A fun time during the activity but the organizational aspects of the restaurant can use some work. Granted, they had a large party so I totally get that chaos. However, it was 20 minutes after we were seated for our reservation that we finally were greeted by a server (and only after asking the host who would be serving us). Once we were assigned a server, all was good. That said, I am disappointed that it was reported to Open Table that we "missed" our reservation. We have been there 5 times since they opened. We have enjoyed playing Bocci and Ax throwing. Outside of Bocci and Ax throwing, our first visits were not very good, terrible service and just ok bar food. What we were most pleased during our last visit is the service is getting much better. The first time we were there, we waited 45 minutes before a server came to our table. It wasn't much better the second or third time either. I was hesitant to try it again but we had a great time during our last visit due to our waitress (Halley) who was extremely attentive and engaging, and the menu had better selections as well. This is my first visit since the owners of Sauced opened the restaurant in the old Campo de Bocce place. My review is a mixed one - food was good but prices were very high. Da Boccery is presented as an upscale sports bar with plenty of activities and TV screens all around. My wife and I both had sandwiches - hers a turkey combo and mine pastrami. Both were very good, particularly the pastrami. However, around $20 for each (including a small side) was way overpriced for a sports bar-type place. We shared a banana split for dessert - also good, but $12.95...really? Plenty of other good looking menu items, but I can't see returning unless the restaurant drops it's prices - plenty of other sports bars/restaurants in the Livermore area with much more reasonable prices. We came by this weekend to celebrate my Grandma's 81st birthday. We sat in the bar area because they had the OU football game on and we were excited they were playing it. Christine served us and she made us feel welcomed! She recommended great food options which we all really enjoyed! Just a tip for all those planning to make a Bocci reservation. Always make a reservation with the minimum number of people for the base charge, which is eight people. We made the mistake of giving them the real number of people we expected, which was close to the max of 16 per court. They will charge you for whatever you made the reservation for, regardless of how many showed up. Went to this place for the first time and I wasn't Impress with the food. The appetizers where basic, we had Chicharrónes and a pretzel. The chicharrones taste like they where out of a bag from a gas station lol dinner was over priced for what it is. Dry pasta and hard pizza crust that taste like frozen pizza. The food tasted good but it was extremely overpriced for the portions. I ordered the steak sandwich and there was one piece of thinly sliced steak. The plate was a majority of french fries. We came here on a Sunday afternoon for my wife's birthday to play bocce with our teenage and adult kids. I thought it was a little pricey to reserve a bocce court at $100/hr, but it seemed worth it for the occasion. The bocce was fun, but the service was terrible. The place was practically empty, and there were at least 8 or more staff just standing around talking, not doing anything. However, it took almost 30 minutes and me going up to the manager for a server to finally come over and take our drink and food orders. The food was fine but really pricey. It seemed like a small step up from a bowling alley, but they charge $20+ for a burger and fries. The most attentive the staff was to remind us when our time was almost up and then promptly kick us off the court the minute our hour was over. We had to move all our food and drinks to another table because we received it so late into our hour of play. I fully understand we only had the court for an hour, but after we moved there was no one else or no other party that came in after. But we weren't even offered the opportunity to extend our time. I guess I can see the appeal for corporate team outings with bigger budgets to reserve for hours for a larger group. But if you're looking for some reasonably priced family fun, look elsewhere. read more

The music inside is so loud you can't hear the person next to you. Entirely unnecessary. The menu is blah and the food mediocre. Party of 7 ranging from age 13 to 80. We will not be back. The food was so much better before it changed owners and the noise level was not an issue for our group when this was CampOD'Bocci. Great concept, needs better execution. There could have been a bit more instruction in the axe throwing, they were there but not very good at giving suggestions to make you better. Went with a couple friends. The atmosphere was fun and we enjoyed the games we played. (Bocci, footpool, and cornhole). It was a nice place to watch a playoff game on the multiple TVs around the place. I had the bulgogi tacos and the wagyu slider. All of it was great! Arrived 15 minutes early as instructed with my party of 5. We were asked to wait and then seated after our axe throwing reservation time. Getting the release forms to load on our phones took forever cutting even more time out of our reservation. The carpets had stains and there was food on the floor around our table that had not been cleaned up. The girl that was assigned to instruct us never left the cage and stood there watching videos on her phone the majority of the time which was so unprofessional. Our target had huge chunks out of the center of the target making the axe unable to land in that area. The scoreboard is a chalkboard and there was only one tiny piece of chalk and only one eraser that the group on the other side had to keep coming to get. The food we ordered was just okay and that and the cocktails took forever to order and forever to get. I was very disappointed and thought it would be much prettier than Limitless Axes and Ales in Pleasanton but it looks terrible in there as if it was done in the 80s. I contacted Da Boccery online to set up a party and was extremely pleased with the entire process. Working with Courtney and Vanessa to select the right package, food and games was extremely easy as they were professional and personable. They were very efficient in setting up the entire party and when we arrived for the event we were extremely satisfied with the results. Our server was equally outstanding and went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. The wings, calamari, salads, pizza and desserts were all fantastic. We made a reservation for Saturday, 3/26 at 9:15pm for my son's 20th birthday for a party of 6. We arrived at 8:30 (early in case we needed to fill out paperwork or anything) and were told to wait in the bar till 9:10. We did and then went back to the front (the girls working were very petty, maybe they recognized my kids or something but regardless should have remained professional as we were paying customers). One asked the other to kick the people that were in the axe throwing out because their time was up. So we waited patiently, mind you our time began at 9:15 even though we were in the front. We finally got to the indoor lanes at 9:25 and were then told to fill out waivers and we all needed to do our own. Mind you, this is part of your 1 hour and 15 minutes still. Time doesn't begin when you get inside. 20 minutes later, we finally got into the axe throwing area. We had someone coaching us the whole time, mind you, we weren't rookies and this wasn't our first time throwing. He was very addicted to looking at the time. Never did anyone come over to see if we wanted anything to drink or eat. Mind you, we had a water from the bar previously that spilled and never once did someone come over. My son went to the bar to ask if he could get a towel to clean it up. Someone did come and removed the glass of water and that was the extent of customer service we received for drinks/food. 15 minutes left and we were informed that we could change the background to zombies/bears or others. We were very disappointed for the a $220 we spent to only throw for 40 minutes and quickly get told our time was up. Would be nice if things were more organized and professional. Maybe fill out the paperwork before the time begins, maybe since we paid for the lane and were supposed to have a dedicated person taking our drink/food orders, actually have that occur and not be so quick to rush us out the front door. We definitely will not be coming back. Huge disappointment for us all. read more

My friends and I decided to check out this place and see what it was about. We were very happy with the friendly server and good service all around. The food was also very good with great options. It may be on the high side but at least you get your moneys worth. It has plenty of room for a gathering of friends/co workers and plenty of things to do, free or to rent. We were there at lunch and it was quiet but I can see where it could get a little loud when its busy as some yelp reviews have mentioned. I would suggest going early if you want a more quiet atmosphere but if your ok with noisy and people having a good time then it wouldn't matter. The axe throwing was so much fun! Thanks to Colin who provided instruction with some interesting facts and we also found out there's more than one way to throw an axe. Definitely ask for him. Had a fantastic lunch afterwards and this is definitely a place to go to if you want a great meal and a cocktail or beer. Has a pretty extensive menu. The Brie bites with fig jam and pepper jelly were delicious, as was our smoked Turkey Cobb and Chicken Caesar salad.
