08.04.2026 | Pizza Twist - Elk Grove, CA Sometimes the best food finds happen when you're not even looking for them. I stopped by Pizza Twist because I needed something quick to eat before taking my vitamins. My original plan? Just grab a couple of samosas and head out. But the moment I walked inside, I realized this place was so much more than a pizza shop. The menu is packed with a delicious mix of Indian favorites and fusion pizzas, and honestly, everything looked so tempting. Think of it as an Indian-inspired fast-casual restaurant with a creative twist. I didn't have time to stay for a full meal, but after tasting their samosas, I already know I'll be back. What I Ordered: Samosas (2 pieces) These were surprisingly flavorful. The crispy pastry was lightly dusted with aromatic Indian spices, giving every bite an extra layer of flavor. Inside was a hearty filling of chunky potatoes seasoned with warm curry spices that tasted fresh, comforting, and perfectly balanced. They were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and disappeared way too fast. Now I'm genuinely excited to come back and try their curries, rice dishes, and of course, one of their signature Indian fusion pizzas. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked incredible. Final Verdict: This unexpected stop turned into a place I'll definitely be visiting again. If you're in Elk Grove and enjoy Indian flavors--or you're curious about Indian-inspired pizza--Pizza Twist deserves a spot on your list. Looking forward to my next visit! 08.04.2026 | Pizza Twist - Elk Grove, CA Sometimes the best food finds happen when you're not even looking for them. Food is terrible here. Came here for late lunch and no one was at the register. Had to say excuse me and ring the bell to get the attention of the staff. Food was very disappointing and we left unsatisfied. read more

I had a disappointing experience with this location. I ordered a cheese pizza for my daughter and was told it would take about 20 minutes. I arrived approximately 30 minutes later, but there was no one at the counter, so I had to ring the bell and wait. When someone eventually came out, I had to wait an additional 15 minutes. I was initially handed someone else's pizza by mistake before receiving the correct cheese pizza. What concerned me most were the hygiene practices I observed during my visit. The employee appeared to come out of the restroom wearing headphones, and I could not tell whether proper handwashing procedures had been followed as she flushed and ran out immediately. I also observed a man walking around the back area without shoes. Because I was concerned about the food-handling environment, I ultimately decided not to let my daughter eat the pizza. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and reviews the location's food-safety and hygiene practices. I would also encourage the appropriate health authorities to inspect the establishment to ensure proper health and sanitation standards are being followed. read more

1 Star -- Absolutely Embarrassing Customer Service. Still Waiting for My Order. If I could give this business ZERO stars, I would. This has been one of the most frustrating and ridiculous ordering experiences I've ever had. The absolute lack of communication, coordination, and accountability is unbelievable. I received messages from THREE DIFFERENT PARTIES regarding the same order, and somehow nobody seemed to know what was going on. First, I received a text saying my order was ready and that they were assigning a driver. Great, right? Except that things went downhill immediately. I then started receiving messages from people saying they were waiting for my order. One person told me they were waiting to pick it up. Another message came through saying the order was ready. When I asked about the ETA, I was told they had no live delivery estimate and that preparation usually takes 15-20 minutes. How does that make any sense when I had already been told my order was ready and being assigned to a driver? It gets even worse. When I followed up because of the excessive delay, I was told they couldn't even see my order status because they didn't have the order in front of them. Then, almost as if nobody had read the previous messages, I received another text assuring me that my order was on its way. So which is it? Is my order ready? Is someone waiting to pick it up? Is it being prepared? Is it on the way? Does ANYONE actually know what's happening? Apparently not. I explained the situation, pointed out the conflicting messages, and expressed my frustration. Yet here I am, writing this review while I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ORDER. This isn't just about a late order. Things happen. Restaurants and delivery services get busy. I understand that. What I will not excuse is the complete failure to communicate honestly and consistently with a paying customer. If three different people or parties are involved in handling one order, there should be some basic coordination between them. Customers should not have to play detective, chase down updates, and piece together contradictory text messages just to figure out whether their food is ever going to arrive. The worst part is that I had to spend my own time repeatedly asking questions that somebody on their end should have been able to answer. Instead of receiving a clear explanation and a realistic ETA, I got more confusion, more waiting, and more frustration. At this point, I have absolutely no confidence in this business's ability to handle even a basic order properly. I will not be ordering from here again. And based on this experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering ordering here to think twice and consider their alternatives. A business doesn't have to be perfect, but it should at least know the status of an order it claims is ready, communicate with its delivery personnel, and respect its customers' time. This experience failed on every single one of those fronts. An absolute masterclass in how to lose a customer. read more

