One tip: make a reservation in advance. We were able to skip the long line, which made getting in quick and easy. My party of four was seated on the patio, but honestly, there's really no bad seat in the house. Tom's has TVs everywhere, so you'll have a great view of the game no matter where you're sitting. For food, we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, fries, fried pickles, and I grabbed a beer. Everything was tasty, but the standouts were definitely the fries and fried pickles. The fries came out piping hot, crispy, and fresh, making them surprisingly one of my favorite items of the meal. I will say the prices are on the higher side, but for a big sporting event, I think it's well worth it. The atmosphere was amazing, the crowd made the experience even more fun, and the service was exceptional. Even though the restaurant was absolutely packed, our food came out quickly, and our server checked on us frequently throughout the game. Overall, I'd highly recommend Tom's for your next watch party. Between the atmosphere, plenty of TVs, solid food, and attentive service, it's a great place to catch a big game.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Tom's Bar was extremely disappointing…read more We made reservations well in advance, paid ahead of time, and even arrived more than an hour early. We were third in line for the reservation queue, so we expected that arriving early would help us get decent seating. Instead, we were assigned seats on the open patio directly in the blazing sun. The patio umbrellas weren't working, making the seating area unbearably hot on a warm afternoon. We politely asked if we could be moved to another table, but the staff was unwilling to accommodate us. When general admission opened, we even offered to give up our reserved seats and move into the general admission section instead. Despite there being an opportunity to make that happen, our request was again denied. After only 15-20 minutes, we had no choice but to leave because the conditions were simply unbearable. Paying in advance, arriving early, and still receiving the worst seats--with no willingness to help find a reasonable solution--made for a very frustrating experience. Customer service is about solving problems when they arise. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here, and it left us with a very poor impression of Tom's Bar. We missed a good part of the World Cup Finals which was the main purpose of going there. Costed us in fee and parking and lots of unnecessary anxiety!

Everything was delicious and great portions minus the carnitas was just a tad dry but overall was yummy and go perfectly with a glass of beer. They have a large variety to choose from. Wish it was a full bar though so no liquor but bartender did say they can make some classic drink like margarita and Mexican candy shooters? For a Friday night although it was closer to midnight when we arrive I was hoping it would be more lively but I still had a decent time.

The location is super convenient since it's within walking distance of the movie theater. We decided to skip the games this visit. Nothing really caught our attention, but maybe next time we'll give them a try. Instead, we grabbed a couple of seats at the bar and started with some shots. I ordered the Mexican Candy shot, and my girl got a Green Tea shot. My Mexican Candy shot was really good, it had a great balance of alcohol and flavor. It had just the right amount of sweetness and sourness without being overpowering. For food, I ordered the Beef Barbacoa Quesadilla, which came with pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream. My girl ordered the pork sliders along with a margarita, while I switched to a lemonade after my shot. The barbacoa quesadilla was excellent. The meat and cheese ratio was perfect, and everything tasted fresh. The pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream all complemented the quesadilla really well. I honestly had no complaints about my meal. The only hiccup during our visit was with my girl's pork sliders. The pork arrived cold, so we let the bartender know. At first, she thought the meat might have felt cold because of the coleslaw on the sliders, but after a brief conversation, she happily took them back and had a fresh order made. The replacement sliders came out with warm pork, and they were much better. Even the first batch tasted good, the only issue was that the meat wasn't warm enough. We appreciated that they made it right without any problems. One thing I thought was really interesting was their drink system. Every cocktail on the menu is served from a numbered tap. I've never seen that before, but I'm guessing it helps with portion control, reduces waste, and ensures every drink is made consistently. I thought it was a unique concept and a nice touch. One thing I also appreciated was the service. When it was time to pay for our meal, the bartender asked if I wanted a refill on my lemonade. I told her we were about to head to the movie theater, so I didn't need one. Then he offered to put my lemonade in a to-go cup so I could take it with me. I thought that was a really thoughtful gesture and a nice example of great customer service. Overall, we had a good experience. The food and drinks were both enjoyable, and the staff corrected the only issue we had with the sliders. I wouldn't hesitate to come back, and next time we'll probably give the games a chance. If you're looking for a place to grab some good food and drinks before a movie, Tipsy Putt is definitely worth checking out.

Every Thursday after I get off work on K Street, everyone makes us feel genuinely welcome. Elijah, Georgio, Ryan, and Asra are all amazing. They remember our usual orders, take the time to have real conversations with us, and always make us feel like valued regulars instead of just another table. I also want to give a special shoutout to the gentleman working security on Thursday nights. Every single time I come in, he greets me with a smile and says "welcome back."
