    Rigatoni alla Vodka
    Lili M.

I have been here numerous times with friends and family for dinner and I never get tired of their delicious food. My friend initially brought me here and introduced me to the amazing bocce balls. We get these every time we come here together, but the other appetizers are also worth trying! The fried ravioli was a hit with my family. Usually when I come I get the fettuccine arrostiti which is so delicious and filling, and recently I tried the rigatoni alla vodka which was amazing. They have staple items on their menu and specials too, the menu I believe may differ depending on the location you go to but won't only slightly. At this location I've never had to wait long to be seated and they have indoor and outdoor (covered) seating. The inside can get pretty busy and noisy, but the service is good.

Came here on a Wednesday afternoon and it had a lively vibe, but it wasn't very busy. My friend and I chose to sit outside where there were two tables available -- one smaller for two people and one slightly bigger. After being seated at the smaller table, I asked the host if we could sit at the larger one instead. The larger table only seated four, so it wasn't like we were asking for their biggest table. There were no other parties waiting and plenty of open seating inside, but the host still denied the request and said it was only for larger parties. That didn't sit right with me, especially since it wasn't busy, I'd definitely understand on the weekend but that wasn't the case. It felt unnecessary to prioritize a party that wasn't even there yet over guests who were already present. After that, we were seated and it did take a little while for someone to come over, but once our waiter arrived, they were very kind and service picked up quickly. Drinks and our appetizer came out fast. The appetizer was actually the highlight of the meal -- we enjoyed it more than our sandwiches. For our main meals, my friend and I both got sandwiches and they were just okay. Nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. My friend ordered the Philly cheesesteak and mentioned it was lacking in meat and felt like mostly bread in some bites. They did have a cool pizza special going on that sounded really good, and honestly we probably should've gone with that instead. Overall, the experience was just average. Not terrible, but not something I'd go out of my way for again. I would come back and try something else next time.

Located in midtown so find the nearest metered parking and walk. They were open on Easter Sunday and we were able to be seated right away for an early dinner (party of 5) Elevated pizza and pasta spot. I ordered the penne vodka pasta and at first the sauce was too acidic but as leftovers later that night it was perfect! If i had more of an appetite I would have added crispy chicken. The side garlic bread that comes with it is a big slice and perfectly buttered and seasoned. I would definitely come back to try the other options! However, the soda options are on the Pepsi/Starry variety which is not appealing to me.

Paseanos was a great experience. I went with a friend for dinner. We each got a delicious pasta dish. I got the campellini pomodoro and my friend got rigatoni allá vodka. I also got a nice Riesling to drink. We both enjoyed our meals and took some home for lunch the next day. We also shared the bocce balls, so delicious! Definitely recommend those. I would come back and dine again. The service was good. Our sever did seem a little overwhelmed but it was very busy. He forgot our drinks for a little while, but they eventually made it to our table.

We came here for lunch on Sunday. The waitress seated us quickly and offered us water while we looked over the menu. They have a kids' menu, which is a plus, and the price is affordable; it comes with an ice cream bar. We had kid pasta with meat sauce, polenta fries, spaghetti Parmesano and lemon pistachio linguine. We're having a good time, enjoying our food. The fries were really crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The linguine was quite delicious and unique taste. My husband enjoyed his spaghetti very much. The staff was friendly, and parking is on the street.

Overall a good value for money! We got polenta fries - which was huge and really good. It is on the heavier side so order rest of your meals accordingly. The kids got kids pizza and pasta and they were happy with their food. We also ordered Sicilian pizza and it was a tad bit too salty. Staff were really nice and the best part is that they give play doh for the kids, and there's ice cream bar and milk included as part of their $8 meal. Can't beat it!

I went here for lunch with my cousin on a Thursday afternoon. No wait and we were seated quickly inside. We ordered the sopressata hot honey pizza along with the daily special pasta (linguine with shrimp in a spicy sauce) and two side salads to share. Salad came out quickly but the food took a bit of a long time to come out - not sure if they were just waiting for us to finish our salad. I enjoyed the flavor of the hot honey pizza and the thinness and crispiness of the crust. The pasta was ok but I would probably not get it again as I think their pizza was better. Total for 2 dishes and 2 side salads was ~$60 pre-tip, so a bit on the pricier side. Street parking only, we found free parking around the corner. They have both indoor seating and a front covered patio.

Had a wonderful time at Paesanos today for lunch. So many great options that it's hard to choose! We started with the meatballs for some protein. They were delicious. I love the bread her as well! We also order half a Greek pizza and half Sicilian -eight slice total. The Sicilian was ok, but the Greek was so good! Def would order that again. Overall a good time, appreciate our servers patience with us as we looked over the menu and had a few questions. It was nice and quiet for a Sunday afternoon. And of course, we will be back!

Love Paesanos, great food, low key, good service, vibrant and noisy in a good way, they have always been accommodating, best of all, I've never had a mediocre meal here. When I crave comfort food, Paesanos is the first place that comes to mind. They also have a great bar, though, it's always crowded, I guess that speaks to the quality of service, customer experience is paramount, and Paesanos delivers!

