of their Double IPAs and a 4-pack of their hazies to take home. Woke up with a killer headache the next day, even when I was hydrated-- only had 1 beer. Tried the hazy IPAs another day and it gave me a killer headache also. Not sure if it's just me or something they put in the beer, but don't usually feel that way after beers (except for once from Coatza)

What is not to like about a brewery with their own tap room? New Glory is hidden in the back of an industrial area is a sudsy paradise. Parking is a bit limited, but the space to spend with friends is air conditioned and has some arcade games! I had been exposed to the tasty goodness when I was out exploring Jamestown, so I had to go try this brewery firsthand. This brewery has everything from nonalcoholic to IPAs, sours, stouts and ales. Today my friend and I had four different kind of beers all of them were absolutely. You can choose from a 4 ounce taster, 8 ounce or a full 16 ounce goblet to enjoy these libations. There's not much in the way of snacks, but they do have some basic snacks you can purchase if you need something to soak up the alcohol in your stomach . To combat this the location has a couple different food vendors come on site where you have the option to buy some type of homemade food . Today happened to be a lumpia vendor and we had some tasty lumpia to go with the good beer selection. It was quite delightful. I look forward to trying this location out again.

They have about 25 taps, including 1 hop water, a few light beers, several hazy IPAs, a few West Coast IPAs, 3 sours, and a few dark/specialty varieties. I enjoyed the selection of beers I picked out; most of them were delicious and hit the spot. I wanted to try 2 flights to get a better understanding of what beers I liked, but the amount of beer in each glass was quite a lot. They offer flight trays that hold 4-5 oz pours, but the glasses hold more than 5 ounces with no line indicating the 5 oz mark. I wish they had the option of using sample shot glasses instead of the 5 oz pours. I only wanted to sample each beer but didn't want to drink so many ounces. Sipping a 2-oz shot would have been plenty. They've expanded the seating area to accommodate several tables and a few video game units. Note: There is only 1 bathroom in the whole place, which seems inadequate for a brewery. I believe you can bring food inside. They also sell chips and gummy worms.

Affordable and tasty flights of 4!

Frickin' love this family-and-dog-friendly brewery in Sac! It's the perf spot for a midday post-lunch lounge. I even saw tons of groups hang out in their small outside patio and even more people sitting in their many picnic tables in the warehouse-style seating. Dogs-a-plenty too (plus they have treatos)! Parking is a little tough since it's street parking or you can take your chances on the weekend and park in the tiny lot where there are some nondescript businesses just one lot over. But it was pretty safe, some homeless encampments a few streets over, but New Glory is tucked away at the end of the street. Enjoyed a flight and loved the friendly taptender. He was so kind and seemed like he knew all the regulars. They have a fully stocked fridge full of crowlers to go, and I had to take a 4 pack of Gummy Worm IPA with me. It was SO delicious, the perf amount of sweet and sour. I totally enjoyed how each beer was so flavorful made, packed with juice, and unique. That's the key to a successful microbrewery--I think! Have variety and be bold with experimentation. New Glory surely does that. I loveddddd my Stellar Nova and the Citra Colada definitely had the perfect hint of coconut. Reminded me of Aloha living. The Sunset Surge was not my fave, but it was easy to drink on a hot day. Great space to hang, totally nonjudgmental, and loved how friendly everybody was. Will def be back.

Front Bar Area. They now have additional seating and activities area to the right.

New Glory Brewery, Sacramento, CA, February 6, 2024 I arrived at about 2 PM on Tuesday afternoon. Tuesdays are five dollar pint days for beers with 8% and less alcohol. Count me in! The server at the bar was friendly and accommodating. There are two parts to the brewery - the tap room and bar, and a separate large seating area that includes pinball and other types of games. I was just here for the beer and to socialize with friends, so I sat in the bar area. Upbeat music was playing and there was at least one big screen TV behind me. They have a good selection Hazy and West Coast IPAs as well as many other styles of beer. I liked both the lager and Pilsner that I tried. Both great representatives of their respective styles. I've had their Ubadank West Coast IPA, Hop Haze double IPA, and numerous hazy IPAs in the past and those have always been excellent too. The star of the show for me however on this particular day was the Pinch Harmonics West Coast IPA. Made with Mosaic, Nelson, and Citra hops, it was a delicious delight! This may be my new Tuesday afternoon hangout!

    Gummy!!!

Always a great time at New Glory! Its close to my work and I often have our team shop for what we call "team builders" after work! And the fact the get a neighbor discount is even better, no idea what that is, my guess it the standard 10%! I like that we have three options of where to hang out so in terms of ambiance, it perfect!

Stopped in for a beer on a rainy day. It wasn't to busy and we were able to park right in front. We were greeted and found a table. After looking at the menu we split a taster. They offer quite a few beers to choose from. We enjoyed most of the beers and I especially like the sours. There are quite a few tables to sit at and a small area out front when the weather is nicer.

Nice brewery in an industrial section. Great selection on tap and in the refrigerator case. Plenty of seating, friendly staff, dog-friendly and kid-friendly too! Rotating food trucks outside, just a few snacks and candy for the kids for sale at the counter.

