Came here to check out the lunch buffet, which is 11-2pm on weekdays. It's $13.99 per person (kids under 5 are free) which includes salad bar and a drink, and we were excited to see on the website they will do 50% off for a second person. When we arrived we asked about that deal and she said they don't offer it anymore but would give a small discount if you mention it. We let her know that it still shows that offer on the website and she was a little bit rude about it, saying that people had to mention it and that she "can't read minds." I think she didn't even hear what we said about the website but it just seemed a bit unprofessional to talk to a customer like that. Other than that little interaction, I enjoyed the pizza buffet. Fresh pizzas were coming out often so the rack was never empty. I really liked the garlic chicken one and regretted not getting more since they didn't bring another one out after that. The breadsticks were also very delicious and fluffy! There are several TVs around the restaurant, some arcade games and quarter toy machines, and they even had some crayons and coloring pages at the counter for kids. Tons of seating inside, looks pretty similar to how it did when it was Pizza Bell, so if you were a fan back then, you'll probably enjoy it just as much now. read more

This was once one of our favorite pizza spots, and for a long time we truly enjoyed supporting this business. When the original Pizza Bell closed and an investor stepped in to keep the doors open under a new name, we were genuinely happy to see a long-standing local business continue. Even after the name change, we continued to order regularly, and in my opinion, the pizza remained some of the best in Elk Grove. Unfortunately, something has changed recently, and it was especially noticeable during our most recent visit. The pizza quality has significantly declined. The crust was cardboard-like, the flavor was almost nonexistent, and it felt nothing like what we had come to expect from this place. To make matters worse, we paid $95 for one small, one medium, and one large pizza, which is completely unreasonable given the quality we received. At that price point, expectations are high, and this fell far short. Honestly, I would rather spend $10 on a Costco pizza and enjoy the meal. In today's market, where customers have countless pizza options, pricing and quality are everything. If the food quality continues to decline while prices remain this high, it's going to be difficult for this business to survive long-term. This review is disappointing to write because we wanted this place to succeed, but something clearly needs to change. read more

I have been buying pizza from Patty's Pizza Shack (formally Pizza Bell) 8591 Elk Grove Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95624 for awhile and really like it. The pizza is made well with top notch ingredients. The crust is soft and thick with a great flavor. On this visit I experienced the lunch buffet, salad bar and beverage. This really was a great value! The counter person (pizza chef) was really welcoming and friendly. He asked arriving customers what pizza they like and would make them. He timed them so that everything would arrive at different times, which really impressed me-no 5 pizzas under heat lamps. I added corn ribs (added charge) and they were really good. Ears of corn are split, seasoned and cooked to produce a great taste and flavor. This is a clean, well maintained family restaurant that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you visit. read more

I searched for Pizza here on Yelp and this place popped up with high ratings, so I decided to stop by for dinner. The place has plenty of seating, feels fairly spacious, and is clean. I ordered a Hawaiian Pizza and buffalo wings to go. Both were so good. The pizza was amazing. Tasty, cheesy, and better than the a lot of Hawaiian pizzas I've tried. Service was good as well. I came here right when they opened and had the lunch buffet. I absolutely loved the pizza and the breadsticks. I originally was not going to have any breadsticks, but the aroma was intoxicating. They are soooo good. I had three of them. The salad bar had the normal offerings and the dressing I chose was good. I had a couple different types of pizza and enjoyed them all. The dough is made fresh daily and the sauce was darn good. Come give a local spot a chance. You will be glad you did. read more

It was our first time at Patty's Pizza Shack. We were there for an end-of-season baseball pizza party. The pizza was good (we got the medium Combination, which I highly recommend), the staff was friendly, and the place was clean. They had some video games in the corner, which kept the kids busy in between bites of pizza. I'm glad we got to experience this place and support a local Elk Grove restaurant. read more

We love supporting local and I really have never left a bad review but our Supreme pizza tonight was really not good. The pepperoni had zero flavor and the crust was so hard to chew and very tasteless. Felt like the ingredients just weren't any quality and it wasn't a cheap pizza. Both times I went in with my family and kids, the employees would stare at me and my family and give us dirty looks it's very odd. Definitely uncomfortable feeling, awkward.!!!! I would order the allan eat salad bar, which is my favorite part and every time I will go refill my plate they would stare at me. Patty's has a large menu of vegan pizza. I ordered the Ultimate Veggie, and I was happy that it came with a vegan cream sauce instead of a red sauce. It's nice to change things up every now and then. In addition to veggie pizza, they also offer a supreme pizza (my friend ordred) that has the vegan meat on it. It was also good. And we loved their "garlic chips". Patty's used to be pizza bell. When pizza bell gave it to different people, they requested that they do not use their same pizza sauce. Needless to say, the pizza's isn't TOO good. Amazing food. I'll just start off with the service the front desk lady who I'm assuming is Patty was very nice and helpful, the prices weren't too bad realistically the same you'd spend anywhere else but the taste (spoiler alert) tasted amazing. It's regarded as the best pizza I didn't try that just yet but the sandwich I had was bust asf. I'd say give it a go if you're in the area the inside portion of the restaurant is a vibe as well really gives early 2000 vibes which brought me back I'm only 24 but it hit a nice spot of old school but still being modern. Go support them as the rest of the area has tons of closures aka biglots and cvs I believe which is unfortunate but let's keep them alive if we can! :) read more

I have eaten at or ordered from here (I'm including/mainly talking about when it was Pizza Bell) maybe 50+ times in my life and had almost all good experiences. My wife and I stopped by this past Friday. I had the all meat specialty pizza and my wife had the all you can eat salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. There is a lunch special from 11 AM to 2 PM M-F for all you can eat pizza, salad, and breadsticks for $13.99. We definitely will be going back for lunch . Also, my wife was very impressed with how clean the bathrooms were. It illustrates the employees take pride in everything they do. Not only do they have quality food but a very clean establishment. Came here tonight. I have been hearing a lot about this place and wanted to try it. It's a little pricey but the pizza was good. Had a sausage pepperoni. We really enjoyed it.
