    Chicken Sandwich

This place is absolutely amazing! You can never go wrong with stopping by. Food is amazing. Serves is incredible. The staff here is friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a vibe. They will be singing. Joking with the customers. Definitely make you feel like family or the red headed step child.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Either way it's a great time. They might bust out in karaoke. The high notes needs some work but they're definitely improving. You'll get two types of music. You'll get classic rock, alternative upfront and Los Bukis in the kitchen. It's nothing but primo love here. The beer stays the cold. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The door is constantly swinging. Families coming in by the waves.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Makes me feel like I'm back in 2005 with a head full of hair. This is a must stop. Get a pedi from nail laundry and wash it down with a cold beer. Come on into Dukes where they'll make you feel like more than welcomed!

After 12 years in this spot, I finally decided to stop in for a visit. This used to be a Beach Hut Deli and that was the last time I was there. Wanted lunch somewhere new. I wasn't disappointed. Aubrey was very friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is almost like a small bar with food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lots of choices of craft beers and the Huckleberry cider is tasty. I had the Turkey burger. The size is very generous, I couldn't manage to finish. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's three tvs and Aubrey says some come to watch the games, but it isn't a huge place, fyi.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I totally enjoyed my food and my cider which you can get in a half pint size!

Outstanding hot pastrami sandwich and great side salad

We went back to see if the hot pastrami sandwich was as good as I remembered. Oh, yeah. My husband had it, too, and pronounced it to be "amazing!" He also commented on how good the rye bread is (it is great). Excellent beer selection. The staff is very welcoming and the kitchen is fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a comfortable experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of screens to watch sports.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of beer paraphernalia.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We really like this place. You will, too.

A great little place to get a beer and burger. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were plenty of TVs in the bar area to watch the games.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole place is decorated with brewery decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Each restroom was single stall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The patio had multiple different table options with plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The patio is dog friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was nobody else there when we went so service was quick! Everything was great, prices for food just seemed a little steep at $16 for 3 tacos.

Was in the area for a baseball game and craved a beer and a burger. Went to Yelp and saw this place had good reviews so we gave it a whirl. Glad we did because it was delicious! The Duke Burger was so Good! It was fresh, served hot and flavorful. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich which was just as good. The fries were crispy with a special seasoning that complimented the burger. Beers were refreshing too! I tried the Num Num hazy ipa and it was so good! The service was really great too! I didn't catch the servers name but she was super attentive, friendly and offered a tasting of beers when we weren't sure what to get. I always appreciate servers going out of their way as it makes you feel more comfortable when dining. I would definitely come back again!

I love this place! The food is amazing and has great customer service. I love the Dukes burger! Its always cooked perfectly, juicy and the fries are just delicious. I also love their chicken salad. I highly recommend both! The Service is also great, they come check on you multiple times and are very quick to get you anything you need.

Great place for burgers and beers after work! Their staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere, while a little divey/unsuspecting, it's perfect for a casual outing. There's a great patio out back--make sure to check it out if the weather is nice. Plenty of tables and good for groups. Their fries are perfectly seasoned and crispy, burger generously full, and sandwiches nice and moist. They have a ton of beers on tap and some ciders too. TLDR; solid choice for casual burgers and beer.

There was only a couple of people here and the environment seemed to be very laid back. I was surprised to see all the seating this place have. It's very unique the set up. I ordered a Pilsner and half an order of Fish N Chips with a special request of the chips being well done. I was surprised how good the chips was. Perfectly season with a nice crunch, and the fish was good as well. The beer on the other hand didn't taste good. I probably just got a beer I'm not interested in. I typically like pilsners and was surprised how light this beer tasted. Overall service was good and food. I would recommend coming here if you want an authentic English experience.

