They check your ID as you walk in and we had a reserved table. You can order food and beverages with a QR code at the table or walk up to the bar or kitchen ordering area. They also host food trucks some nights. We ordered and our server was absolutely atrocious. She botched our order and had the audacity to ask if I ordered correctly. I attempted to show her and she walked off. She ended up coming back with even more attitude and I told her she was fired for the night from serving us. She didn't have a care in the world since she was tipped well to do bare minimum work. The manager offered to refund the gratuity; I'm not that type of person, but we're in no rush to go back and it's a place we all enjoy. To add insult to injury she was drinking at the bar and didn't have a care in the world. Not a great look for her or the business. The pizza was pretty good as always. The chicken wings were a bit overcooked but still tasty. They likely would've been even better had they been cooked properly. My little one enjoyed her burger and fries. My wife enjoyed her margaritas and the little ones enjoyed their Shirley Temples. It was a disappointing visit; hopefully next time will be better. I'm a notoriously good tipper and I'm starting to detest tipping ahead on these apps and kiosks as it has lead to mediocrity at so many places. It's gotten to the point where I've started considering carrying cash and not tipping ahead. Hopefully Drake's and their not so smart employee learned their lesson.

One incident happened where they were still setting up some things for the event and I heard a guy (i assumed worked there, based on apparel and the set up he was doing, i could be wrong though) say "come buy some beer, everyone is just here for free stuff cheap asses". I don't think that is very welcoming for individuals who attend this event. Most recently when we went to the Buy nothing event in August, my friend and I went up to the bar to ask if we could try a sample of 2 of the ciders they had. The gentleman was older, maybe 50's wearing a hat gave us the samples. We tried them as he went over to pour my friend her drink that she was PURCHASING. I asked if I could get another sample of another drink, genuinely curious of the flavor profile and trying a sample before I made my decision. This individual gave me such a hard time replying "thats going to be it for that, we aren't going to keep doing this" something along the lines of being upset that I asked for a second sample. I then told him as he went over to the station to just forget it and I wasn't going to be given a hard time. Since it was such a big deal to try another sample. Usually when I go to a tap room the employees talk about their products, the notes, and give me more info and offer a couple of different samples. Here I felt bad just for asking to try a second cider which was their new one for me. Then he came out from the side and try to give me the sample, I let him know that it was fine, and I stated I no longer wanted one. His response was " oh so you just want me to throw it out". I let him know I didn't want it before he poured it almost feel guilty for "throwing it out". I stated that he was giving me a hard time, instead of just clarifying what he meant, a simply "sorry about that" he just turned around and went off with his day. When we come here we buy multiple drinks at this event. But the employees that I have personally seen have made it a not so great experience.

I got a hazy, I forgot the name. It had the hoppiness and citrus flavor that was looking for. The rest of my group bloggers and a kolsch. I texted a friend who lives in Sac about this place and it turns out they are regulars there and go to many of their events.

im not big on writing reviews but has to be done. first im a boxer so i dont get intimidated easy. but this place scares even me. 2 weeks into the new year of 2015 i get some work on this side of town. went on a friday night. 2 fights in the parking lot. many brewing inside. people were so drunk they couldnt stand. bartender even picked one girls head off the counter to ask if she was thirsty. ladies beware. shady place. guys its a jail sentence waiting to happen. then pulled out from the bar. only way out is west capital ave. cop follows me for about a mile. lucky i only had 2 but you just never know anymore. karaoke was a bust. guy walkin around beggin people to sing on a crappy system. oh no. i would recommend staying as far away as you can. read more

There seemed to be a lot of regulars who clearly have karaoke night circled on their calendars. I didn't sing, but my friend got up and did a Quiet Riot song... which felt appropriate considering we're all straight out of the '90s ourselves. There's also a lot more seating now -- tall tables and stools instead of the little round tables that looked left over from the 1970s. I don't know when I'll be back, but if another occasion comes up where old friends are getting together and this is the chosen spot, I'm definitely in.
