Good food here but don't walk in at 10:20 am like I did , they won't be happy with you at all , it was a mistake because I didn't check the opening time but if it's closed, maybe they should keep the doors locked until 11 AM sharp like other businesses . Hopefully it doesn't earn me a permanent ban from that place but if they want mistakes like that to be prevented, Steve's pizza should keep their doors locked until they actually open . The pizza is delicious! The dough is fluffy but crispy on the bottom. Pure perfection. The bread sticks are so good. The wings were crispy and saucy. The ranch is on point. Completely unacceptable behavior from someone who is supposed to serve customers. This place sucks and that employee in particular is a nightmare. Absolutely disgusting service at Steve's Pizza. Went in with my family to grab some slices and the employee, completely lost it on me for throwing a cup of ice in the trash. There was literally ZERO place to dump it -- not at the soda fountain, nowhere. We recently tried Steve's Pizza on Waterman for the first time. We ordered as part of a fundraiser for " Fly Brave Foundation", a Non-Profit organization that's very dear to our hearts. We ordered a few different pizzas to meet the various taste buds in my household. We don't always indulge this way, but since it was for such a good cause, we did on this night). Every one of us loved Steve's pizzas. They were delicious & very generous with the toppings. The crust was good too. Listen, my family loves pizza. If they could have it once a night, they totally would, but I'm personally not the biggest pizza person so we compromise at once a month. This month we tried Steve's because it was on my way home from work and UberEats delivery prices are getting insane. I ordered a family size creation with Canadian bacon, mushrooms, and red onion and a medium BBQ chicken. The pizza itself was really good. The service was attentive and kind. The price was definitely high, but everything makes me feel like my wallet's in an economic chokehold these days... If you have the funds and the hunger, I'd give Steve's a try. :) read more

"I give this place 10 out of 10!!" -- 7 year old child. Food and service is on point! Dined in on a Saturday night with my kids and the pizza here is delicious! We ordered half veggie and cheese along with an order of their "naked fries". They definitely aren't skimpy on the toppings here. Pizza was loaded with ample amount of fresh olives, onions, tomatoes green bell peppers & mushrooms. The best part that my kids & I enjoyed was the crust!! It had a nice warm, crispy crunch! I called in a pick-up order at about 8pm on Saturday night and they were nice enough to take my order an hour before closing. I ordered a medium half BBQ Chicken pizza and half "Steve's". This pie cost me $28.xx and let me tell you...it was small for $28! I'm not sure if its me, but pizza prices are ridiculously high now! Hopefully, they'll send out some mail coupons soon. lol My pizza was ready in 15 minutes and my husband and I were very happy with the amount of toppings they piled onto our pie. I also really enjoyed their thin crust. It wasn't cracker thin but still offered a nice crunch and didn't feel heavy. The menu seemed pretty limited in terms of specialty pizza options though. They also have burgers on their menu but there was a sticky note that said they were all out...I wonder if they just aren't offering them right now because they're still getting their footing right? Considering I live down the street, I would love to order for pick-up or even delivery again! But not at $28 for a medium pizza...hopefully they'll have coupons ready soon lol otherwise my business will remain at Mountain Mikes, which is just across the street. read more

Based on previous reviews, I'm assuming my experience was just a one-off. But unfortunately, it wasn't a good one. I came in with my 4-year-old daughter, and there was only one other customer finishing up. I ordered a medium cheese pizza. About 30 minutes later, one of the employees came over looking stressed and let me know that he had accidentally burned our pizza but had already put another one in the oven. I appreciated the honesty and told him thank you. While we waited, I noticed the same employee pacing and quietly muttering the F-word repeatedly under his breath. He clearly seemed overwhelmed. At one point, another customer mentioned that the water container was empty, but it didn't seem like he had the bandwidth to deal with it. When our pizza arrived, it was literally just a mound of melted cheese on dough with barely any sauce -- really unappetizing. My daughter, who usually loves pizza, took one bite and said "yuck," which says a lot. It was obvious the employee was stressed and probably short-staffed, and maybe that played a part in the quality of the food. At least, for the sake of the business, I hope it did -- because if that's how the pizza is usually made, that's a bigger issue. This is my fourth time coming in to Steve's because we simply just love it. The place is super clean, fast service, they are very efficient, friendly and their pizza is so good with plenty of fresh vegetables. They have an excellent crispy crust and a tangy sauce on the pizza. Our favorite pizzas is the Classic Vegetarian and the Steve's Combo. They have a variety of drinks to choose from, both alcoholic and non alcoholic with a high end soda machine with "designer soda" (although a few flavors were missing).You will not be disappointed. read more

