Great spot that I found on yelp and noticed that a lot of elite members favored this pizzeria. All the ingredients tasted fresh and the specialty pizzas had amazing flavors. I ordered got to us in reasonable time considering it was entering dinner time. The environment totally feels like a pizza restaurant with arcades, TVs with sporting events and memorabilia all over the restaurant. I will definitely recommend this place. We ordered the cowboy and chocolate cannoli for dessert.

My husband and I drove by this place multiple times and we finally decided to stop and try it. It's super cute. Located right next to a diner. Upon entering the parking lot Fat Mike's definitely gives off a diner vibe also which I thought was sooo cool. They have 2 dinning room and an arcade room. The first is the entrance which has a diner feel to it. The next room was more restaurant/family style seating room. The third room was the arcade room. We got there during lunch time so we decided to get their lunch specials. My husband got a personal pizza and I got a salad and some wings for myself. The pizza was very good. Crust was not too soft and not too hard. Salad and wings were okay. Will be back to try more of their pizzas.

This is one of the best local places to get a pizza. I have been coming here a few times a year for more than 18 years and I have loved every single pizza. The food is always hit and fresh and the owners have a passion for what they do. I have had their other offerings and enjoy their breadsticks as well. If you want a local spot that has a small town feel , come give them a shot.

Great local place to eat. They have a variety of different foods. We like to order pizza from here and we finally tried their lasagna which was very good. Their lasagna is enough to share with 2 people. There's plenty of parking and seating inside.

I highly recommend this pizza spot. We ordered this deal that the staff offered to us. The service was very friendly and helpful. It made our visit much more enjoyable. We ordered the dinner salad. It was really good and refreshing. We ordered the garlic sticks with cheese. They were nice and hot. The cheese was very gooey and warm. It came with a side of ranch sauce and marinara sauce. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza. It was really good and loaded with pepperoni. And lastly we ordered half combination and meat. It was very delicious and completely satisfied my pizza craving. It was more than enough for our party. This is a perfect place for pizza LOVERS!

    Family size Mavericks, so good!

Fat Mikes Pizza is an amazing part of the Elk Grove community celebrating their anniversary today. They opened 8/7/92! I overheard this cool fact today while enjoying a cold beer waiting for my pizza. I can tell you that i have been coming here since the mid 90s and its a solid choice for amazing pizza and food! Happy Anniversary! We love you!

Anytime I ask the family, Fat Mikes? It's a YES! This is a true pizza joint, video games, sports, tv, large accommodations, and high quality pizza! The customer service is A+, the manager always makes you feel like you're part of the family. Today we took home a large pepperoni/olive pizza and bread sticks. They are not shy with the toppings. Keep up the good work Fat Mikes!

While the west side of Elk Grove grows more and more chaotic by the day, the east side remains pretty quiet. In this particular part of the city there lies a pizza spot with a blast-from-the-past, diner-esque interior. The Maui wowie pizza pretty much tasted slightly above average; a little tastier than pizza from a pizza chain though could've had a larger portion of toppings. The garlic sticks though.....highly recommend! Very soft and quite flavorful with the garlic seasoning. Easy to down a few of them fast without thinking. Friendly staff here. Overall recommend for a chill, low-key family pizza feast or to just order pizza (+ garlic sticks!) to-go away from the hustle-and-bustle part of EG.

So after hitting the Oktoberfest festival in Elk Grove, the boys hit us with the inevitable: "We…read morewant pizza!" Now, instead of going to one of our usual spots, we decided to jump into the deep end and just see where the waves took us. Somehow, those waves washed us right into Old Town Pizza, with a little extra push from some of our local officers who told us, "Yeah, that's definitely a good choice." Alright officers... y'all got this one right. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was AMAZING. We felt welcomed, everybody was friendly, and the atmosphere just had that fun, laid-back family feel. Then came the pizza... THE CHEESE PULL!!! Listen, when you pull a slice away and the cheese is still trying to maintain a long-distance relationship with the rest of the pizza, you know somebody in that kitchen is doing something right. The pizza tasted great, the crust was good, and the whole family enjoyed it. And y'all know I can turn into Mr. Scrooge REAL QUICK when I start looking at prices. "HOW MUCH?! For PIZZA?!" But today? Nope. Between the food, service, atmosphere, and seeing the family having a good time, I felt like it was worth it. They even have a fun little selection of arcade games. We didn't play them this time, but the boys definitely noticed them. So I already know what's probably happening on the next visit. Great service Great pizza Legendary cheese pull Happy wife and kids Mr. Scrooge kept quiet That's a 5-star family outing in my book. We'll definitely be back!

