This was my first visit to Stingers. It took place on a Friday, at about lunchtime. I ordered a chicken sandwich and a beer. In terms of service, I'll say it was "acceptable under the circumstances". I won't speculate if it was a scheduling issue or a worker availability issue, but there was only one person to take care of the bar and all of the tables in the restaurant. They tried their best. The sandwich wasn't too fancy, but it was constructed well and tasted good. I don't think Stingers is a destination, in itself. I suspect it's just a nice neighborhood bar and grill which caters to a regular cast of characters. In general, it is neat and clean. It has the typical features: large screen TVs, neon signs, pool tables--and a shuffleboard table. And if you wanted something to eat while watching sports, the food is better than just okay.

Food is always consistent. Haven't had anything I didn't like. Only downside is sometimes the parking lot gets packed.

I continue to love my experience at Stringers. Great food options, I find myself enjoying the people very visit, especially the owners and staff. It really is welcoming to everyone. The many TVs is great for people that like many sports or shows.

We were unable to sit at a table because they were all reserved, and a couple of the employees we encountered were not particularly friendly, so we ended up sitting at the bar. Our drink orders were taken and brought out, and we ordered a couple of appetizers. However, when it came time to order our entrees, my first choice was unavailable. My significant other was able to order what he wanted, and his food arrived fairly quickly. Unfortunately, I waited over 20 minutes for my meal, with no apology, no check-in from the staff, and very little acknowledgment that there was even an issue. What made the situation more frustrating was that the restaurant was not particularly busy, so the delay seemed unnecessary. When we finally brought it to their attention, the response was unapologetic, and the staff was not particularly polite or accommodating. Good customer service is about more than taking orders and bringing out food. It is also about communicating with customers, acknowledging delays, and showing basic courtesy when something goes wrong. We felt like we were simply left hanging, and the lack of concern made an already disappointing experience even worse. Overall, the service was extremely mediocre, and we left disappointed. I honestly don't know if I would return to this location. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because customers deserve better than to be left waiting without an explanation or even a simple apology.

Fantastic Spot To "Pregame" Shows @ Goldfields Next Door…read more SITREP We descended upon the Tack Room an hour before our show for "Ally The Piper" (both the classical AND heavy metal bagpiper extraordinaire) began her show! THE SETUP Goldfields is a charming, rustic country-western stylized saloon that serves up beer at good prices. But we weren't interested in beer and wanted quality cocktails. Hence, our pivot next door to the Tack Room! QUALITY COCKTAILS & DRINKS! The Tack Room specializes an amazing array of martinis, bourbons, and other deLISH cocktail drinks at really really reasonable prices! So this was an excellent choice to chill, thus avoiding the tremendous *noise pollution* we were immediately subjected to upon entering Goldfields an hour later for our show. THE LOWDOWN This is a quality bar with plenty of comfortable seating to relax and have quiet, intimate conversations. So if you and your later friend(s) want some privacy, cocktails at a reasonable price, etc., this is a good way to go.

It's themed around horse racing, but not in an overbearing or... tacky way. The mixologist was delightful and had great recommendations, the lights were dim, and the drinks were all on point. The highlight was the espresso martini, which is among the best I've had. It was reminiscent of the one I had at the Starbucks Roastery in NYC, which is high praise. The other coffee drink that surprised me was the Revolver. I always forget about what a good pairing orange and coffee is, and I'll be taking this one back home with me to try! Every other drink we tried was delicious in some unique way. The Pho drink was savory and surprising, the New York Sour was rich and flavorful, and the Practical Move was refreshing. Will definitely return here after dinner to sip an espresso martini for dessert!

They even had a little area to take your dog if they needed to go potty. This is a very dog friendly area for well-behaved dogs. It's really cool that they have seven different restaurants to choose from. We went to the okey-dokey burgers. They tasted great! But if you don't like onions, I would pass or ask for no onions. I was a little overwhelmed with the amount of onions, but that was me not them. This place had a great selection of beers. The bartender was extremely helpful in helping me choose my beer. I'm hoping this place decides to do a brunch menu someday or get their liquor license then I would be there every day ha ha. I'll definitely be going back.

Finally made it to Garden at the Line with friends on a nice breezy evening…read more I'll share this as an experience as I feel it's important. Firstly, parking was surprisingly difficult, very sparse street parking, and for some reason the parking lot was packed. I'd hoped this meant good things for the businesses. Once I arrived, the place was full of people, birthday parties, families, friends, dogs, all enjoying a nice weather vibe. A DJ was set up playing mostly family friendly tunes, but painfully loud...like uncomfortably loud. As a former DJ, I recognize the importance of reading the scene, this DJ obvs had no clue, but instead felt it necessary to punch their sound so guests had no choice in hearing it, and very little chance at having a conversation. Not cool at all. We even tried moving tables to actually hear each other, no luck. And for this alone, I'd second thought returning again, at least on a weekend. Second, the ordering system. I get the business model, scan the QR code to see a menu from a website. But the problem with theirs is, ordering for "Garden" as opposed to take out or delivery are two separate entities apparently. This is a UI/UX thing and they really should have analysis done here. So far, it's a nice evening, good vibe, some screaming children, happy parents because they can drink while their kids scream and dogs bark, and a DJ playing music at extremely unnecessary levels. It literally took us half an hour navigating the menus on our phones before we ordered. The beverage selection was good, and they offered samples, and the staff was pleasant. The food was brought out by a runner, I ordered a quesobirria taco that was very tasty, a custom pizza that also was quite good, and a Tuscan salad that unfortunately was swimming in dressing. Another in our party described their salad as the same. Overall, the concept is great, but again, the ordering mechanism could use some work, the ambiance with included DJ could also use some work. Ain't nobody dancing, people came to socialize and eat. Work out those two things and maybe keep the salad dressing on the side and you'll have a place people might return to.

We kicked off the evening with Jameson shots before diving into the menu. Our group ordered a mix of the corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, while I opted for the corned beef tacos. Every dish was excellent, the corned beef is incredibly tender and literally melts in your mouth. If you want to try it but aren't up for a heavy sandwich and fries, the tacos are a fantastic, flavor-packed alternative that I will definitely order again. The drink selection was equally impressive; the beers were great, and the Irish Mule was delicious. Emma provided outstanding service throughout the night. She was attentive, kept our drinks refilled, and offered excellent menu recommendations. This has quickly become one of our favorite spots, and we will definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
