I'm sure there's a segment of the population that loves eating stems...for me it's kind of a pain in the ass. I want peppers on my pizza in every bite. I don't want this big ass pepper that I have to destem before eating. Weird. Pizza was ok. Standard dough type. They use a Good ham for pizza. Don't let the size of the pizzeria fool you. Move over Round Table and your over priced pie. The PB pie is full of toppings. We hold the mushrooms and they are glad to put more peppers on the pie for us. The toppings are always fresh. The lunch buffet can't be beat. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Prices are fair. Best pizza in Elk Grove. It's been around forever. The all you can eat lunch from 11 am to 2 pm every day is a great deal. $14.75 plus tax. Includes salad bar and breadsticks too. Typical pizzeria atmosphere. Also outside patio tables. Several big screens. Service is good. read more

We live in Wilton so there are two pizza places close. We've tried both and we always enjoy Pizza Bell more. Tonight we picked up half pepperoni and mushrooms and half garlic chicken on our way home. Between two of us, we can't finish a large but a medium is too small and who doesn't love leftover pizza for breakfast? read more

Went to pick up a Pepperoni and combination pizza for take out.(sorry no photo) Ordered in the store and the young lady at the register (didn't get her name) was so courteous and pleasant. Walter answered our questions about the different beers and was very knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered our drinks and sat inside. We ended up eating a slice at the restaurant and it is always delicious. The ambiance was very nice and inviting and the store was clean. Pizza Bell has always been my go-to for yummy pizza in the Elk Grove area, but I'm pretty disappointed by my last order. I called in an order for 3 PB Twisters and a mini pizza on Monday and the timing of the order was perfect. Service was okay. The guy at the counter was incredibly quiet and gave me the vibe that he really didn't want to be there. Lol My issue is that the PB Twisters were so thin! Great food, friendly staff, but understaffed. We ate here the other day with a large group, and thankfully there was a nice large table in the middle to accommodate us. The dining area is very small, so if you're looking to eat here on a Friday night you might not be so lucky. (They do have a large area outside but not in this 100° weather). I ordered a large veggie ($30) which was absolutely great. Loads of toppings, thin crust, every bite was wonderful. However, the first time they brought out the pizza it had onions on it, which we requested they hold. It's even on the receipt, and as soon as the server brought it to us, she noticed the onions and apologized. They remade it and about 15 minutes later we were eating. (They also offered for us to keep the first pizza at no charge, but when they took it away to box up for us, they never brought it back out... so... ‍) The couple next to us ordered a pizza and they forgot to bring it out to them, so it got cold on the counter. Again, they remade it and let them keep the cold one. When we ordered, they offered us free breadsticks. Those never came out, and we never asked about them. The beer was "just okay". I was tempted to get a salad, but the salad bar was really unkept and a bit limited compared to other places like Round Table. What's peculiar is that there were a lot of employees running around doing things -- but I got the impression that everyone is responsible for everything, with no specialization of duties. This might explain the mistakes we saw during our visit. read more

Pizza Bell lunch buffet for the win! This location has a small indoor space but really nice covered patio outdoors. Parking is a little tough but I got lucky and found a spot during lunch hour. I ordered a side of the PB Twisters and it was probably my favorite part of the whole meal! They're HUGE so they can easily be split in half and feed twice the amount of people. Contrary to the name, they are NOT peanut butter filled, but just a warm pillowy deliciously seasoned breadstick from heaven. Service was okay, the guy working the register did not have a care in the world and didn't smile for a single person. Oh well, just ring me up and give me my plate and cup so I can go feast. The buffet was good and because there were a lot of people eating there today, the pizza rotation was moving quickly and I got to try several different kinds. I love the cinnamon bread sticks too! The BEST pizza. Vegetebell is my absolute favorite pizza ever. The service is always super friendly and fast and their beer selection is great. My only issue is that they don't chop their peppers, but the food is good enough to overlook it. It's definitely worth the drive out of Elk Grove to try out read more

Pizza Bell has missed the mark for me lately... I used to always order their Buzzer Beater special (one large 1-topping pizza, 6 PB twisters, and 12 wings for $37.99), mainly because I loved the PB twisters. But the last two times I ordered it from here, the twisters were over-cooked and not as flavorful. The pizza is decent, but I think the pizza from Fat Mike's nearby tastes better. The wings are good, but you can get wings anywhere. read more

Yesterday we ate there. We got an order of twisters, a salad, a large vegan pizza and I had a small vegan gluten-free veggie pizza. They burned my pizza and when I asked for a new one, I waited at my table for almost 20 minutes thinking I was getting another pizza made and instead the manager lady came out to our table and told me the gluten-free pizza does that and there was nothing they could do about it. I told her about my experience with gluten-free pizza crust in the past and said if you put it in halfway instead of the full run it wouldn't burn. I then was given so much attitude and a lecture about how the vegetables won't be cooked and they wouldn't be responsible for another redo. She tried to intimidate me her attitude was disgusting. I have never in my life been treated like it was MY FAULT when/if a restaurant burned my food! NO WONDER they're going out of business! read more
