Never before has a dining establishment been so properly named. This place is a complete and total S**t show. I wish I could say I was trying to be funny. menu bad, food quality terrible, wait staff (other than some nice young kids who try hard, but you can tell none have ever been trained) erratic (pretty sure our server one time had been drinking) it's amazing to me honestly - how bad it is. Apparently they are connected to the owners of sauced, which is SO well run and great food. This place had a real chance to pickup a great business when the previous (and marginal) previous owner was there. Wood fired artisan pizzas, great burgers, yes some bbq. There are so many ways this place can go. 5 attempts is the limit, no more. Don't waste your money or time. read more

It's a fun idea but they are very disorganized. When you have only 30 minutes to throw axes but they don't let you check in early and the waiver process takes 10 minutes they just kick you off at the end of your time even with nobody waiting. Doesn't really make me want to come back. read more

Not worth the money - spent way too much $$ with horrible service. There seems to be tons of staff, but they were all just hanging out - it wasn't busy at all. I asked twice for someone to explain the game rules to us and no one came over. We kept having to go the bar to order drinks because no one would help us. The best part is they make you pay in advance for the activities and asked for a tip! Could be a cool place - but way overpriced and unorganized. read more

We had been wanting to try Axe throwing for a while but the activity and the place itself was extremely BORING. The place has a number of activities like shuffle board, axe throwing, foot pool, etc. but is so heavily priced. The drinks and food in general are expensive for the quality and the portion size is small. The place might work for some but definitely not our cup of tea. 2.5 stars for me! First time here. Came her with 14 people for a Birthday Celebration. The drinks were the best thing about the night. Creative and tasty. Appetizers were a 2 out of 5. We had Calamari, Chicharrons, Buffalo Wings, White bean dip. Listed in order from low to high with Calamari tasting fishy 0 and the White bean dip being good 3. Pizza was a 3, Pork Chops were fatty but had very good flavor 4, Steak Sandwich 1 over priced for what it was, tough, soggy bread, poor presentation, and just tasteless ate about four bites then left the rest. Meals came out at different times so people being polite wafting for all the meals to arrive, after five minutes I said start eating because food is getting cold. Took about 8 minutes for everyone to get their food. Service- Terrible. I worked in the industry so usually I will give some slack. I tipped 20% but just because I can't bring myself to stiffing someone. Service was slow, never came back to ask how the meal was, forgot drink orders, never refilled water. It was my birthday so of coarse they forgot (the only drink I ordered) asked a second time for the drink and they forgot to bring it again, unbelievable. When it came time to pay the bill I really don't like the idea that the servers hovers over you as you give your CC and they plug it in and wait for you to pay. First how are you supposed to check your bill, don't like not having a paper copy, don't like that you can write in what you want to tip. End of the night we spent $725 for the evening. Left feeling underwhelmed. I was really looking forward to trying Da Boccery but this was the first and most likely the last time we will be dining here. Too many nice places in Pleasanton and Livermore to settle for this type of food and service. If you are into throwing an axe, shuffle board, Bocce and drinking this place may be for you. If you want good service, food, and value you will be disappointed. read more

Made a reservation for a bocce ball game, when me and my friends checked in our waiter lead us to our table near the bar. After having food and drinks we asked the front desk if it was time for us to play our bocce ball game, and they said we used up that time meaning we couldn't play, I was then told that we were supposed to play before eating, however we were never notified about that. They allowed me to reschedule the game but instead of refunding me the $21.00 I spent on the reservation, they charged me another $52.00 for rescheduling the game. If this ever happens again I will never go back to this place again. read more

Nice place with good service. We tried the Ax throwing and had fun, but the axes are in bad shape as well as the targets. Management should go over to limitless ax and ales and look at their axes and maintenance of the targets. Good equipment makes the experience so much more fun read more

Brought family here for a great time, ruined at at instant by their unprofessional staff. Had reservations for table for 9 at 7:30PM and then foot pool from 8:15-9:30. At approximately 9:48 the guy in charge of games came and said we have been there for 3 1/2 hours, servers kept coming to clean our table, they wanted us to leave. Felt like they were kicking us out and the behavior towards us was negative soon as we paid for our drinks and food, even tho we had paid for the game we reserved and had plenty of time left, very disappointed and with the lack of professionalism and lack of friendliness by their staff. I love this place, and used to love coming here for pinball. But the best two, Avengers and Deadpool, are both broken in a way that the player can't start any game modes. Please fix them, so I can return your fifth star! read more