Paesanos always has great quality pastas and pretty generous portions. I love getting their fried ravioli. It is so delicious, flavorful, and crispy. It was my first time trying their pizzas here, and it was pretty good! Thin crust pizza, and average size. The service was friendly. He got everything we needed and checked up on us a good amount of times. We sat in their extended room, which was cool, but there was no ambiance to it LOL it really is just an extra room for customers to eat in.

This place is in midtown and just has a chill vibe. Met my daughter for lunch, we love this place. Calamari Always good. Combo Pizza Pepperoni, Molinari Italian sausage and cremini mushrooms. Delicious, nice crust. Grilled Chicken Sandwich Provolone, toasted tomatoes, caramelized onions on artesian roll. Explosion of flavors, roll so fresh. It is a bit on the sweet side. Side Green Salad Fresh crisp produce very simple with heirloom tomatoes, I liked it alot. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Her name was 'D F' per the receipt.

I haven't been here in years and we decided to eat some Italian goodness for Valentine's Day. Normally I would order the carbonara but we tried other items. We had the Wedge salad, Caesar salad, Pepperoni Pizza, Pork Fusili and the Fettuccine Arrostiti. Everything was perfection! Tasted soooo good we can't wait to come back soon and try other dishes. Our server was super nice too! The food took a little longer to come out but it was well worth the wait.

    House Meatballs and Fried Raviolis
    Alex R.

Overall, I had a very mid experience here. I thought the meatballs felt a little thin. The fried ravioli was a little chewy. Probably not items I would order again. The pasta experience was fine. My partner out ordered me. Her fettuccini dish was great. Great flavor and mouth feel with each bite. The carbonara was flavorful, but had too much cheese, so it felt a little chunky and heavy. Her sangria was very sweet, so was not to our liking. The service was very friendly. He was working hard so he forget a few things we asked for and the order of operations was a little off but I wont't subtract points since he was short handed. Definitely feels kind of chain-y on the inside. They got a bar where you can watch a game or two. They have outdoor seating which I always appreciate. Overall, there was some good and some bad suggesting some inconsistencies in the menu. I see potential in the menu but probably only in a few items. Perhaps not my first choice for pasta but if I know what I what I like and I want something fast casual, this is the spot. Plus, it's in midtown and you can frolick around after or before.

This was an interesting dish. It has a spicy tomato sauce. So if you like heat this dish is for you.

We LOVE pizza! What's not to try? THE SETUP What is novel about their business plan is that they cater to BOTH vegans and carnivores! Often you get into a spot and you discover that the restaurant has no viable vegan options, OR it's a vegan spot that has no options outside that. PIZZASAURUS REX.... ...welcomes ALL! We wanted to try their Vegan Pepperoni Pizza - with both vegan mozzarella and vegan pepperoni (all plant-based) - generous portions of all the ingredients including the sweet basil! INCIDENTALS If you enjoy walking, getting there on foot is a better option considering all the parking is on the street. If you live in Midtown hood, you don't have to worry about it! Also you can order a pizza half one topping and the other another topping which was what we went with. We got the regular combo and the vegetarian the other half. I got a table at the top in the back. The table was a little dirty and had not been wiped down. Had to do it ourselves. The manager was across from us but didn't say anything along with another worker. Oh well. It wasn't very busy inside. They had a couple of people on the outside tables and two tables taken inside. Pretty empty otherwise. The lady told us that it would be 22 minutes for our pizza to be ready. I think we got it in 20. These are not the traditional round type. They are square and a good size to. It was 44 bucks for this pizza since we had water to drink. They crust was the best part. Nice an crispy. The vegetarian was not bad. I Liked it . The Combo was just adding salami and pepperoni. It was alright. I liked the veggi better. A lot of my wife's friends said they really liked this place. I thought it was nice but the drive from Elk Grove was a bit for this pizza. Which I thought was just ok. At least we tried it. Not bad. If I was in the area then yes.

La Porta Came here…read moreon a Saturday for a friend's birthday with a large group of 17, and we didn't have reservations--so we knew it might be a bit of a challenge. At the time, they had one cook and a manager who was also acting as the bartender and server for the whole floor. You could tell he was a little nervous at first with such a big party, but honestly, he handled it really well. He was friendly, energetic, and super transparent about what they were out of since everything is made fresh. He also did a great job explaining the dishes and cocktails, which we appreciated. Our group was pretty easygoing, and overall the experience felt fun and relaxed. The food came out looking (and tasting) amazing across the board. I ordered the gluten-free hot honey pizza, and it was a standout--perfect crust, nice balance of sweet and heat, and loaded with cheese, pepperoni, and sausage. Definitely a win. One of my friends also ordered gluten-free and tried the pesto chicken pizza. Unfortunately, that one missed the mark--the chicken was overcooked, the pesto flavor was off, and the pizza itself was a bit bland. However, when she mentioned it, the server immediately made it right by remaking her pizza and not charging for it, which we really appreciated. The space itself has a great vibe--cute aesthetics and it sounds like they host events during the week like DJs and art nights, which is a fun touch. Parking can be a little tricky since it's on a busy intersection, but manageable. Overall, a really solid experience, especially considering our group size and no reservation. I'd definitely come back and would love to see gluten-free pasta options added in the future!
