Decided on pizza for late lunch so placed an online order for pickup at Delish Pizza in EG Sheldon. No dine-in option although the place is kept clean and tidy. Ordered online for a large Pepperoni Trio for $18.99 as part of their online order special. PIckup was ready in 20 mins. Pizza is pretty good with crunchy crust and 3 different pepperonis. This was my first time trying Delish. I placed an online order to be picked up at a later time. I arrived a few minutes ahead. There was still a 10 minute wait before it was ready. No big deal. They have several team members working in a production line, which works very well for them. They had a long line of tickets waiting, which shows how popular this place is. The store is well light, with an upbeat vibe. The parking lot is really busy, especially at night. The section is in the winco lot but next to Panda and Taco Bell so parking is tight. The team member who helped me check out was very friendly. Offered me plates, ranch, pepper and cheese. There is a steady stream of customers coming in for pickups, with 6 chairs for waiting. The pizza smelled wonderful and mouthwatering. We ordered a half Garlic Supreme and Spartan. Pizza was in fact, delish. Not my favorite in the area but in there in top 5. The only issue i had is they were blasting heavily religious music when I walked in and it felt inappropriate for a chain restaurant. To tell you the truth, I really think the pizza here is great. We have tried pizzas with red sauce and white sauce. The toppings are generous, as well as the variety of pizzas. There have been a couple things that, in my opinion, bring down their rating. The online ordering process is sketch. I have tried three times to sign up and , yet, after I've gone through the steps, I still have to order as a guest. Secondly, getting my pickup order on time has been a challenge. The first time was on a Friday afternoon and I chalked it up to being during peak hours. The last time, I arrived a few minutes early and was told it would be a few minutes, so I went ahead and paid for my order. As I stood off to the side at the counter, I could see my pizza exiting the oven. However, the young man slid the paddle under my pizza and went to the back to stack empty boxes rather than box my pizza and send me on my way. He knocked over some boxes, got a ladder to make sure to get the boxes straightened up, and only after he had picked up the boxes did he finally get my order boxed up. We really like the pizza here (good quality and price) so we will continue to frequent this store. I just hope the service can be improved, so I can reevaluate my rating. read more

Today, I waited 30 minutes past my estimated pickup to grab my order and when I asked about it, they just kept saying five more minutes in the oven and that five minutes actually led to 27 additional minutes. I left a bad review and then the supervisor called and apologized for the service. That phone call spoke volumes on what kind of service this establishment wants to provide.
