This bar is about what I expected it to be for being in a little strip mall. Not gonna knock your socks off, not terrible. The bartender was friendly enough to us, and the drinks were ok. I would classify this as a dive bar, but it was clean with decent bathrooms and new-ish decor and seating. Big TVs to watch the games. read more

The location is a little strange being off of a busy street near a shopping center. Not the most ideal location but could be considered a dive bar to the local apartments nearby. They are crazy busy on Friday nights. The ambiance is poppin and it's nothing but good vibes. The bartenders do their best to serve such a full bar and are very nice. I would say their prices are average with other bars/clubs in the area. You will most likely be walking out of here for around $25 or under for 2 people if you want a good buzz. Their pour is pretty heavy so be ready. They also have those nice big ice cubes for specialty drinks. Bottom Line/TLDR: good vibes read more

People are friendly. Parking is available in the private lot. Came here for the Kentucky derby celebration. They had mini Julio's and a alcohol sponsored drink as well. We sat outside as inside was pretty quaint. They have picnic tables and shade outside. read more

Fun smaller venue. You have to take the elevator up to the rooftop bar, but it's got large cooling units to help with the heat. We had a good time and a good selection of drinks. read more

I went to visit this bar last night. It was extremely crowded and I had a hard time getting served by the bartender to be honest. Now I'm not a heavy drinker so I diddn't have too much. I actually set myself at a 1-2 drink limit and pace myself through the night. Then it's water for the rest of the night. I was having a hard time getting served at the bar and had to wait about 15 min for a glass of water. Being a former bartender and a former server, I actually know that it is hard when your short staffed and have a lot of people. I reached over the counter, picked up the hose, poured my own water and walked away. I also picked the sanitizer towel up and wiped the nozzle off as a curtesy for the bartender before I put everything back exactly where it was. I figured it was just water and no harm was done. I walked over to the other side of the bar and was talking to one of the girls at the bar. I had told her that it was so busy that I had to pour my own water and they must be backed up tonight. This was about 5 minutes after I had poured the water. The male bartender overheard me saying this, accused me of being behind the bar which I wasn't and told me that I had to leave and that I was banned for life. Maybe if I wouldn't have had to wait 15 min for a glass of water then I wouldn't have felt the need to politely pour my own. My recommendation to the owners is to staff your bar better! That was Redicilous I'm also pretty sure the bartender helped herself to a healthy tip. I ordered two cranberry vodkas. Because I was so rudely kicked out, I did not get a chance to close my tab or tip at all. This came out to 18.5. I diddn't specifically which type of vodka which usually means rail vodka. The bartender said Tito's, I told her to just use rail. I don't see how two rail vodkas and cranberry juice can amount to $18.50 but ok. Thanks for tipping yourself for the poor service I was provided. read more

This is a nice place to grab a drink after work. Friendly staff and decent drinks. No food service or options and okay crowd. Indoor seating is awkward and not enough outside seating. A couple people seemed to be regular patrons and didn't have a problem free loading off paying customers. Overall I would only stop for one drink read more

My friends and I were victimized by the owner harassing us. My friends and I were having a girls night and he continued to try and interrupt our conversations. He then brought us shots and we had just finished having 2 so we took it easy and only drank a little from the shots he brought us. He then was upset we were ignoring him because my friends and I were having our own conversations, he takes the shots he got us off the table and gives them to other people are we had already put our mouths on it. Do not go to this bar and for this business owner DO BETTER. read more

Visiting from out of town, and I ask a few people around what would be a fun local bar. I showed up at this bar and I had a really great time. Thanks to Emily the bartender, she made me my favorite martinis and margaritas with so much care and her banter and communication about the local area suggesting other places to visit. I told her I was really into karaoke and she suggested another place's this place Very classy very clean very neat I would highly recommend it if you're in the area Mike read more

