Just came in for a late night meal. First time here. Ordered the meat lovers pizza with garlic fries. It's not a bad spot. Ambience is good for a pizza shop. Pizza boxes stocked on the side for easy to go packing. Meat lovers pizza This was awesome. Crust was good and they had double cheese. Definitely go back for this. Garlic fries This made me drop the ratings to 3 star. They used cold jarlic on hot fries. For a shop to not use fresh garlic, I was so disappointed. When the fries was hot, it was great. My friend picked this spot for us to try while we watched a basketball game. We ordered a cheese pizza and another pizza with pesto. I honestly didn't expect to like the pesto one, but it was super delicious especially with the chicken on it. Surprisingly, I didn't enjoy the cheese pizza as much. Because I'm a big fan of cheese pizza. Some of the others in my group ordered pasta, but they weren't big fans of it. We found this Pizza place on YELP and it had great ratings. We are from out of town and our son wanted pizza. When we walked in, it was really chilly. We asked the Manager to turn the heat up and he was very apologetic and immediately turned it up. And then the pizza came out. It was the best pizza we have ever had. Seniore's Pizza in Elk Grove is one of those places that can be really good... when it's on. The problem is, it's not always on. When they get it right, the pizza is solid. Good flavor, good variety, and they are not afraid to go bold with their options. I like that they offer a wide range of pizzas, so you are not stuck with the usual basic choices. One of the biggest positives for me is that it is halal. I do not eat pork, so having options like beef pepperoni, beef sausage, salami, and even beef bacon is a big plus. It is nice being able to order freely without having to think twice about ingredients. That said, consistency is the issue. I have had pizzas from here that were genuinely really good, and then other times where it just felt off. Whether it is the crust, the balance of toppings, or just overall execution, it can be hit or miss depending on the day. Because of that, it is hard to fully rely on it as a go-to spot. When it is good, you will enjoy it. When it is not, you will wish you went somewhere else. Overall, I would give it 3 out of 5 stars. We attempted to order through their AI system but it did not understand what we were saying. We then attempted online but it was glitchy and missing ingredients (the ingredients list wouldn't load) while trying to construct a pizza. We called the AI system back and asked for customer service so we can connect to a real person. It connected us with the restaurant who said they don't take call in orders and we can only use their AI service. We explained that it isn't working properly and he said that is our only option. Obviously we weren't able to place an order. We won't be patronizing this restaurant and I am pretty sure the restaurant employees are glad of that because they couldn't get off the phone fast enough. I've been to Seniore's Pizza twice now, and I loved both experiences. I've only visited at night, but it's always lively and busy, adding to the fun atmosphere. The place has a bar with TVs, plenty of booths and tables, and walls covered in pictures and art that give it a cool, laid-back vibe. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to snap more pictures. The pizza isn't anything too crazy but it is very delicious, so you can't go wrong grabbing a slice here. You can order pizza by the slice or get a whole pie, which is super convenient, and their menu also includes other options that I haven't tried yet. It's a great spot for hanging out with friends, especially if you enjoy a lively environment. They even have a pinball machine and a few other games, plus a bathroom, which is always a nice touch. One downside is how strict they are about closing time. Not sure if it was just this one night that I had went, but it was very difficult to pick up our order as their security was not letting everyone into the restaurant so they had to keep checking to make sure if you had an order or not, which was time-consuming. Don't waste your time ordering from this place unless you're prepared to receive a side of disrespect with your pizza. We've been loyal customers since they first opened, and last night was by far the most disappointing and rude experience we've ever had here. The staff acted as though we owed them something, rather than treating us like paying customers. We ordered 3 pizzas spending well OVER $100, and for the first time, we voiced a valid complaint about the quality of only ONE of them. The vegetarian pizza was completely overloaded with canned olives to the point of being inedible. The entire surface was covered in olives, with very little sign of tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, or bell peppers. (You would have to dig through the olives to find them if you could). We simply pointed out that the pizza was poorly made, but the response we received was condescending and unprofessional. Instead of listening, the employee became defensive and dismissive, insisting the pizza was fine when it clearly wasn't. "I made your pizza, I know it was fine." If your idea of customer service is shrugging and saying, 'I made your pizza, it looked fine to me,' then maybe you should've pulled up a chair and helped my family choke it down too? You act like basic feedback is a personal attack, but if you can't handle even the slightest criticism, then you have