Ask the Community - New Glory Craft Brewery

Do you serve Kombucha (for that one friend in the group who doesn't like beer 😂)?

No kombuchas that I recall, BUT have your friend tag along and try one of the sours! I believe it'll be a happy medium. "Candy Freak" and "Against the Currant" were delicious. Hope this helps!

Are you open? Patio seating available to enjoy a beer or two?

Hey there! No unfortunately we are not open for drinking yet but we’re really excited for when we can have our amazing customers back on our patio. We’ll keep everyone updated through our social media channels about any opening news.

Are any of the beers/ciders gluten free?

The beers are not, but at our Granite Bay restaurant, we do have a rotating cider that is. Cheers!

Is this a good place for a small party with a couple kids?

Yes! We bring our kids and a dog all the time.

When does new glory open in quarry ponds?

Hoping within the next few months for the taproom side. The restaurant side will be sometime around September. Cheers! :)

Is outside food is allowed if the food truck is present?

    Yes! :)

    Does the taproom have WiFi?

    Yes we do! ?

This is a funny place for me as I've been here more than a few times, yet I don't have a favorite beer or food item but not because I don't like the food or the beer but because the more things I try the more things I had to my favorites list at this incredible brewery. This particular visit was on a Tuesday and they have a great pint beer special on Mondays and Tuesdays with $5 select pints all day. On this day we decided to go with Weird is the new Normal-a West Coast IPA($5.00) & a Luna De Miel-a Mexican Amber($5.00). Both beers were very refreshing and went down super easy and I've added both to my "will order again " list. For food I ended up ordering Brisket Tacos ($14.00) off the appetizer list and a Pulled Pork Sandwich($17.00) off the sandwich list. I upgraded my fries to Garlic Fries for an additional fee-I think $1 but not sure as I was being treated that day. This is the kid of place where u walk up to counter and place an order for your beer and food then they give u a number and will bring your grub out to ya at whatever table u can find. They have both indoor and outside seating-I prefer outside seating this time of year. Food was delivered very fast-in under 10 minutes. Brisket Tacos were super simple but still wonderful -really soft tortilla with a nice chew and flavor topped with their famous juicy tender perfectly flavored brisket with onions and cilantro as a topper-they are excellent because of the quality of the brisket. 8.8/10 Pulled Pork Sandwich was the item that stood out that day-pulled pork was smoked perfectly and smothered with a perfect amount of their BBQ sauce and one of their famous onion rings is in the sandwich also topped with BBQ sauce. The bun they use was so soft and meshed perfectly with the soft tasty bite of the pulled pork. 9.4/10 I really do love all of my visits to Urban Roots as every visit has been positive-I've recommended this place to many of my friends who visit from out of town for a high quality yet casual dining experience & if that isn't enough of a recommendation, the day I visited was my actual birthday and this was the place I choose to celebrate-I love this place that much.

I came to visit my friends and we went to a brewery to catch up. My friend just bought a house and was moving, as well as having her birthday, so her ID was expired which we were not aware of. It happens. My friend was going to log into DMV just so she can show a valid ID the bartender but another woman working came up exclaiming they can not accept that and she will not get a drink. My friend did not argue about it and my other friend and I got our beers and sat down. We just wanted to spend time and catch up. My friend with the expired ID did not even take a sip of any drinks and respected the policy, the woman that we talked to earlier about the ids then proceeded to come up to us and say that we were sharing drinks, yelling and being very hostile. We were all confused because in no way, my friend even touched or drank any of the drinks. She insisted to call the cops. We then asked her if she had any evidence such as video footage and she said she did not have any access to that and she did not have footage. She said we were breaking the law and she will get the police involved for underage drinking. She was being extremely hostile. THANK YOU BY THE WAY SHE IS IN HER 30s BUT BESIDE THE POINT THEY REFUSED TO PULL UP THE FOOTAGE AND CORNERED US WHEN WE WERE DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. We even encouraged to call the police then she started back tracking. Their lead came in. We again, asked for the footage and he then, unrelated, said they are on the verge of closing rather than taking any form of accountability or apologizing for how his colleague was treating us. We asked for a refund and would leave, we were so uncomfortable. He then proceeded to say we did not pay for the drinks and I had to pull up my credit card statement to even prove it, which is absolutely ridiculous. I got our drinks and paid/ closed the tab before even sitting down. We asked to talk to a manager again. Mind you, we asked previously, and got the lead. The manager just asked if we were from the Bay and shook our hands instead of actually doing anything about the situation. I saw her hug the woman that was accusing after we were leaving which is absolutely ridiculous. Why would you encourage that type of behavior to your staff. Profiling in 2025 is insane. I feel bad for my friends. I feel extremely uncomfortable. Discriminating and accusing just because we are the only POCs in the room is so embarrassing. DO BETTER- NOT EVEN AS AN ESTABLISHMENT BUT JUST AS HUMAN BEINGS.