The place is nice, all renewed, also the staff is super nice, so why only two stars? Because this place is terribly expensive and definitely deserve only one star! The food was not good for that price, I ordered a sandwich with pastrami that has nothing to share with pastrami, the meat was raw and greasy, the size of the sandwich was like a stamp and all for 21 dollar before taxes! Same for the fish and chips, 23 dollars for three pieces of fish and an handful of fries definitely cold and dry! The worst part of the night was the prices for the activity that were insane! We ordered a number of dishes and no one said anything good about their food. Service is ok but not knowledgeable. Asked if the sloppy joe fries was spicy and was told no. It's spicy. We went to the soft opening and we were super excited to have this place open. Never really had a good experience at the old Campo restaurant. Food was amazing and we've been back several times, but the last time we went I swear the prices increased by 30%. It was just 2 of us and I had one beer but wow it was expensive. Especially for Livermore. I don't think they have a sandwich on the menu for less that $19. Appetizers are super pricey too, beer was $8 or $9 I think. I get we have massive inflation right now but I don't think I'll be going back unless prices come back down. Too bad because it's so close and convenient. read more

We reserved a table on open table but it turns out that is for dining only. We showed up as a group of 11 and the manager said we have dining only, and cannot play bocce until 2 hours after our dinner reservation. We left. If you plan to play any games make sure you call first. We will never support this business, it is not the same we campo di bocce. read more

I am so torn leaving this review. We absolutely love Sauced and Plucked, which have awesome food for what they serve. So our expectations were high, as we didn't much care for Campo Di Bocce food. Sadly, we were all let down by the food and service. Two fish and chips, nacho fries and a chicken parm sandwich that were nothing special. The activities and bar rock. Yummy drinks and good wines. This is the second time we've ordered food from here where part of our order is missing. Two sides of French fries with our meals to be exact. I think the kitchen packing the food needs to double check the orders. I don't think we will be ordering from here anymore. Very disappointing when you get home and you don't have your whole order. Wow... I don't even know where to start with this place! The service was excellent! We came in during a busy time for their weekend brunch and had a large party of about 10 people. Our server, Jazmin A. was so patient with our young kids when we were ordering and she was very accommodating with all of our requests despite being busy which we've found is hard to come by when we dine out these days and was greatly appreciated. Now for the food... the Avocado Toast was a hit!! They add a hot honey to it that really brings it together in my opinion and my husband ordered the Biscuits with Gravy and loved it! All around a pleasant experience and very kid friendly! I almost forgot to mention they have an arcade which the kids loved as well as FREE cornhole! And now that BWW is closed, this is a great place to come watch football as they have several TVs everywhere you look, even outside! Will definitely be coming back, perhaps without the kids next time so we can check out their bar! ;) read more

We visited Da Boccery for lunch - this was my second time. The venue is in a picturesque setting and the place is very quiet. It is more of a place for family gatherings. The menu is limited, but the quality is good. Portions are adequate. The beer menu is impressive. Service is great and courteous. The ambience is very simple - more of a backyard setting with iron chairs and stone tables. The pricing is on the higher side. I would like to see more luxury in the seating for the prices they charge. read more

This place is cool to get together with friends. They have a variety of activities to do. They have food. They have alcohol. They have TVs. The food was good, the drinks were good, our waiter was good. We had a party of 12 and service time was not bad. In fact, it was pretty organized. The axe throwing is cool if you just want to throw an axe over and over, but I'd go to a real axe throwing place to do that activity bc those places have games and objectives you can choose and keep score. It's cool that you can watch people play different games all over. It's a pretty open space. read more

Service was excellent! We went for my son's 19th birthday. He did axe throwing, Matthew was the coach and he was awesome, giving my son tricks on how to throw. Joey was our server and he was attentive and just awesome. Cory was the manager on duty and he was hilarious. Would recommend this place for a great, relaxing time. read more

