Got the pesto chicken pizza (just a bit greasy) but still so good! Shared it with my 8 year old. No complaints! They have a crap ton of IPA's and 1 Pilsner. They have non-alcoholic options and a couple fountain drinks and apple juice for kids. Also got the Boujee Brie Burger, 10/10. Outside picnic benches available. Not good on the parking availability, but overall a good experience. Would come back for sure!

I hadn't been to North Sacramento in quite awhile. Del Paso Blvd. Seems to be happening these days. After yelping & discovering King Cong Brewing we were mighty pleased we stopped for a beer. Solid IPA's & I had a great Pilsner. Didnt have any food but we saw a couple pizzas being ordered. Chill atmosphere with a nice outside patio.Order at the counter. May have to wait in line. Pet friendly. Trivia Night on Tuesdays.Games available to play while sipping

This was my first time visiting this brewery and it didnt disappoint! I visited on a weekday, about 20 mins after they opened which is at 4pm on a Tuesday. We parked on the street, which has a 2 hr limit but you dont have to pay, which was nice. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which was nice. There are about 5 tvs, both indoor and outdoor. They had a good selection of beer (stouts, sour, ipa, and pilsners), so I opted for a flight. Their food was super yummy, we got their nachos and their pesto twists. The twists were AMAZING. If you are looking for a new brewery, you should definitely check out king cong.

Stopped in on a early Sunday afternoon and the place was pretty quiet. The interior is kinda dark and old looking, but clean. There is a large back patio with seating and an area that looks like it would work for entertainment. The service person was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Ordered a flight of beers and the soft pretzels with beer cheese. Both the pretzels and the beers were excellent. They had a great selection of different beer styles from light to dark and everything I tasted was clean and correct for the style. The only thing I wish they offered were some malt forward options that would round out the offering. I will definitely return for the beer and also to try their pizza, which looked amazing. Cheers!

Sitting outside for a deaf social. We just saw Deafies in Drag. Now for some food and social time. Food is great and cider is yummy! Great customer service and first time here. I'll definitely come again.

Fun spot! Our first time there and it was super cool! Friendly staff, great beer options, loads of seating options too! This location will be a new Sac Republic Pregame location! Good enough light to get a grainy film pic! Hit them up ASAP!

I've been wanting to come here for a while, it's in one of my favorite neighborhoods, and not too far from my house. I just came back from Germany, so I thought it would be fun to go to a brewery for some good beer for Valentines. When we first drove up, I wasn't sure if it was open or not. The front is a bit dark and could use some light. But we decided to park and check the door. They were open! The ambience is casual. They have tables inside, and an outside patio. I'll get back to that. When you come in you are greeted and you place your order at the bar. I asked for recommendations because the beer menu is huge. My husband and I are on the opposite ends of beer, and both of us like the recommendations we got. If you want to keep an open tab, you leave your credit card at the bar. The food menu is surprisingly extensive, ranging from salads to plates to pub food. We ended up getting a Mac burger, and a flatbread with bacon and chicken. We took our beers and our order sign and went to sit outside on the patio. It took a minute for the food to come, but we enjoyed it. Perfect with the beer. I love sitting outside and will do so in my fur coat if I have to. But here you don't have to because there are heaters everywhere. Personally, not a big fan of the heaters and they made the area pretty warm. I asked for the heater close to our table to be turned down, and the tables next to us that had other heaters on it became rolling stones because people would sit down and then move again because it was just too warm. I like the ambience and will go back to try more of the fantastic beer menu. This is a definitely a family place. Lots of children and a dog. There is parking out front on Del Paso Boulevard, but I suspect when it gets busier, you might have to park on the side streets.

Came here after a busy day at work with a coworker and was pleasantly surprised! I loved every beer we tried on the flight. The flatbread was very delicious and the crunch was perfect. The bartender (?)/ cashier (?) Were really friendly and willing to give recommendations to try. The space was busy even for a weekday. There were people of all ages there and they had a small cupboard with board games. It was a very hot fay so we didnt go to the back area. But there is a larger back area that larger groups could gather. Can't wait to come back with more coworkers next time!