Gift cards awarded to the group with the highest points at the end of each round. I've been a couple times, and I feel I can contribute to my team more than Trivia Night, which I suck at. Even though some of the music is eclectic or just hard to recognize, it's a lot of fun. Good idea to come with friends of all different backgrounds and musical tastes. Since At Ease does not have a kitchen, they have a food truck (not sure when but definitely on Friday nights) come out on the patio. They do offer free pretzels and sell small bags of chips, along with some merch. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Dogs are welcome inside and on the patio. They offer 4oz flights ($15) of any 4 beers of your choosing. They have a good variety from light to dark, sours to ciders, and a few IPAs. I always find something I like. You can always ask for a sample to, if you don't want to commit. The staff are always accommodating and make suggestions if you need help.

Parking: Free street parking (2-hour limit) Kids and dogs friendly!!! They also brew their own beers locally!!! The owner is an Army veteran with 27 years of service, which is reflected in the identity and pride of the space. The brewery also won a 2025 California State Fair Gold Award in the commercial craft brew competition. The unisex restroom is even called the "Latrine," staying true to the military theme in a fun and intentional way. What to Order: * Presidio: West Coast IPA (6.7%) * Fog of War: Hazy IPA (6.7%) * Colonel Concord: Seltzer (5.2%) They also offer 4-pack and 6-pack mix-and-match to-go options, which is a great bonus if you want variety. Seating & Atmosphere: There is both indoor and outdoor seating, with misting outdoors during the summer for comfort. It's a community-focused brewery that hosts scheduled events, such as Thursday trivia nights. There is also food trucks on occasional events!! MURAL: One standout feature is the mural, officially titled "At Ease Brewing Co. Mural." It was created by Glen Warren, creative director at Sacramento-based Commuter Industries. The artwork blends a mid-century modern and space theme, featuring stylized rockets and celestial elements. It complements the brewery's vintage military vibe while still feeling playful and inviting. What I really appreciate is that the business gave the artist full creative freedom rather than forcing a strict military theme. That generosity shows in the final result: it feels authentic and visually striking. As the artist shared, the goal was to create something bold, simple, and joyful: an "Instagram hotspot" that brings a moment of optimism, especially reflecting post-2020 sentiment. Overall, it's a well-thought-out space with great beer, strong identity, and a welcoming community feel.

All beers appeared to be craft, I didn't see any mainstream beers like Bud or Coors. They also offered a few craft soda options and plenty of water stations. They outdoor seating in the front or a nice large back patio as well as a few spots inside. We opted for the back patio to enjoy the random cat that was lurking around. It does appear the back patio is dog friendly as well. We ordered the prosciutto and fig pizza, an OG pepperoni and the garlic breadsticks. It did take longer than I expected for our food, but we did come right at opening so maybe morning prep took some time. We really liked the prosciutto a fig, the balsamic glaze and the sweetness of the agave paired well. I do wish the garlic bread was more garlicky. It was more of a cheesy bread in my opinion, which was still delicious. We will definitely be back. And what's even better is Gunters is right down the street so you can enjoy a sweet treat after a nice meal and ice cold beer.

I saw people bringing their kids who played around at their backyard area, people studying at the front area, couple singles are mingled at the backyard seatings. Foods and drinks are decent size and good price. Service is pretty fast. I recommend their IPA and seltzer. For foods: pizza is their best. It was thin crust and plenty of condiments, served warm. Fun West Sac hangout place!!…read more Parking: moderately difficult (metered, popular area) Ambience: 10/10: live music, outdoor under the open sky, super relaxing. Great crowd and overall flow. Entry: there's a line for ID check and wristbands, but it moves quickly. Restrooms: clean, 5 stalls per gender with plenty of sinks. No line when I went. Seating: mostly outdoor. Options include long canopy tables (fits: 6-8 people) or fireplace seating (extra $10). The building itself has really interesting architecture: loved it. There's also a small indoor area called "The Wing" with a nice bar and fun photo props. Service: ordering is done via QR code at your table and paid upfront. Food comes out fast (5-10 minutes). One hiccup: they dropped another table's pizzas at ours without confirming, and sauces cost extra, even basic ones like hot sauce have to be ordered online. Food & drinks: burgers, pizza, wings, fries. Drinks: beers and ciders. Highly recommend the lavender lemonade. Overall: great spot for casual hangouts with friends: definitely a fun place to bring guests.

Drakes the barn is an amazing spot to get some beers, take the family, enjoy the music and vibes…read more My wife and I are on a road trip and this was a stop to meet up with one of my brothers in law. We came it to just enjoy a quick beer and head out. The open space and kind of camp out vibe was amazing. If it's hot try to grab a space with shade otherwise you would get cooked. They have fire pits and games so you really can't go wrong. The food was ok, we got a pizza and the lemon hummus with veggies. The pizza was decent but the flour on the bottom took away the flavor. Mind you I love that they to woodfire pizza, I make woodfire pizza at home but ya just gatta watch the flour underneath to not lose the flavor or the crispness of the dough. The hummus was ok, I was hoping for a more lemony flavor and the veggies were cut really thin. As far as bang for you buck it was ok. They had women great beers and drinks on then menu so honestly the environment is set up for vibes. The food could use a little more love but honestly it's a great spot because in the end ... decent food, good friends, drinks and vibes ... you cant beat that.
