Mac Masala Twist with Chicken
Sasha J.

We Ordered the "one for you, one for the kids" deal which comes with one specialty pizza and one 2 topping pizza. We chose the butter chicken pizza for the specialty pizza and a white sauce Canadian bacon with garlic chicken pizza for the other one. Both on original crust. And then we added on a Tikka masala Mac and cheese to try. Pizzas were great. I only wish there was a sweet sauce to top off the butter chicken pizza. like a drizzle of sweet chili sauce or a drizzle of the sweet/spicy sauce that sometimes comes with samosas. The crust was perfect to me and the amount of toppings was good. I would not order the Mac and cheese again. Honestly it was Kraft Mac and cheese with chicken, cilantro, ginger, and onions. I was disappointed because in my brain I imagined a cheesy tikka masala sauce essentially got Kraft. I'm not a picky person but I could not eat that. BUT - I hope that doesn't deter anyone from ordering other food from here. I will order the pizza again, even the 2 topping pizza was great. This was ordered through YELP and they delivered. Delivery was timely and everything was still hot.

Pizza here is very different from what you'd expect and in the best possible way. The flavor is amazing. I love that they have vegan options and they don't skimp on toppings. We had a vegan butter chickn with cilantro and some other added toppings and an order of vegan garlic cheese bread sticks. We loved everything and are glad we decided to stop here during our road trip!

It's pizza but with a twist of either Mediterranean or Indian flavors. If you like one of those or both you are in for a treat! Or if you like pizza in general they have some other great flavors. I wasn't too hungry but we ordered one of the combination pizzas. There were a lot of toppings and the crust was just right, not too doughy and not too crunchy. They do offer dine in but it looked like there were only 2 tables available inside. If I come again in the future I'm coming on an empty stomach and will order some Indian pizza.

What could be better than having your TWO favorite things ever combined into ONE?? Chicken Tikka Masala PIZZA? Yummmmm! We've ordered a few times but this last time we asked for extra sauce & it was phenomenal. Full of flavor & deliciousness! The staff is super friendly & food is always prompt!

We ordered pizza tonight through DoorDash and it arrived in under 30 minutes! They have all of your traditional pizzas but you gotta come here for their specialty pizzas. We ordered a large Butter Chicken pizza, because c'mon, where have you even seen this creation before?! It arrived nice and hot, and smelled amazing. All of the colors made this pizza stand out! It tasted delicious, but I'd probably ask for no tomatoes next time. It overpowers the butter chicken flavor too much. The actual dough/crust is really fluffy though and I ate every last bite, even though normally I don't like the crust! I hope to come back and try other specialty pizzas sans tomatoes, perhaps I'll go with the chicken tikka masala one next time!

What a great alternative to enjoy Indian flavors! During quarantine, we ordered Indian pizza takeout here at this shop. We had two types of pizza. The butter chicken pizza was great. The flavors are all there. There is a hint of creaminess and Indian spices. All that flavors and chicken on top of a pizza dough. The Tiki Marsala veggie pizza was also tasty. The smell of roasted veggies was very appealing. The pizza was excellent with all the roasted veggies. The only recommendation is the pizza dough was a little thicker. Overall, I would order here again.

One of our most favorite pizza's! The crust is excellent and we enjoy every bite. So much flavor and fun to switch between all the different twisted Indian options. It can get very spicy so we tend to order a mild option. Excellent service too.

Paneer Tikka Masala Chicago Style Pizza

When you can't decide if you want pizza or Indian food, stop by Chicago Pizza with a twist and you can get both :D  My cousins and I decided that we should go for a Picnic party at the park(since the weather was so good over the weekend) and someone suggested we should get pizza and we stumbled upon this amazing place! Our order was take-out, it took them about 20 mins to process my order. The pizzas were hot, the toppings were fresh, they gave enough cheese and pepper sachets, the portion size is great too. I had ordered three large pizzas and it worked out great for 12 people. The spices were perfectly balanced, the pizzas did not taste bland or too spicy (they usually ask you how spicy you want them to be).   We tried three of their pizzas, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken pizza and paneer tikka masala pizza and trust me they had such spectacular flavors to them. Surprisingly, the Paneer Tikka Masala stood out to be the best! The paneer was soft and firm, the sauce on the base was amazing, it was thick enough and really flavorful. It is a crazy blend of pizza and paneer. The butter chicken pizza was amazing as well, all right flavors, not too spicy and not too sweet (which sometimes happens with butter chicken), perfect amount of herbs used, overall great in taste! The Chicken Tikka Masala is where I would say it was a 4/5. The pizza felt it was too garlicy and lacked the true flavor of CTM.  But 5/5 to this place because creativity and Pizzaaaaa ;)