Easily my favorite bar. Bartenders are awesome, mostly very attractive females, but there is a male hottie on Saturday nights. Bartenders remember your drink and security is always watching out for me (I often go alone). I've met several amazing chicks here, and after every visit I've left with new friends. It's a small but classy place with couches by the fireplace and private booth seating. Their patio with heaters is decent sized, and enclosed so you are able to drink while you smoke. If you get there early, you can watch the evolution of patrons. By 10/11:00, the crowd has gotten much younger and diverse. Not ghetto by any means, but not 21yr old preppy/hipster folk. The bartenders have authority over the juke box, ensuring no hour long bouts of shitty music. Feel free to dress up or dress down, it's appropriate for any attire. And keno is available to be played whenever you fancy. Purse hooks are available under the bar. My previous usual spots were either local dives bars, or downtown spots like Shady Lady and Snug. Once I started coming here I never went to my old spots again!! The new owners have plans to expand and remodel again, so expect it to only get bigger and better! read more

The Alibi Bar - One is the sexy bartenders - Bars Near Me - Sacramento, California

last night was the second time my buddy and I went to this bar. It was very strange. My buddy orders a drink and the female bartender grabs an ice cube out of his glass before she made the drink and ate the ice cube. The prices kept changing on our drinks. We were getting up charged every next drink. It was my buddies Birthday, so I just let it go. Very strange. First drink was 7 bucks. Ordered him a second drink and it was 12 bucks???? I Don't get it and will not return. I guess they figure, the more you drink the less you will pay attention to what you are being charged. I was not imagining this. Nice way to treat customers! Plenty of other options to have drinks. That kind of dishonesty can ruin a good time. Again, I let it go. read more

It's not diversity friendly. Some of the patrons were shouting obscenities. The bartender was as nice as a bartender that wants a tip.

Love this place!!! Especially late nite when nothing else is open I like to go with my family so we can stay up all night the bartender is super cute and pour my drinks just right. Love you!!!! read more

Very cool neighborhood bar. The staff is great, always get great service. Would be great if they offered some food options.

The old Joshua Pups bar with a new fun crew running it. Great energy, a locals place with a small patio when you need to get out side for some fresh air. Small for now, knocking down the wall and expanding in early '20. Cool place to go daytime or nighttime. read more

This place is normally chill not to much drama but lately I will get random wanna be old guys thinking there 24 ready to fight then get dealt with. poor security and it's also poor because I was also here when there was a misunderstanding and one of the male bartenders who was not working that night decided to pull a knife on my friend not very smart when my friend has a license to carry and had a gun on him he stayed calm and yet your guys off duty bartender continued to come at him with a knife not very smart at all when all my friend was doing was trying to get his gf and the fact I had to keep my friend from putting your bartender on a t shirt cause that's where it was gonna go from him thinking he was a tough guy better have more respect on people u don't no then act hard when everybody knows where u work very very poor communication could have been handled way better read more

So, both times going I was served by a slurring over intoxicated bartender & to be honest it was kinda funny but obviously not professional. Thank you beautiful Raven for the amazing service and wonderful atmosphere. New to Sacramento and will now be regulars!!

I had my first time checking out this bar on a Monday night. Got there at about 9pm. Nice mellow, older crowd. As it got later into the night it got quite busy with the late 20-30s crowd. They had a lot of great seating and a nice outdoor patio. The bartender, Emily, was great! Will absolutely be back again. read more

First and last time in the Alibi Bar. Bartender ignored me - possible because I was not as regular and a senior citizen. Served another person who came in. Bartender is JP - lots of anger and needs training to be a decent bartender. Owner was condescending and believed basically what the bartender said who lied. I would never recommend this place to anyone and will spread that word. read more

First time here just to check out the area. Usually bars and staffs are catered to local regulars. However on this Friday night, when I entered the facility I felt a positive vibe. The bartender JP whom was a lone wolf handling all the patrons and keeping the place tidy for the next, was very welcoming and respectful. He ensured the environment was inclusive and never made me feel black sheeped even when I knew I wasn't a regular. Appreciated the authentic gentleman service you don't ever get nowadays. Thank you JP, will be back kind Sir! read more