Don't get the chicken tikka burger. It's nothing like the picture in the advertisement. Also, the menu says the burgers are served with fries but that's not true. When asked, the staff said fries are extra. Total false advertisement. read more

Ordered two pizzas to try this place out. I didn't love it but I also didn't hate it. Was very mediocre to me. Definitely fresh and hot out the oven but I just wasn't a huge fan. Inside has a few tables you can sit at. read more

This was my first time here and their menu showed a photo of a chicken tikka burger. It looked like a delicious spicy piece of fried chicken patty in a burger bun. Instead, this is what I got: little cubes of flavorless, boneless chicken breast in a bun with lots of ketchup! Why do they even have a burger on their menu if they won't make a burger??? This looks like chicken shit. So disappointed. I will not be coming here again, not even for their pizza. It took them at least 15 minutes to make this one fake "burger" when not a single other customer was there. I should've known to leave immediately when I saw that there were no other customers there. Everything else didn't look tempting on their menu because everything was overpriced or looked small, especially their veggie options. read more

Pizza was just ok. Went to pickup an order was told 5mins. Waited 20mins. Went to ask and they ask what did we order they werent even busy. On top of that the worker didnt speak fluent english. Maybe they should know more if they r working in a business like that. I wont be going back there ever again! read more

We have tried this place few times but I don't know if it got bought out or owners changed. The wait time for food was about 1 hr. Food didn't taste the same as before. Ordered gobi Manchurian but its was all chopped up Manchurian balls tasted too spicy. Place wasn't clean. Tables were still dirty. Wait time with kids was just the hardest part. I would not recommend this place. read more

I was really excited to try this place because vegan pizza options are hard to find, but unfortunately this was a big disappointment. The pizza arrived ice cold, the crust was extremely thin and flimsy, and it was soggy by the time it got to us. I understand it was gluten-free, but there should be an option for a regular (non-gluten-free) crust because this one just didn't hold up at all. I also paid extra to add mushrooms, and they were barely existent on the pizza. For nearly $30, I expected much better quality and value. The pizza looked nothing like the photo advertised. Sadly, I wouldn't order this again. read more

I ordered creamy garlic chicken with Small (Serving size 1-2 person), Crispy Thin Crust, Garlic White Sauce, Mozzarella cheese, and extra Diced Tomatoes through Grubhub. My husband and I were quite satisfied with this flavor; it's light and not overly flavorful. The pizza size is perfect for 2 people serving. The staff is friendly. Also, I got some of their Indian sweet desserts. This plaza has plenty of parking. read more

Came in on July 4th with my parents and it was fairly empty, lots of seating service: great! My parents and I were a bit indecisive on what we wanted, so we asked for recommendations. They were able to give us dry rub and sauce on the side for the wings we ordered! food: we got the large curry chicken pizza, 10 bone-in lemon pepper rub wings with mango habanero sauce on the side! The curry chicken pizza was really good, next time I would get a spicier level if I come with friends instead of my parents! The wings were absolutely FIRE!! The outside is so crispy and dry while the inside is juicyyy. They were on the smaller side, but that helped with distributing the flavor! when you take a bite, the exterior is seasoned enough to cover for the inside. Usually, other wings I've had don't season enough and so the interior is fairly bland, but not this one!! 10/10 would visit again :) read more

