Service was excellent! We went for my son's 19th birthday. He did axe throwing, Matthew was the coach and he was awesome, giving my son tricks on how to throw. It was a very good Resturant with great Italian food, such as seafood pasta and pizza. However it is no longer the same, I ordered two dishes today for pick up. The shrimp & grits is ok but fish tacos are not fresh that disappoints me so much. read more

We came here with a large party and we were disappointed with Da Boccery. The most concerning issue with this establishment is that two members of our party got food poisoning and felt very sick. There was also a dead mouse on the bocce court, so overall, the atmosphere did not feel very clean or hygienic. The service was not good. The staff members did not pay attention to us. Though they were nice when they did pay attention to us, very little attention was paid overall. This place felt like a gross chuckie cheese. Would definitely not recommend. read more

Friday we decided to stop here on the way home from Stockton. The last time we had stopped was pre pandemic when it was Campo di Bocci. We had not realized it had changed until we got to restaurant. Of course every thing had changed. We weren't impressed with the menu but still willing to try. I ordered the Fish and Chips. Came out rather quickly. There was an odd taste to it, and I couldn't even finish it, only ate one of the fish. The chips were better, but was still not impressed. About 15 to 20 minutes after leaving the restaurant my stomach began gurgling and within and hour I was throwing up and had bowel problems.. Also there was a weird film on my tongue from the potatoes and took several scrubbing with my toothbrush to remove. Worse case of food poisoning ever. Will not be going back. read more

We went here to celebrate a friend's birthday and it wasn't good. The only reason why I gave this place 2 stars is because the food was alright and because of Dylan, the employee who hosted our party at the axe throwing cages. He was very nice and should be promoted so other employees can follow his example on how to provide excellent customer service. As for the rest of our experience there, we were highly disappointed with Da Boccery because the staff didn't bother to help or serve us for well over 30 minutes although we had reservations. The staff kept passing by our party table and glanced at us, but never came by to serve us. I don't know, maybe because we were a party of minorities and we also had a disabled person in a wheel chair in our party I'm assuming? Because another party of non-minorities arrived and were seated at the tables right next to ours and they were served almost right away. We had to flag their waitress down and asked her why they were being served first when we've been waiting there for well over 30 minutes (and yes we had reservations too) and during that entire time not once did anyone come to check on us. We felt so discriminated against that we will never go back to this establishment again. As someone who has served in the military, I do not tolerate or support racism...therefore, Da Boccery, I will never visit your establishment again and I will be sure to spread the word to every one I know to steer clear of this place to avoid being discriminated against. We loved the axe throwing. My husband and I went and paid for the hour. We got lucky and no one else was axe throwing at the time that we were so we had both lanes side by side. The instructor was friendly and engaged in the whole thing. My husband had a huge grin on his face the whole time. They can also change the images of the target you are hitting. A fun time during the activity but the organizational aspects of the restaurant can use some work. Granted, they had a large party so I totally get that chaos. However, it was 20 minutes after we were seated for our reservation that we finally were greeted by a server (and only after asking the host who would be serving us). Once we were assigned a server, all was good. That said, I am disappointed that it was reported to Open Table that we "missed" our reservation. The extra effort of having to respond to the claim or face a violation of the no-show policy was not appreciated after having been pretty patient overall. read more

This is my first visit since the owners of Sauced opened the restaurant in the old Campo de Bocce place. My review is a mixed one - food was good but prices were very high. Da Boccery is presented as an upscale sports bar with plenty of activities and TV screens all around. My wife and I both had sandwiches - hers a turkey combo and mine pastrami. Both were very good, particularly the pastrami. However, around $20 for each (including a small side) was way overpriced for a sports bar-type place. We shared a banana split for dessert - also good, but $12.95...really? Plenty of other good looking menu items, but I can't see returning unless the restaurant drops it's prices - plenty of other sports bars/restaurants in the Livermore area with much more reasonable prices. We have been there 5 times since they opened. We have enjoyed playing Bocci and Ax throwing. Outside of Bocci and Ax throwing, our first visits were not very good, terrible service and just ok bar food. What we were most pleased during our last visit is the service is getting much better. The first time we were there, we waited 45 minutes before a server came to our table. It wasn't much better the second or third time either. I was hesitant to try it again but we had a great time during our last visit due to our waitress (Halley) who was extremely attentive and engaging, and the menu had better selections as well. Just a tip for all those planning to make a Bocci reservation. Always make a reservation with the minimum number of people for the base charge, which is eight people. We made the mistake of giving them the real number of people we expected, which was close to the max of 16 per court. They will charge you for whatever you made the reservation for, regardless of how many showed up. Went to this place for the first time and I wasn't Impress with the food. The appetizers where basic, we had Chicharrónes and a pretzel. The chicharrones taste like they where out of a bag from a gas station lol dinner was over priced for what it is. Dry pasta and hard pizza crust that taste like frozen pizza. The food tasted good but it was extremely overpriced for the portions. I ordered the steak sandwich and there was one piece of thinly sliced steak. The plate was a majority of french fries. We came here on a Sunday afternoon for my wife's birthday to play bocce with our teenage and adult kids. I thought it was a little pricey to reserve a bocce court at $100/hr, but it seemed worth it for the occasion. The bocce was fun, but the service was terrible. The place was practically empty, and there were at least 8 or more staff just standing around talking, not doing anything. However, it took almost 30 minutes and me going up to the manager for a server to finally come over and take our drink and food orders. The food was fine but really pricey. It seemed like a small step up from a bowling alley, but they charge $20+ for a burger and fries. The most attentive the staff was to remind us when our time was almost up and then promptly kick us off the court the minute our hour was over. We had to move all our food and drinks to another table because we received it so late into our hour of play. I fully understand we only had the court for an hour, but after we moved there was no one else or no other party that came in after. But we weren't even offered the opportunity to extend our time. I guess I can see the appeal for corporate team outings with bigger budgets to reserve for hours for a larger group. But if you're looking for some reasonably priced family fun, look elsewhere. read more

Pricey in both food and drink. The food was good though. My biggest complaint: we brought a cake and plates as we were celebrating an adult birthday. The food was great, our waiter was friendly and polite, and our 'trainer' for ax throwing was very helpful and encouraging - especially given our still level! Went with a couple friends. The atmosphere was fun and we enjoyed the games we played. (Bocci, footpool, and cornhole). It was a nice place to watch a playoff game on the multiple TVs around the place. I had the bulgogi tacos and the wagyu slider. All of it was great!