At first I was going to give this place 1 star. I ordered a small make your own pizza. Half was ground beef with veggies, half was cheese with veggies. I asked them not to cut it because we didn't want the cheese to mix with the meat. I also paid for extra ground beef. When I arrived to pick it up, I didn't open the box. There was a seal on the box so I figured it's fine. When I got home I was EXTREMELY disappointed. There were 11 pieces of ground beef, the pizza was cut, and there was a piece of meat on the cheese half. Luckily I live close to Steve's Pizza so I drove back immediately. I spoke to the guy at the counter and told him about this issue. He apologized profusely and realized he messed up. He understood everything I was saying going forward. He remade the pizza correctly this time and also made it a medium size. He also offered me soda for free. The taste: really solid pizza. 7.8/10. Nice thin crust, I wish it was a little more well done. Slightly floppy. But taste was good. There's a mountain mikes and Chicago pizza across the street and I prefer this place over them. I hadn't been here in a while and I had had a pretty good experience with the lunch pizza. Yesterday i ordered the Wednesday special became the large was 40% off and I didn't feel like cooking. With tax and tip I was out the door around $25. The pizza was horrible. It was dry, the crust was too thick, the veggies were piled up and there was too much bells pepper and onions. I should have gone to R/T, but wanted to support local. I won't go back. That 40% off was a trap. read more

I was definitely taken back by their prices to start and decided that a 12" pizza was fine for 2 people to share. I ordered the Steve's pizza and when I came back in after 20min to pick up the pizza I opened the pizza box to check it. Looked at the pizza confused, looked at the menu confused then told the gal "this isn't a Steves" she proceeds to tell me I ordered an All Meat. I let her know I absolutely did not. Because I would never want a pizza without veggies. She proceeds to argue with me telling me I ordered the wrong pizza and I could buy another one!!! I asked her a receipt since I never received anything as I wanted to see what she rang in. She gives me a receipt. I scoff because now I'm also seeing I paid almost $30 for a 12" pizza that wasn't even what I asked for & for a pizza that had about as many toppings as a frozen pizza. We have been waiting for it to open and the food was worth the wait. The pizza is thick crust and delicious. We tried almost everything on the menu . The burger was good, average. The meat lovers pizza was delicious ! The crust is thick , and filling. The garlic wings were fire!! Soooo good!! But my favorite thing we tried was the spicy bread rolls. Made with fresh jalapeños! Nothing was greasy and everything was cooked perfect! They offer just a few beers on tap, we had Track Seven panic and bottled 805. They offer two bottled beers, 805 and Modelo. The seating area is pretty small, about 5-6 small tables. It's cute but tight inside. The service was very friendly. We will definitely be back. read more

I am looking for a new pizza place since the one we use is no longer in business. Tried Steve's tonight--we ordered a medium "Steve" ( minus the bell peppers cause I can't eat those) and 6 garlic Parmesan wings. The wings are nice and large, crispy and flavorful and they were served with a side of ranch.Overall, they were pretty good. The pizza however was kind of dry. I liked the original crust as it was crunchy and not soggy at all--almost like a soft pretzel.The toppings were plentiful--basically mostly meat. The only real problem I had with the pizza is that it was dry. There was hardly any pizza sauce on it at all. Not sure if the was a fluke or if they typically don't put a lot of sauce on their pizzas. I might order again if there were more sauce on the pizza without having to be charged extra. read more

The veggies on the steve were so dry looking and old. The all meat only contained pepperoni and sausage. Oh yeah, I ordered regular crust and it looked likes thin crust. We were looking for a pizza place to replace Fat Mikes(cuz their pizza is too salty) and thought Steve's was the place. This was our second time ordering. The first was pick up and it was good. How this place has 3.8 stars is beyond me. This is bowling alley pizza at its best, you are better off going to Costco for pizza! Ordered wings and pizza fries. The flavor was just not there. I'll start with the pizza fries. The cheese, pepperoni, and sauce seemed very low quality which made the flavor a little off. The fries themselves were decent but the pepperoni was dry and overcooked, the cheese tasted old, and the sauce had very little flavor. Next is the wings... they tasted like those frozen pre-cooked breaded wings that you get in the freezer isle at your local grocery store. The buffalo sauce was not of great quality either and had an overly salty dull taste to them. The garlic Parmesan sauce itself was decent at best, but the wings, again, were overly breaded and just not satisfactory at all. 2 of my co-workers and I spent 48 dollars total and ended up not eating majority of our order as it just wasn't good.