This brewery is a fun go-to spot for unique events! I recently attended a lively Lotería night--Jamie, the host, was super friendly and made it a blast. I've also been here for an off-roading SuperRigs event! They occasionally have live music, and while food is light (small bites only) the vibes are great. Unpaid street parking available nearby.

Super friendly staff and a great ambiance. I didn't get a chance to try the food, but it smelled amazing. They also offer free beer labels, the label art is one of my favorite things about this brewery...

I love king cong. They have great customer service and are quick to get your cooled food to you. There is outdoor seating. We tried the sampler beers that you. An choose from the menu. The nachos are so good you have to try them! There beer is fresh. Nice little hangout spot with corn hole and board games.

King Cong is a decent little brewery in a part of town that desperately needed a quality place to gather. Every now and again I come here to meet up with a group of friends and we enjoy the outdoor patio. Inside is rather dark and small, but the outdoor patio is pretty chill. There's shade, space heaters for the colder months, and the occasional brewery kitty. They do Trivia twice a week as well. Dog-friendly, of course. Service here is always polite and friendly. As far as beers go, I usually go with their Czech dark lager Prague at Night because it's fantastic and I am drawn to all dark beverages. There's usually a Russian Imperial Stout on tap too. In all honesty I really wish they would incorporate more maltier styles into the lineup as this place is very IPA heavy. I'd be down to see some ambers, browns, or porters in the mix. They have pizza here too, which I'm told is pretty tasty and reasonably priced, but they still don't offer dairy-free cheese so I can't partake. For my taste this is a solid three stars.

This place is literally my favorite brewery! They hold game and movie nights, and have outdoor seating that is family friendly (bring your fur babies) ! They are constantly changing their soup selections and it is delicious every time! Their pesto bread is honestly the best pesto twist I've had around here! My favorite beertenders are Scott and Kayla! They're hilarious and know their stuff! The staff is one of the best part ! I forgot this was a beer place.. haha! The beer is delicious. I love the la Xingona and I am really sad they pull out of Beerfest, because they make quality beers!

Cafe Europa is location in the smaller section of the Howe bout Arden shopping center next door to T4. We walked in and are greeted. We did arrive about 30 mins before closing and asked if it was alright to dine in? The gentleman was kind and said yes! We could dine in. I ordered the Greek Spaghetti which is vegetarian. It has olive oil, butter, garlic, with Myzithra cheese. I also ordered a side of Pita bread and Tzatziki. The Greek spaghetti was so delicious. I got my spice level mild and it still had the perfect amount of spice to it without giving me heartburn. The pita tastes like they make it fresh. It was soft fluffy with a nice crisp to it. The Tzatziki I could tell was made very fresh and it was delicious. The service was amazing and I will be back to try other menu items. I left full and very happy! :)

I've been coming to Estelle's Bakery & Patisserie for years since I used to live only a block away,…read moreso it became one of my favorite places to walk to for tea and desserts. I've since moved out of state, but during my last visit in January this year, the treats and drinks were just as delicious as I remembered. This was always one of my favorite spots to spend a few hours catching up with girlfriends over tea and pastries. The ambience is lovely and gives off fancy tea party vibes, making it perfect for casual conversations, book discussions, or just relaxing with something sweet. My personal favorites are the rose macaron and the mont blanc desserts. If I'm feeling hungry, I usually order the ratatouille, and the vanilla bean French toast is amazing when I want something sweet but filling. Matcha is always my go-to drink here too (though it's on the sweet side, so I don't think it's ceremonial grade). I remember my first visit; It was when I stopped by later in the day looking for a birthday cake for my son's 8th birthday about five years ago. I ended up choosing their chocolate mousse cake on a whim since it was one of the cakes they still had on display, and it turned out to be a good decision. My son loved it, but it was too chocolatey for me so he ended up having most of the cake. Still one of the memories I remember most from here. It was something I kept in mind that if I wanted more options and variety, I should arrive earlier in the day. There are a few downsides that keep this from being a full 5 stars for me though. The parking lot is very small and street parking can be difficult, especially during busy hours. The place gets crowded very easily, which is why I usually preferred walking there when I lived nearby. There's often a guard stationed at the front kindly holding the door open, though I imagine that's also due to the neighborhood. Pricing is definitely on the expensive side, but honestly that's fairly expected with a patisserie. My biggest issue is that service can noticeably decline when they're overwhelmed. Depending on when you visit, the line can get absurdly long (almost out the front door), and I've experienced slower service and even had my drink mixed up with another customer's order once. Since I order oat milk due to lactose intolerance, getting the order correct is pretty important. Thankfully, when the bakery isn't overly busy and adequately staffed, the employees are attentive, friendly, and very helpful with the ordering process if you have questions. It is still one of the Sacramento bakeries I miss after moving away. It was so lovely to have a bakery down the street from home.