no business running anything, let alone a restaurant. I'm confused with their hours of operation. The hours listed on yelp don't match up with their closing hours today. It says it closes at 11pm tonight on yelp but when we got there they were already all cleaned up and ready to leave at 5pm. Hmm... what's going on? Well, now the question is would I recommend this place to my friends and family? Umm.... Probably not. I've heard great things about this place but I just didn't enjoy it. To each their own I guess. I looked to Yelp reviews before placing my order and was excited to try this place since it has received good reviews. We ordered the pepperoni pizza, french fries and deep fried ravioli appetizer. The deep fried ravioli was not what I expected. It was not breaded and was just a crispy beef ravioli. The marinara side sauce was also not enough for the amount of raviolis you get. The fries were decent and the pizza was okay but not as good as other yelpers experiences. I was going to the sandwich / ice cream franchise next door when this pizza place caught my eye. I read the mostly favorable reviews so decided to stop in for takeout. The place is clean, nicely decorated, and takeout focused with a couple tables for dining in. The server was very friendly and enthusiastic. The menu was extensive with salads, pasta, pizza, sandwiches, and desserts. I opted for a meatball sub, garden salad, and yellow cake for dessert. The salad was freshly prepared with lettuce, baby tomatoes, red onion, feta cheese and tasted great. My meatball sub was about 9" with toasted Italian bread, savory meatballs, marinara sauce, melted cheese and was legitimately delicious. Found this gem when I was dropping off a UPS package, next to it. I was running in a 1/2 marathon the next day, so I wanted some carb, but, I'm not a big fan of red sauce and didn't want super creamy pasta. Yes, when I was ordering, I was being a bit difficult. The guys there were great and very accommodating. I expected at least one eye roll or "are you serious, lady" stare, but they asked what I wanted and they made it perfectly! Pretty alright pizza spot. Favorite thing about it is its pizza crust. Soft, crispy, and fluffy! No greasiness here. Taste-wise the pizza is very comparable to the pizza at pizza chains (the red sauce is particularly quite bland). Overall a tad pricy for what the pizza is. In terms of the Oreo milkshake that I also ordered, it's like as if extra Oreo cream is used here because I distinctively tasted it in the shake lol. Not the greatest vanilla ice cream used (a little aftertaste) but, yeah, the shake would still definitely satisfy general Oreo milkshake cravings. Very friendly cashier lady. We were craving pizza on a cold night and could've gone somewhere we were familiar with but decided to try out something new. This location has changed often but we haven't been here since it became Seniore's. It has a mom and pop shop feel to it and you could see regular customers coming in that knew the employees and families enjoying their time here. The employees were all friendly and even the customers were extra friendly here too! The menu has a big variety beyond just pizza, so there is bound to be something for everybody. I was tempted to try loaded fries but we came for pizza, so maybe next time! I wish I had looked at the menu ahead of time because there was just so much to read! We decided to just get a medium of the Seniores Special which is basically a combo style with meat and veggies. They don't skimp here on the toppings either. The dough was fresh and it was so good I could've enjoyed it by itself. The medium was more than enough for the two of us, we still took home half of the pizza for leftovers. We also ordered a slice of cheese for our kids to share, which came out first which worked out well so we could get them situated before we ate. I like that they sell by the slice here and it's a generous size. There aren't as many options by the slice but still enough to satisfy a craving. We love bbq chicken pizza but I only saw it under the slice menu so I wonder if that would be an option as a whole pizza. They also have GIANT options, known as the Godzilla. The size of the box was crazy and I would have loved to see the pizza that goes in there! Awesome first experience here and I will be back. So we stopped in for lunch today. I got a small veggy pizza, white sauce, add pepperoni. The man got a pastrami sandwich and fries total was like $36 no drinks. The man said his pastrami was just ok not the best not the worst. His fries were hot and crispy but had a strange flavor I think it was the coating. The pizza, unfortunately,tasted like a frozen pizza. The crust was crispy with a cornmeal texture bottom but bland. The spinach was slimy and the rest of the toppings looked fresh but were just blah. The white sauce was garlicky but oddly bitter. I would say if it was cheap it would not be bad but we had costco pizza last night and for $10 it triple the size and a better pizza. There are some pre-made dessert in a case by the register. They do offer pastas, salads, wings and burgers. I would say try a slice before investing in a whole pie. Inside has about ten tables. Service was immediate and very friendly. We chose a pizza and a sandwich. They didn't take very long and were promptly delivered to our table. The food was reasonably priced and plenty for two and two to take home! Everything was delicious. There were generous toppings on the pizza and a meatball in every bite of the sandwich.
