SUPPORT FAMILY OWNED LOCAL BUSINESSES!! This is a slapper. Our new go to burger spot that accommodates vegans. The owner super cool AF, he even put on the basketball game for us without us even asking. He saw we were watching from our phone and he turned it on in his line of sight. His crew attentive and walked around to check on all the tables. The quality, portion of what we ordered top tier. I ordered a vegan burger, he the cheese cheese burger and we shared fries. Fries perfectly crispy, brioche buttery, cheese pull locked in. Kind of burger where eating isn't meant to be pretty. Insert get in my belly emoji here. What stands out most is the service second is the food. Parking in the mall parking lot, touch pay.

I really like this spot. Never been here, always heard of it. Was able to try them out finally got lunch with some friends. I had the bacon blue burger. Beef patty cooked perfectly with bacon, blue cheese, spring mix, onions and tomatoes. I really enjoyed it. I also ordered a side of garlic tots. That was delicious too. My husband ordered their carne asada burger which was massive. I tried a small bite and thought it was pretty good. I would definitely come back.

UPDATED REVIEW! My husband and I have been visiting Flaming Grill since they opened at their very first location. We always visit when our friends are in town because they love Flaming Grill too. We visited on Saturday for lunch to fuel up before my birthday celebration! It had been a while since we visited, but it always tastes consistently the same which is a great thing! Odin always takes care of us and makes us feel welcomed! On this last visit, we ordered the Bacon Blue Burger and Carne Asada Fries to share and they were so good! My daughter loved her Mozzarella Sticks with Fries that she ordered as well. Ambiance is always warm and inviting with lots of seating inside and a patio area as well. The bathrooms are always clean too! If you've never been, I highly suggest checking them out. One of the best burgers you can find in Sacramento! We'll be back soon!

I first discovered this place when it was at their old location and I remember it being good... well fast forward a million years later... we returned. 11/10 would recommend. I called, and the lady who answered was so kind. I placed my wife's order, then I asked for her recommendation. Without hesitation she said pastrami burger. I've never had pastrami so I was super excited. We did get this order to go. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted. We loved the plants outside the door and how nice and comfy the inside was. The food was amazing. Even to go. We got the pastrami burger and the carne asada burger. The garlic fries and regular fries are top tier.

This was my first time coming to this place with a peer and it was so amazing! The owner Odin was our server, and he was a delight, attentive and recommend me to try their buffalo meat. IT WAS AMAZING! The food was impeccable, the ambiance was so cute and had a great environment. I most definitely recommend everyone to come support this small business and give Odin the love of this restaurant.

Our table today.. The cheesy cheesy burger, tater tots, green salad, sweet potatoe fries and the Jalapeno Burger.. Coke Zero and Lemon too..

My sister and I always come in for a Burger after we have a pedicure at Fantasy Beauty Spa which is a couple doors down from Flaming Grill .. it never disappoints! The food is delicious and the service is outstanding..Give it a try.. They also have exotic meats--Alligator, Wild Boar, etc.. I stick to the regular meats or chicken...

The country club mall might be past its prime but Flaming Grill Cafe has gotta be one of the reasons why it hasn't fully shut down. This weekend we were craving a good burger and always walk past here whenever we're in the area to watch a movie. I've seen a couple reviews in the past and saw that many claimed this was one of the best burger spots in Sacramento. Spoiler alert: they are We walked in and were seated quite fast as it wasn't busy. The service overall is pretty good with the employees all seeming pretty chill. The restaurant itself is pretty clean and does offer "outdoor seating" (just outside the restaurant, which is indoors) The burger itself is really good and overall fairly priced for the size and flavor. I really like how it's well seasoned and juicy all throughout with the cooking temp exactly how we asked for it. Both the mushroom Swiss burger and bacon avocado burgers are really good. The burgers don't come with fries but for just 5$ or less more you can get some specialty fries. We opted for the asada fries and they don't disappoint. This spot is pretty hidden and honestly such a hole in the wall gem. Flaming Grill Cafe is a must try if you're into GOOD BURGERS

With great service and ample parking, this is a must stop for burger lovers. A great variety of hamburgers and choices of different type of meat for the burgers self. I had a chorizo burger tonight. Fresh avocado, and sour cream, were perfect complement to the combination of chorizo and the beef patty. This is a definite place to return to.