Here I am almost a year later since I've last been here…read more I can say there is a huge improvement in the inventory and stock of ingredients. I was able to order the crispy pork banh mi this time. I did want to add in pate, but they were out of that. So I just got the sandwich the way it's made. It was toasted and the pork was really crispy. I enjoyed the sandwich. It comes with a side of sauce, which I poured into the sandwich. Customer service was good. Our order was taken quickly, but we waited about 15 minutes for 3 sandwiches. No one was here when we entered, but a few customers came in after we ordered. The restaurant is still the same. I think the fridge with drinks was added since I was least here since I don't remember that being there last time. There is still plenty of seating outdoors and a few tables inside. Your employee did cough into her hand and continued preparing food without changing gloves. You weren't present, so unless you've reviewed camera footage, I don't appreciate being told I'm misrepresenting what happened. I have no reason to make something like that up, and it was concerning to witness. And I can promise I would not say that if I did not SEE that. She probably didn't realize she even did it. Separately, I understand that surfaces are cleaned regularly, but during the time I was waiting, I observed gloves being used to touch multiple surfaces (including the register and prep areas) and then used again to handle food without being changed. That's a basic food safety issue and, frankly, it was off-putting and it doesn't matter how often you clean your counters, it's gross. per CA retail food code, gloves need to be changed if other surfaces have been touched. Have you ever gone to a subway or other sandwich shop and seen the people take the order put gloves on, make the sandwich, then take the gloves off? that's the way it should be done if not staying at the prep station. I am not sure why I ever have to explain this to you on a review on Yelp. Also, regarding the order: when two of the three sandwiches were requested without jalapeños, it's not acceptable for the one that did include jalapeños to only have a single piece. I do not understand how you are trying to justify my review by even stating that two sandwiches didn't have them. and why does it matter which sandwich had the paper stuck to it? they were all soggy and cold which is why the paper was sticking to it. At this point, it's less about the initial experience and more about the response. It doesn't feel like the concerns were taken seriously, which makes it hard to feel confident giving your business another try, which I really wanted to do. That's disappointing, because I genuinely wanted to enjoy and support your restaurant. and if your business is slammed, perhaps the wait times on online ordering should be updated to reflect this.------------ I'm really disappointed to be writing this review. I had heard great things about this place from a friend who comes here often, and I was genuinely excited to try it--especially since I love bánh mì. Unfortunately, the experience fell short from the start. I live about 25 minutes away and ordered ahead, arriving a few minutes after my scheduled pickup time. I still had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my sandwiches, and then another 10 minutes for the pork spring rolls. What really prompted this 2-star review, though, was what I observed while waiting. The staff was working quickly, but I did not see anyone change their gloves during the entire time I was there. One employee handled the register, touched multiple surfaces, and continued preparing and wrapping food without changing gloves. Another employee repeatedly wiped her nose on her arm and even coughed into her hand before continuing to make sandwiches. It was honestly very off-putting and raised serious concerns about food safety. When I was handed my order, I was told the pork spring rolls weren't ready because they are made to order--which is understandable--but I was confused why they hadn't been started earlier since I had already placed and paid for my order. By the time I got home, the sandwiches were cold, soggy, and the paper had stuck to the bread. My partner said the flavor was okay, but noted there was barely any jalapeño, which was disappointing since that's a key part of a good bánh mì. I truly wanted to like this place, but between the hygiene concerns, wait times, and food quality, it was a frustrating experience. I hope management addresses these issues, especially around cleanliness and food handling, because that's something customers should never have to question.