I can rely on Guinness on tap, or a nice selection of other European beers on tap if I'm not fancying a Guinness. The last time I was in was on St. Patrick's this week, and their food offerings were three meat eater choices. I had my heart set on one of the vegetarian pasties they used to have, but I knew it was a holiday so what was available was going to not be the regular thing. I don't come often enough to even know what's regular anymore. I don't eat meat, but I did have my Guinness so no harm done. I really like the choices of seating, between tables and chairs, the bar, booths, stools, benches, and outdoors. It can get pretty busy, but never so much that I've ever felt boxed in. There's a bit of a bottleneck to get a drink as the path to get past the bar is narrow, but staff are really great at working through those requests quickly. So, basically this is my go to if someone suggests a pub atmosphere. Every day. Ok not every day, but I had to throw that in ;-) They don't have a full bar, only wine and beer. Parking is typical East Sac, street parking, no meters. Bathrooms have character.

The location is super convenient since it's within walking distance of the movie theater. We decided to skip the games this visit. Nothing really caught our attention, but maybe next time we'll give them a try. Instead, we grabbed a couple of seats at the bar and started with some shots. I ordered the Mexican Candy shot, and my girl got a Green Tea shot. My Mexican Candy shot was really good, it had a great balance of alcohol and flavor. It had just the right amount of sweetness and sourness without being overpowering. For food, I ordered the Beef Barbacoa Quesadilla, which came with pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream. My girl ordered the pork sliders along with a margarita, while I switched to a lemonade after my shot. The barbacoa quesadilla was excellent. The meat and cheese ratio was perfect, and everything tasted fresh. The pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream all complemented the quesadilla really well. I honestly had no complaints about my meal. The only hiccup during our visit was with my girl's pork sliders. The pork arrived cold, so we let the bartender know. At first, she thought the meat might have felt cold because of the coleslaw on the sliders, but after a brief conversation, she happily took them back and had a fresh order made. The replacement sliders came out with warm pork, and they were much better. Even the first batch tasted good, the only issue was that the meat wasn't warm enough. We appreciated that they made it right without any problems. One thing I thought was really interesting was their drink system. Every cocktail on the menu is served from a numbered tap. I've never seen that before, but I'm guessing it helps with portion control, reduces waste, and ensures every drink is made consistently. I thought it was a unique concept and a nice touch. One thing I also appreciated was the service. When it was time to pay for our meal, the bartender asked if I wanted a refill on my lemonade. I told her we were about to head to the movie theater, so I didn't need one. Then he offered to put my lemonade in a to-go cup so I could take it with me. I thought that was a really thoughtful gesture and a nice example of great customer service. Overall, we had a good experience. The food and drinks were both enjoyable, and the staff corrected the only issue we had with the sliders. I wouldn't hesitate to come back, and next time we'll probably give the games a chance. If you're looking for a place to grab some good food and drinks before a movie, Tipsy Putt is definitely worth checking out.

The fries were actually pretty good, an above average standard French fry with salt. The burger however was phenomenal. There was an amazing crust on the outside reminiscent of a backyard bbq. There was ample bacon, lettuce, cheese and sauce to make it a balanced bite. The bun was high end brioche style, they really went all out on quality of ingredients. Same window for beer and food. If you order food you're given a number that people deliver food. Came here for happy hour. I got myself a pretzel with add-on cheese, a pulled pork (seasonal) Belgie with fries, and I sampled other food that my friends ordered. Firstly, the 1L beer is worth it. Not happy hour prices., but well worth the volume. It definitely transported me back to my visit to Munich and the beer halls. Oh, I do miss the drunken singing of the Germans lol Secondly, the food was just okay. Pretzels were thankfully cheaper since it was happy hour but i paid $1 for the add-on cheese. The mustard combo sauce was great. I wish the pretzel was a bit bigger. I appreciated the warmth and the salt ratio; not overpowering. The Belgie (waffle sandwich) was also on happy hour. The texture of the waffle was great. Crisp exterior, soft interior. I ordered the seasonal pulled pork which was great in texture and decently portioned. It is a thick boy, so biting into it was a bit of a challenge. Ended up deconstructing the sandwich and used utensils. Sauce maybe would've been better on the side. Fries always win. No complaints though I wish I ordered the garlic fries... the smell was good. One thing I didn't get to try was their famous, Starbust drink which is a mix of beer, cider and some frosty, maybe. The color was intriguing and everyone seemed to order it around me. The misters were on, which was a blessing and a curse.