We ordered online for Achari Chicken Pizzatwist, Chili Corn Pizza and Butter Chicken Naan Pizza. We were able to use a coupon online. We scheduled for a pick up time and when we got there, we waited about 10 minutes more than the pick up time. But it's okay cause the pizzas were hot and fresh when it came out. We checked the pizzas before we left, and one of the boxes was a medium when it should have been a large. They took it back and got the large box quickly. The pizzas were good and filling. read more

I placed an order for delivery through their website at 9:01 pm and it didn't give me an update or anything so I called at 9:49 pm bc I had no confirmation or tracking information. The lady on the phone said it'd be another 25 minutes so there I go waiting. At 10:48pm I called again because it's almost been 2 hours, so where's my food? The lady over the phone had no sense of urgency & lacked the knowledge in my orders status. She said it wasn't up to her for the delay and it was up to doordash or ubereats to come and pick up the food to deliver. So I offered to come pick up as long as I get a refund in the delivery fee and even that wasn't available? There was no type of compensation or anything to make up for the late food and having to pick up the food ourselves when we paid for delivery. It is really frustrating when I have to send my little brother out to pick up the food for our family late at night after we have been waiting for already two hours for the food on top of that. read more

Had the large Supreme this evening - very tasty with fresh ingredients. Flavorful tomato sauce, lots of cheese, and the dough is also seasoned well. Lovely crust. It's the best "Supreme" version there is among the various chains. read more

Definitely will be returning to try more from this unique menu! What I was able to try today, I enjoyed: - Masala wings - full of flavor but not too overpowering with the spices. - cheese bread - great portion and perfect ratio of sauce & crust for me. Sauce seems to be a ranch base of some sort, which was unexpected but yummy. read more

I pre-ordered three family sized pizzas for the Super Bowl game through their website. I placed order at 10am to be completed by 1:40-1:50pm. I had multiple text confirmations from the restaurant notifying me that the pizza was on time. When I arrived at the restaurant the pizzas weren't ready and the employee told she didn't have my order on record. She acknowledged that she had seen my order at the beginning of the shift and didn't know what happened after that. I informed her that I had a large party waiting for our gathering and the food but she seemed uninterested. I asked if I could receive some sort of discount for the trouble and she replied by saying no. She told me to take it up with Door Dash. I'm a little frustrated to say the least. Clearly they just forgot to make the food. So, the food is great, restaurant seems clean, however don't expect any apologies, or good customer service. I don't know about you but good customer service matters. read more

We saw that this place finally opened. We went in and there was a couple of people eating inside. They had a large case with desserts in them. I asked but those were not glutton free. My wife ordered a small mushroom pizza to try it. We took it to go. It was ok, the crust was kind of hard and you could tell it was GF. The flavor was unique. I kind of liked the flavor but the crust was just ok. Took a video of the desserts hope to try them next time. read more

Pizza twist has been opened for about a month now. We decided to try it. They had a lot of variety, lots of options. I ordered a medium gluten free pizza with red sauce and mushrooms. Sometimes gluten free crust isn't the greatest, but I asked the counter guy, he said it was good and he liked it. I thought I would give it a try. The gluten free pizza was ok. I have had some other gluten free that were better. read more

Excellent pizza and great service! I wish we would have discovered this place sooner. We will be back.

We spent $90 and not even a penny was worth it. Tables were left uncleaned. Food was not up to expectations or modifications. Ambiance was dirty. Cashier wasn't paying attention to the order, we asked one medium pizza and got over charged for another small pizza. Our order took forever. Honestly, never visiting again nor recommending it to anyone else. read more

Great pizza and service. I usually come here every other week and always the pizza is spot on. Highly recommended

I highly recommend this place, best pizza in town! My personal favorite is the Achari chicken pizza

Attended grand opening today. Got to try lots of different dishes: curry chicken pizza, chicken tandoori pasta, several desserts. All very good and just enough spice. You can request your level of spice. I bought a lamb kabob pizza and samosas to go for hubby. Nicely decorated and lots of seating. In the shopping center with Kohls.