Okay... THIS is how pizza is supposed to taste…read more We ended up at Old Town Pizzeria completely by recommendation--and I'm so glad we did. We had taken the boys to the pumpkin festivals in Galt and Elk Grove, and between the heat being approximately 3,000 degrees in the middle of October and the food-vendor lines being ridiculously long, we decided to grab a few snacks, enjoy the festivals, and find real food afterward. On our way out of the Elk Grove festival, we actually asked one of the cops if they knew a good pizza spot. He gave us a couple recommendations, and Old Town Pizzeria was one of them. Another person basically told us, "Nah, this place is GOOD." They were not lying. This pizza was FIRE. The sauce was perfect. The cheese was perfect. And I mean the perfect amount of cheese--not drowning in it, not skimping on it. The toppings were placed perfectly, the crust was exactly what I wanted, and every bite just worked. And yes, we got the cheese-pull pictures to prove it. The lady helping us even told my husband she was going to make us a regular. Ma'am... we unfortunately live in Sacramento, but you may have accidentally created a problem because I will absolutely be back. Anytime I'm in Elk Grove now, this is going to be the pizza place I think about. I'll be honest: I didn't even ask Sean how much he paid until afterward, so I'm not going to pretend I know whether this is the cheapest pizza in town. But he said it was reasonably priced, and for the quality we got, I was completely satisfied. All I know is this beats the big-chain pizza options for me any day. Domino's, Pizza Hut, Mountain Mike's... y'all have some competition over here. Old Town Pizzeria officially made a statement and has earned a spot on my "if I'm in Elk Grove, I'm getting this" list. Excellent pizza, great recommendation, and absolutely worth coming back for.

But this location is (and has been) an absolute mess for at least 10 years, if not longer. I don't know that I have ever received a 100% correct order from this location. In a world where "none pizza, left beef" is basically a foundational meme of the internet, this location seems consistently bewildered by the fact that people want one pizza with different ingredients on each half. We order The Whole Nine Yards but without bell pepper, mushroom, and olives on half. This is not a complicated order. But to this location, that order is like trying to do calculus. Ordering a pizza with different ingredients on each half is a standard way to order pizza now, but this location seems completely unfamiliar with the concept. Even when the receipt is correct (a rare occurrence), the kitchen screws it up. Today we (a family of four) also ordered a dinner salad. We were given 3 plates and two forks. It appears even basic math is too difficult. My family and I keep coming back because we love the pizza, but this staff is absolutely clueless. It's absolutely baffling to me.

The Pizza Guys on Bruceville road in Elk Grove always makes the most delicious pizza! I even tried the Pizza Hut down the street from them but their pizza was so nasty. Carl, one of the workers at the Pizza Guys always greets me and is always friendly. I'm starting to learn their names since I've been eating there so much haha. I've never had a bad experience with Carl other than one time the place was so busy and the customers started getting rude and impatient. I've worked at a Little Caesars and know how that goes so I kept calm and tried to reassure the other customers that they're just very busy and light staffed that day. Today's experience was no different, my order was very quick because it wasn't busy and I got to stop by and chat with the workers. The location and overall cleanliness is never an issue, although the lobby is small but I'm usually in and out in a few minutes. I wait until I get the notification that my pizza is ready, which is almost always accurate. I highly recommend this Pizza Guys location over other pizza chains if you want great tasting pizza with fresh ingredients! -Tek