My boys were in the mood for pizza yesterday, so we decided to go here after several other locations seemed to be closed when they're hours said they were open. We went inside and it was slow day, there was only a couple in the booth area besides us. Since my youngest is picky with pizza toppings, I knew we were already getting pepperoni. We decided on getting a Large and the guy at the counter let us know that they had a take out deal, 1 large pizza for $6, and you could still eat it there. A large pizza for only $6? How can you beat that? We also wanted to get a couple of drinks, and they have a Yelp deal where you spend $10 and get a free small drink...but our large pizza and 3 small drinks didn't even coming to 10! I don't eat pizza every often, but I had already decided that this place would be one of our new pizza spots...that is until we got the pizza. The pizza itself wasn't bad, my kids liked it, and for me it was ok. The issue I had with it, was the pepperoni....where was it? It was like Where In The World Is Carmen San Diego, or like trying to find Waldo. When I first opened the box I thought they had given me a cheese pizza, then I realized that the pepperoni was UNDER the cheese. A little weird as I've never seen a pizza made that way before, ok not a big deal. But I started looking for the pepperoni after that, and I don't think any of the slices of pizza had more then 1 slice of pepperoni each. So that was pretty disappointing. I get the pizza was cheap, but that was the "deal" they were promoting. I don't think that deal should have to mean going cheap on the topping(s) as well. OVERALL: Clean and quiet establishment, good current deal on a large pizza to go, disappointing pepperoni pizza. I'd call it a cheese pizza w/pepperoni, since it lacked the pepperoni. Not a bad place, but for me not worth going back even if the pizza was cheap.

Ordered a medium Butter Chicken pizza (half mild half spicy) along with a 6pc order of the Tandoori Chicken wings. Better than I expected. The wings were great, just that right amount of flavor on the skin and juicy in the inside. The pizza was delicious but wouldn't recommend making it "spicy" as it dominates over the cheese and herbs and chicken. Next time I'll try the Palak Paneer pizza because the combination of paneer and spinach is delectable and the excellent Chaat of India has moved to somewhere on Mack road. It would be nice if the paneer/spinach from Chicago's is on par with the excellent execution of Chaat's paneer/spinach.

