My pizza was pretty delicious. I do normally enjoy a thin, crispy crust. So my first pieces took me a bit to enjoy PB Supremes crust. So even the next day as I enjoyed my leftover pizza, I realized with all the topping with the crust it all married together very well. So now I am finding myself wanting to go and enjoy their lunch buffet. So I am glad I tried Pizza Bell. I'm sure giving them a try would find you enjoying their pizza as well!!! read more

Twenty-plus years and this place still reigns supreme! I used to come here as a little kid, wide-eyed and holding my parents hands. Fast forward to today, and I'm the one letting my own kids loose on their awesome pizza buffet. It is pure, delicious nostalgia in every slice. Let me start by saying I love pizza bell & especially love their PB Twisters... this was all I ordered the other day as an afternoon snack and was super disappointed by the portion size and how small all 6 of these were for $10. I'm not sure if this is the new normal, but it's pretty sad how the size of food decreases nowadays but the prices increase... still giving a good review because they tasted good despite the size and as I stated Pizza Bell is my fave!!! I'm sure there's a segment of the population that loves eating stems...for me it's kind of a pain in the ass. I want peppers on my pizza in every bite. I don't want this big ass pepper that I have to destem before eating. Weird. Pizza was ok. Standard dough type. They use a Good ham for pizza. Don't let the size of the pizzeria fool you. Move over Round Table and your over priced pie. The PB pie is full of toppings. We hold the mushrooms and they are glad to put more peppers on the pie for us. The toppings are always fresh. The lunch buffet can't be beat. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Prices are fair. Went to pick up a Pepperoni and combination pizza for take out.(sorry no photo) Ordered in the store and the young lady at the register (didn't get her name) was so courteous and pleasant. Walter answered our questions about the different beers and was very knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered our drinks and sat inside. We ended up eating a slice at the restaurant and it is always delicious. The ambiance was very nice and inviting and the store was clean. Pizza Bell has always been my go-to for yummy pizza in the Elk Grove area, but I'm pretty disappointed by my last order. I called in an order for 3 PB Twisters and a mini pizza on Monday and the timing of the order was perfect. Service was okay. The guy at the counter was incredibly quiet and gave me the vibe that he really didn't want to be there. Lol My issue is that the PB Twisters were so thin! Pizza Bell lunch buffet for the win! This location has a small indoor space but really nice covered patio outdoors. Parking is a little tough but I got lucky and found a spot during lunch hour. I ordered a side of the PB Twisters and it was probably my favorite part of the whole meal! They're HUGE so they can easily be split in half and feed twice the amount of people. Contrary to the name, they are NOT peanut butter filled, but just a warm pillowy deliciously seasoned breadstick from heaven. Service was okay, the guy working the register did not have a care in the world and didn't smile for a single person. Oh well, just ring me up and give me my plate and cup so I can go feast. The buffet was good and because there were a lot of people eating there today, the pizza rotation was moving quickly and I got to try several different kinds. I love the cinnamon bread sticks too! Great food, friendly staff, but understaffed. We ate here the other day with a large group, and thankfully there was a nice large table in the middle to accommodate us. The dining area is very small, so if you're looking to eat here on a Friday night you might not be so lucky. (They do have a large area outside but not in this 100° weather). I ordered a large veggie ($30) which was absolutely great. Loads of toppings, thin crust, every bite was wonderful. However, the first time they brought out the pizza it had onions on it, which we requested they hold. It's even on the receipt, and as soon as the server brought it to us, she noticed the onions and apologized. They remade it and about 15 minutes later we were eating. (They also offered for us to keep the first pizza at no charge, but when they took it away to box up for us, they never brought it back out... so... ‍) The couple next to us ordered a pizza and they forgot to bring it out to them, so it got cold on the counter. Again, they remade it and let them keep the cold one. When we ordered, they offered us free breadsticks. Those never came out, and we never asked about them. The beer was "just okay". I was tempted to get a salad, but the salad bar was really unkept and a bit limited compared to other places like Round Table. What's peculiar is that there were a lot of employees running around doing things -- but I got the impression that everyone is responsible for everything, with no specialization of duties. This might explain the mistakes we saw during our visit. read more

The BEST pizza. Vegetebell is my absolute favorite pizza ever. The service is always super friendly and fast and their beer selection is great. Pizza Bell has missed the mark for me lately... I used to always order their Buzzer Beater special (one large 1-topping pizza, 6 PB twisters, and 12 wings for $37.99), mainly because I loved the PB twisters. But the last two times I ordered it from here, the twisters were over-cooked and not as flavorful. The pizza is decent, but I think the pizza from Fat Mike's nearby tastes better. The wings are good, but you can get wings anywhere. read more

We got there a few minutes before happy hour ended so we quickly ordered drinks and an appetizer to start - Sangria, Desert Bloom and the Bruschetta. My friend and I split the Lemon Pistachio Linguine - splitting it was the perfect amount of food. It also came with a huge slice of garlic bread. All of the food was really good - I liked the melted cheese on the Bruschetta and the pasta was perfectly seasoned. Our server was also very friendly, attentive and gave great recommendations - we appreciated her telling us that they could split the pasta in half when we told her we were sharing. We'll be back next time we're in Elk Grove!

I love this place. I'm a super picky eater and every time they get it spot on. I don't eat meat or dairy so I order the vegetarian, bbq sauce or just red sauce, and all the veggies, and add pineapple. Never disappointed and I don't even order ahead of time because I love ordering a big ole beer while I wait and sit out on the deck. The service is awesome. Thanks!! Love it!!! read more

I would say some frozen pies from a grocery store had a better tasting bottom crust. Their bottom crust here tasted uncooked, hard, no bounce, and just flavorless. And yes, reminded me of a thick cardboard. blah. The person baking the pies kept lifting the bottom of each pie making sure it was not burnt. Was the oven temperature off? not sure. But this pie i could not consume. after one slice I asked for a box to take home. i will try air frying this pie to see if it can be improved. Romas and Luigi's - dont worry. This place does not match the quality of your pies.
