When I arrived, I was told I was in the wrong place and directed to walk around the corner. There was no clear signage indicating where DoorDash pickups were supposed to go. The only sign was a small A-frame that was blocked by parked cars, making it nearly impossible to see. Following the directions I was given, I ended up in the back of Mavericks and even wandered into the kitchen, where the cooks looked at me like I was the idiot. I went back to the front, and the waitress walked me to the correct location. As I followed her, I overheard the owner behind the bar say, "There's a goddamn sign," apparently talking about me. He didn't realize I was standing right behind her. When I appeared, his attitude instantly changed, and he apologized by saying, "Sorry, I've been here since 11." 6-7 hours of work, oh no! I'm sorry, but working since 11 isn't an excuse for talking about customers like that. If your pickup process is so confusing that people end up in the kitchen, that's on your business, not your customers. I won't be back. Better signage, a clearer pickup process, and a little respect for customers would go a long way. Do better, Tommy Boy.

The inside and patio are both casual and open, similar to a brewery, and they have a self-serve tap wall, which is awesome. First time using one, and despite the self-service setup and ordering at the counter, the service we did get was great. Wait time for food wasn't long at all. I ordered the Sessions Burger, and it was lowkey one of the best burger's I've had in a while. I love blue cheese on a burger, and the caramelized onions had a deep, rich flavor. I also liked that it wasn't obnoxiously large for no reason. The fries were perfect, and the ranch was excellent. Honestly, ranch is a good way to judge a place like this, and theirs was rich and smooth. Also really enjoyed the beer I chose. Pouring it yourself is a fun experience, I could spend all day trying different beers. Great spot. Would definitely come back if I'm ever in town again. And no, it's not just the post-hike hunger talking, this place is serving seriously good food.

There's self serve beer on tap that you pay per ounce using a card they give you. Looked like a wide selection from IPAs to stouts. They also had a fun cocktail menu and plenty of food options from tacos to burgers. The hostess was really kind to explain to us how their restaurant works in terms of the self serve beer as you pay at that front beforehand. Whereas, food items and cocktail drinks are ordered at the back left corner. We ordered the "Such a Gemini" and "Paper cut". Both were more on the sweeter side and you couldn't taste the alcohol at all. Quite dangerous really. The "Such a Gemini" was a hibiscus agave drink. The "Paper cut" was more of a fruity mix with the elderflower and lemon mixed in the whiskey, which I was a HUGE fan of. Gorgeous presentation as well! As for the food, we got the Sessions burger (cheeseburger) and cod tacos both with truffle fries. And maaan. Cod tacos were cooked well and super fresh. Big fan of that red salsa on the side. The Sessions burger was juicy and not dry, but I really enjoyed how it served on a pillowy pretzel bun! Would love to bring my family and friends here! I'd recommend this place if you need a space to hangout at.

Their selection of craft beers is extensive--there's something for everyone, from fruity IPAs to rich stouts. I ordered their burger, and it did not disappoint! Juicy and flavorful, paired with crispy fries. The service was attentive and friendly, which added to the overall experience. One minor downside was the noise level during peak hours, but it's to be expected in a lively pub. Overall, First Street Ale House is a must-visit for anyone in the area. Great drinks, delicious food, and a vibrant atmosphere--what more could you ask for?

It saddens me to have to leave a bad review, since I frequent this place quite often... but the…read morequality of their to-go orders has gotten so bad. In-house we haven't had much issue, but I don't know what's going on with door dash/delivery orders. Almost every time, there's an issue. My littles absolutely love the mini corn dogs, and even though the listing says "with fries" they've suddenly stopped delivering with fries for the past few months ( and don't allow customer notes.) It's also a 50/50 chance the mini corn dogs will be dark and hard... I have a sensitive stomach with dietary restrictions, so I find great comfort that I can get the seared ahi tuna tacos while my husband enjoys a hamburger... but the last few orders have been so wrong. Once I was missing avocado, next I was missing the sauce, and this time my tuna was completely raw, not seared with hard jasmine rice and very tiny avocado slices. I always put input in to DoorDash, but I don't think it's getting to the restaurant... and it's reached a point where I feel like I have to leave this review and maybe find a new go to for quick family dinners. I enjoy visiting, the staff is always so kind and the kids like the back patio. Perfect vibe for a laid back dinner.. but why are the to-go orders so terrible suddenly? Absolutely heartbreaking.

Lots of tables for big parties, small parties, and tall tables at the bar. Food arrived pretty timely. Our party of 10 got our plates roughly about the same time. I ordered the 1-meat combo with 4 ribs. Decent size for a solo eater that comes with 2 sides. Garlic mashed potatoes were tasty. The side salad was good and the dressing came on the side. The ribs were on the dry side and a little burnt to my liking. Needed a steak knife to cut the meat off the bone. Otherwise, it tasted good. Burger was moist and flavorful. I'd love to come back when I'm more hungry earlier in the evening.

The staff was not very attentive during our visit, and the service could have been more consistent. The brisket nachos were the highlight and had good flavor, but the rest of the food was not especially memorable. I have had better barbecue at other restaurants and even at home, so the meal did not stand out enough to justify a return visit on its own. This seems like a better place to visit for happy hour, drinks, and a lively atmosphere than for the barbecue itself. Beyond happy hour, I probably would not make a special trip back.

I get that it was busy, so I wasn't thrilled but understanding when drinks took 30 minutes. We also ordered chips and guacamole. However, the timeline of how the rest of the visit went down was just unacceptable: * The Drink Delay: I completely finished two beers before my friends even received the club sodas they ordered. * The Forgotten Food: After 20 minutes of waiting, I asked our server to check on the guac. He said he would. Another 20 minutes passed, and a group of girls who sat down after us ordered and received all of their food. It was glaringly obvious our server forgot to ring our order in. * The "Management": When I got up to ask for a manager, she was at the bar pretending to be busy, and the server flat-out refused to go get her. When I told the server to just ask the kitchen to rush the guac since it was missed, he looked completely lost. Maybe he was just a host? When the front line staff is completely lost and the leadership is actively hiding behind the taps, it's pretty clear the ship is sinking from the top down. Thanks for the TVs, but maybe spend a little less time avoiding your job and a little more time teaching your staff how a kitchen ticket works.

I've come during the week and on the weekend. It doesn't matter which time I've come it's been GREAT! Today I came on a Sunday and they actually have a Sunday brunch where they have a live DJ they play music. They have shots going around it's fun and if you're going out with the family like I did today, you can sit in the upper area that's away from everyone else having the brunch fun. It was still fine even though we brought the kids and sat in the upper area. We could still hear the music and enjoy ourselves. I would highly recommend this place. If you want to get a Boilermaker, they can get it for you (off of HH) - friend asked what types of whiskey they had and our server pulled out a whole BOOK! Cocktails were all tasty and quite complex. We all really enjoyed them: Brat summer, Frose (they only had one slushie ready - and it was boozy!), Peach Don't Kill My Vibe, and She's Gone Green. I like that they only had low ABV cocktails and mocktails, although your choices are limited to 1 in each category if you can't have grapefruit for medical reasons. We were tempted by the food but were still full from brunch - I have a feeling that we'll be back for those Duck Fat fries!