This place is wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly, we did bocce ball, and ax throwing and had amazing appetizers and lunch I had a large party of 13 and they took care of us all. The guys who was teaching us how to ax throw was very friendly and helpful. The manager or possibly the owner was amazing he checked on all the guests to see how they were doing. BTW pro tip. Don't wear crocs shoes when throwing ax, bring some shoes not sandals, luckily they have shoes for you if you do not come prepared. Anyways, I highly recommend this place. Beautiful place. read more

Best night out as a family in a long time. Bocce courts were great, nice to have an intro on how to play. Turns out we had been playing wrong all along! Cocktails were awesome (had the hippie juice and hot mop) and food was delicious (especially the pretzel and nachos). Also awesome to see Wood family wine on the menu, our new favourite Livermore winery. Our server was attentive and friendly, and really everyone on the staff seemed keen to make it a great experience. So impressed to see such a great execution so soon after opening. I love the idea of this place, but feel the prices are a bit high especially for cocktails. The food was good, but a little too over spiced for our taste and felt it may have masked the other flavors of our dish. We had the shrimp and grits and although the shrimp tasted and seemed freshly cooked, the grits were not very warm and we wondered if they were just warmed up in the microwave instead of cooked fresh. The tart dessert was really yummy and service was spot on!! Five stars for service and 3 for food and taste. read more

We came here with a large party and we were disappointed with Da Boccery. The most concerning issue with this establishment is that two members of our party got food poisoning and felt very sick. There was also a dead mouse on the bocce court, so overall, the atmosphere did not feel very clean or hygienic. The service was not good. The staff members did not pay attention to us. Though they were nice when they did pay attention to us, very little attention was paid overall. This place felt like a gross chuckie cheese. Would definitely not recommend. read more

It was a very good Resturant with great Italian food, such as seafood pasta and pizza. However it is no longer the same, I ordered two dishes today for pick up. The shrimp & grits is ok but fish tacos are not fresh that disappoints me so much. read more

We went here to celebrate a friend's birthday and it wasn't good. The only reason why I gave this place 2 stars is because the food was alright and because of Dylan, the employee who hosted our party at the axe throwing cages. He was very nice and should be promoted so other employees can follow his example on how to provide excellent customer service. As for the rest of our experience there, we were highly disappointed with Da Boccery because the staff didn't bother to help or serve us for well over 30 minutes although we had reservations. The staff kept passing by our party table and glanced at us, but never came by to serve us. I don't know, maybe because we were a party of minorities and we also had a disabled person in a wheel chair in our party I'm assuming? Because another party of non-minorities arrived and were seated at the tables right next to ours and they were served almost right away. We had to flag their waitress down and asked her why they were being served first when we've been waiting there for well over 30 minutes (and yes we had reservations too) and during that entire time not once did anyone come to check on us. We felt so discriminated against that we will never go back to this establishment again. As someone who has served in the military, I do not tolerate or support racism...therefore, Da Boccery, I will never visit your establishment again and I will be sure to spread the word to every one I know to steer clear of this place to avoid being discriminated against. Friday we decided to stop here on the way home from Stockton. The last time we had stopped was pre pandemic when it was Campo di Bocci. We had not realized it had changed until we got to restaurant. Of course every thing had changed. We weren't impressed with the menu but still willing to try. I ordered the Fish and Chips. Came out rather quickly. There was an odd taste to it, and I couldn't even finish it, only ate one of the fish. The chips were better, but was still not impressed. About 15 to 20 minutes after leaving the restaurant my stomach began gurgling and within and hour I was throwing up and had bowel problems.. Also there was a weird film on my tongue from the potatoes and took several scrubbing with my toothbrush to remove. Worse case of food poisoning ever. Will not be going back. read more

We loved the axe throwing. My husband and I went and paid for the hour. We got lucky and no one else was axe throwing at the time that we were so we had both lanes side by side. The instructor was friendly and engaged in the whole thing. My husband had a huge grin on his face the whole time. They can also change the images of the target you are hitting. We didn't eat there because we got breakfast beforehand. We were there from 11:40am-12:40 pm on a Friday. read more