First time here, we drove from Galt to see if this place lived up to its reputation and it did! (It is inside country club plaza, we parked near planet fitness entrance area). We came in with a party of 10 and were immediately greeted and seated in a private area all to our selves. Being a Wednesday it was not too crowded. Our server who I later found out was the owner, was awesome! He answered all our questions, gave recommendations and customized my burger. All our food came out timely ,fresh and hot! My IPA was served in a chilled glass and deliciously cold. I got the peanut butter and jelly burger with bacon and fried jalapeños, and tots. Juicy and delicious. Bring on the napkins! Our party also got the smokehouse, bacon avocado brisket burger, black and blue angus burger , carne asada burger, pastrami burger, regular fries, sweet potato fries, carne asada fries and kids got chicken nuggets. Everyone loved their choice, not easy for a party of 10! Definitely will be going back and worth the hour drive. Thank you to the owner again for making our birthday dinner a success!

Had a Sunday lunch with some of my boys from the Chatty House (ESPN 1320's YouTube channel). Located in what used to be a mall, Flaming Grill's location is a little confusing but I found it without incident. There were 5 of us total and the restaurant got us in and seated quickly. They even accommodated us to a bigger table which was nice. The server was on his A game. Getting our drink orders, he could tell we were thirsty. The drink list was aplenty here. From IPA's to ciders there's something for everyone. They serve exotic meats here such as elk, venison, gator, and wagyu. Although none of us were brave enough to try them it's nice to have options! Went with the smoke house cheeseburger which comes piled high with bbq sauce and string onions. Fries were bomb and burgers on point here, would highly recommend giving this spot a shot. Our server was from Guadalajara and even joked about what the night life is notorious for with one of our more colorful guys in the group lol.

1st time here. Staff was nice but server needs some more training. We ordered Gatorade bites, mozzarella sticks, wings and 3 hamburgers and an order of garlic fries since the hamburgers do NOT come with fries. My son liked his regular burger. My husband ordered a Swiss burger and said he didn't like it. I ordered a chorizo burger. Garlic fries were greasy and had very little garlic flavor. Gator bites were way to chewy...last piece I bit looked raw! Sauce was good tho. I can't vouch for anyone but my own burger. Burgers are big, my burger had no flavor.... I salted it but it made no difference. Bit the jalapeño, still no flavor. The chorizo didn't taste like chorizo and I couldn't even tell there was an egg in it. The sour cream over powered everything in it. I didn't eat it all as it started to make my stomach not feel well. We tried it.... we weren't fans and probably won't be back.

Decided to give them another shot after having a disappointing experience 4 years ago. Things seemed better overall today. It was pretty dead inside so I was able to be seated immediately at the bar. I enjoyed a $5 blonde ale along with half orders of chicken adobada fries and carne asada fries for $6 each. Their adobada fries are still some of my favorite fries that I haven't been able to enjoy as much due to this location being much further from me than their Elk Grove location that closed during COVID. I've always enjoyed their food but found their service to be very hit or miss in the past. I wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area although I'm not sure how much time they have left since the bartender was telling me something about them trying to stick around so IDK if that's a warning sign that they might eventually close down permanently. I hope not.

This case, we only sat and enjoyed the music and tried, but failed to win tickets. Ambiance is fantastic, if you like Rock and Roll , there is plenty of great music related decor, and Rock music usually playing. Service was excellent, even given the large crowd. There is a wide variety of bar food, and various beers on tap and mixed drink options. (Normally there is a happy hour but the special event nulled it) We shared some pretzel bites with pub cheese dip(excellent), chicken nachos (decent) and Jalapeno poppers (also decent). Later we ordered and shared a combo pizza, very good and flavorful , but smaller compared to other bar pizzas I have had. For drink, I enjoyed several nice Mango Cart drafts. After enjoying glasses of chardonnay at nearby Luna Lounge (please reference my review if…read moreinterested), my wife and I headed to The Blind Pig to enjoy a few cocktails. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly bartender by the name of Ronny. Our first round consisted of two dirty martinis (my new drink of choice), which Ronny put his fist (that's a good thing) into making. One of the things that I love about dive bars is the various demographics that usually frequent them (along with their interesting conversations). For our second round we ordered a "Manmosa (yes I know that sounds ridiculously machismo in 2024)" that Ronny insisted on putting a fruity spin on. Not only were we thankful for his suggestion, but his version was GOOD! In real dive bar-like fashion, Ronny provided us both with an extra cup to house the remainder of the Manmosa that could not fit into our glasses (another dive bar perk). As we sat at the bar, my wife and chatted while lightly watching the movie Step Brothers on one of the televisions. Although it was a fairly slow Saturday afternoon, I can imagine that this place gets pretty lively in the latter part of the night though. We observed lots of seating, games, and an area for karaoke (toasted karaoke is the best!). I highly recommend The Blind Pig if you're looking to have deliciously strong drinks at a price that won't have you waking up the next morning rethinking the decisions that you made the previous night!
