This place has been here forever Ive been here in the past this was my first time coming back in years. Came here with some friends we ordered drinks 17.50 for two beers which i thought wasn't bad for the area. This place is the same as I remember it nice and still welcoming good mood lighting unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible. Mike is an amazing bartender he was fast with our drinks love him. On my second visit!!! Erin the lady running the karaoke was crazy i asked her how far was i in the que and she said after 10 more singers. I was ok with that cause i wanted to go outside,so i proceeded to tell her ok good cause i was going outside to get fresh air and i only asked because one of the people i came with was called up to sing. I wasn't trying to be rude or insinuating but she got an attitude and told me i was being rude but i think it was because if you tip you get to sing earlier than most i was confused so i just walked away. I was at the bar talking with my friends and was pushed into really hard I almost knocked over my man and another friend. To my surprise it was the Dj she purposely knocked into me!!! she is lucky i didn't press charges she assaulted me and i am disabled. the only reason i didn't press charges was because of mike he said he will deal with it he even checked the cameras and was very upset that she did that watch out that girl has issues.

karaoke? Lol we early I think

Kiki's is a nice little bar upstairs and has a cool environment with a little stage, a Luce DJ and Karaoke. They have decent selection of beer. No Woodford reserve but they have makers mark which is alright. No food, but you can order food, which we did. I doordash Kiki's chicken and it came in about 15 min. I had a lot of fun. Will definitely be back

Great time and fun crowd! Karaoke is definitely the best here in town. Just use free QR codes to find songs and write them down to request.

My sober friend got kicked out for being "too drunk" before we could order our first round.

Kind of whack that they don't offer free tap water - just plastic bottled water for a fee. It's 2026, who does that?!

A nice dive centric bar tucked off the beaten path. Bar staff is friendly and the drinks are poured generously.

Love the vibe at Pine Cove, it's a dive bar with a heart. Karaoke is always so much fun, even on a Monday.

The karaoke is corrupt. Be ready to bribe the kj if you want to think about singing.

Loe the KJ brings great energy to the place, and the bartenders are all amazing.

Security checked our IDs at the door, and once we walked in, the bar area was packed. Luckily, there were reserved booths nobody was using and my girl, and I sat there since the main bar was crowded. It actually worked out perfect for us. It gave us space to sit, relax, and have a good conversation without feeling cramped. We ordered a couple of colorful drinks that were nicely balanced and flavorful, not too overpowering, and easy to enjoy. The music was hip-hop which is right up my alley, so the vibe was definitely on point. What really stood out was the atmosphere. I've never been in a bar quite like this where jellyfish were hanging from the ceiling, and a whole underwater theme. I was told a mermaid appears over the bar at certain times, but sadly, I didn't get to see her this visit. Overall, it was a great spot to end the night after the movie. Good drinks, good music, and a unique sea-themed vibe. If I return, I will hope to see a mermaid

The bar tenders have horrible customer service even when the bar isn't busy. It seems like they rather hang out and chat with regulars and friends than serve paying customers. The security guards we're blatantly discriminating against my friend for no good reason. Also, security apparently accepts bribes at the front door to let people in, so much for safety. The drinks were in my opinion overpriced and didn't taste good. Maybe I'm biased because my whole experience here put a complete sour taste in my mouth. Then, to top it all off my friends and I were being harassed by two patrons who had clearly been overserved the entire time we were there. We had no choice but to leave and we will never be back again! After visiting I wanted to leave a review because I felt other people should steer clear. To my surprise, I read reviews here that mentioned almost the exact experience we had. So, this is not an isolated incident and Dive Bar has not taken our comments into consideration. Disclaimer: I did not have this experience, but it was very disheartening to see all the reviews, tik toks, reels, etc. I found after visiting Dive Bar in which women and men are claiming to have been roofied. This may or may not be true, but it can't be a coincidence this many people have had the same experience. There needs to be an investigation into this bar. I myself will be placing a call to the BBB and I hope that anyone who has had that experience feels empowered to speak to the authorities.

This bar is truly a definition of a dive bar-dark lighting inside, they tend to play throwback music 100% of the time which is awesome-the bartenders here are always super friendly and always seem young-not always the most experienced bartenders you will run into but they always do their job with lots of enthusiasm and friendly demeanors-I think that's important. The drinks themselves are pretty inexpensive per todays Sacramento downtown standards,I think my old fashioned ran for either $10 or $11 which is pretty good and they are always solid-they make very solid get the job done keep the vibe going level drinks and at that price-that's a winning combination. My favorite part of this bar though for me is easy-it's the outside back patio. It features a few long tables and it's mostly frequented by someone either looking to smoke a cigarette or vape,I personally will go back there and light up a cigar and just enjoy the craziness that occurs back there.By craziness I just mean a lot of people socializing-laughing telling stories and getting along,u literally can strike up conversations with people you never met before just based on the fact that you know anybody who finds themselves in the back outside patio at B-Side knows what's up-nobody lands there on accident-it's a super chill spot with a never ending cast of unknowns who might sit next to you and just be prepared as your probably going to have the most random conversation you have ever had in your life. B-Side isn't a fancy bar or a place to go before a nice dinner-this place isn't for everyone, especially at my age,but if u are ever lucky enough to walk thru those doors be prepared to be transported to a time when all you ever wanted was a place you could kick back-have a cheap drink, maybe enjoy a smoke and just chat with people who don't have their noses buried in their ohones-a true throwback.

The bar was playing a movie on the TV. I would recommend for an intimate date night but not for a night out dancing with the girls. There is a small area for outdoor seating out back, but it is also very limited.