FOOD If you're not drooling at the food pics, I'll forgive you, but you better get to the restaurant to try the food in person. Everything was SO flavorful, cooked to perfection, and plated in the most appealing way. With the hearty and filling portions, it's a surprise they didn't have to roll us out of there. Kids eat free on Sundays till 5pm, and the 6 kiddos we had with us had full bellies and lunch for school the next day. I'm not Italian but I have picky taste buds and yowzers! I'm still dreaming about this meal (from 4 days ago). The pasta was so fresh and cooked perfectly. The pizza crust was flavorful and supported the *mountain* of toppings (can I get an amen on that?!). Authentic, fresh, and absolutely delicious! SERVICE Nickolas was our server and not only did he go above and beyond to make our dining experience superb, he was friendly, and kind, and despite being busy for dinner service he made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. From the moment we walked into the restaurant to when we left, he truly elevated our dining experience. AMBIANCE There's a beautiful mural painted inside that just transports you to Italy. The decor is so cute and just makes you feel like you're walking into Nonna's house. MISC Tons of parking available in the free lot. LOTS of options for vegetarians, meat eaters, and the pickiest of eaters. We were a huge party, and they accommodated us with no problems. I also love how involved they are in the community -- their willingness to give back to local schools and churches through fundraising is outstanding. They really check every box, y'all! Food: 10/10 Service: 9.5/10…read moreAmbiance: 10/10 Piatti's is truly a great Italian restaurant. The ambiance is top notch and the food was incredible. I recommend making reservations ahead of time, because the place does get pretty busy. We happened to drop in on a weekend the same weekend as a high school's homecoming party had dinner. The shopping center this restaurant is in is also currently under construction so navigating to the restaurant was a little tricky. The restaurant is definitely family friendly. The space allows for big groups (we were a group of 11) but most parties come in groups of 2 or 4. Very romantic and scenic. The decor, and the ambiance is intimate and relaxing. Service was a little slow in the begging but I truly think it's because of how busy it was that night. By the second half of our dinner, our server was on it and made sure we were taken care of. The food was impeccable. Everything on the menu was fantastic. If you're in the area, I am confident that any selections you make on the menu won't disappoint. We received our bread and appetizer, but then we waited...and waited. As the restaurant filled up, we watched table after table receive their meals, eat, and leave while we still had no entrées. The couple next to us arrived about 20 minutes after we did, received their food, sent it back because it wasn't good, got replacement meals, and still finished before we were ever served. Each time we asked about our food, we were simply told, "It's coming," while the staff avoided eye contact. After more than an hour, our food was finally brought out by the owner's son. His explanation was that our steak took a long time to cook. That's simply not believable. A steak doesn't take over an hour to prepare, especially when every other table around us had already been served. I would have respected an honest explanation far more than an obvious excuse. To make matters worse, the steak was thin, overcooked, chewy, and cold by the time it reached the table. The quality was nowhere near what we've come to expect from this restaurant. I told the owner's son that I was more upset about the dishonest explanation than the delayed food. We've been loyal customers and planned to keep coming back, but honesty and accountability matter. Instead of acknowledging what happened, the owner came out, pointed his finger in my face, and became defensive because I called out the excuse his son gave. Rather than apologizing or trying to make the situation right, he escalated it into an unnecessary confrontation. Everyone makes mistakes. Kitchens get backed up. Orders get lost. Customers are generally understanding when businesses are honest and take responsibility. What I can't overlook is being misled and then treated disrespectfully when I questioned it. Unfortunately, this was the worst dining experience we've ever had here, and unless the owners learn how to handle problems with honesty and professionalism, I can't recommend this restaurant.

I wasn't expecting good Italian food in Sacramento, so when a colleague suggested this place for…read moredinner, I agreed. Im also not much an Italian food fan really. Crazy I say this as I was in a serious relationship once with an Italian lol. I know I sound like a miserable wretched human being, but its quite ubiquitous and a lot of it is not too hard to make. But I do like a good pizza and there are Italian dishes I like (ones I cannot make like Sardinian wild boar or squid ink pasta). First, this dining room is gorgeous, the bar space is really nice. Saw a handsome gent in a nice suit sitting at the bar, which was a nice accessory to an already elegant and dare I say sexy bar? I had a drink here and then our party moved to a table when everyone arrived. My colleague did us the favor and ordered some antipasti dishes for us and made good choices. The carpaccio was great (and I loved the grana padano cheese - one that I can have) and also enjoyed the tartara di tonno - which is seared ahi tuna. Both with copious amounts of arugula (my favorite). Great choices as I love raw anything that's well made. Since it was Tuesday, one of my colleagues ordered the pasta trio which is a special for Tuesdays. No idea if it was any good, but colleague cleaned the plate. My other colleague ordered the risotto (which looked great and I love risotto and can make it myself), large portion size and she had a good portion leftover for another meal. I had the branzino in crosta. The portion size for my dish was ridiculous. Fish was decent, but I have had better (in Italy fresh caught). Rooted veggies were probably my favorite (I'm a rabbit and love veggies) and the grilled polenta was so-so. My colleagues ordered panna cotta al limone and it was excellent. I am used to a denser consistency panna cotta and this one was lighter one but well made. I love limoncello or anything with lemons, so this was just lovely. There is only one kind of tiramisu (more pudding style) I like which is made by North Italia and the one here likely was the traditional tiramisu so I declined to get dessert. Overall, a very good choice for a business dinner. Food was good. I deducted one star because I am not much into chain restaurants and prefer to support mom and pop type places. I deducted another star because the service was so SLOW and while we ordered some sparkling for the table, some of us did not get still water and I recall not having much water to drink and its summer. Also, I think the New Yorker in me just doesnt have much patience, but it does seem the cadence here was a different speed I am used to. I'd definitely return to have a few cocktails at the bar, and come back for their HH specials too. This location is in a beautiful setting and I'd come back just to sit at the bar and quietly ogle which cutie might show up...
