Why can't I book bocce online more than a week out? I can book a reservation for the restaurant more than a week out. This messed up my plans as I had a party of 12 for lunch and we wanted to do some bocce afterwards for 11/6/2021. When I went to book there were no courts free for lunch at the time I was looking, inside or out. Called to find out a large party of 40 had reserved all the courts. No other weekend has had this issue leading up to this date as I had been checking for a month. Would be good info to know so I could have planned for another date/time. Lunch is cancelled and I'll never try to plan anything here again. Campo Di Bocce has done a better job in the past. read more

What a cool concept! My friend made reservations a week in advance for Saturday night axe throwing @645. We got there early and were able to sit at the bar, no wait. They have a variety of cocktails and beer on tap. The reservation get you a lane at the axe throwing cages, there are 2 lanes. There are tables and benches to sit an eat right outside the cage. We were able to orde food and drinks from our sever Tate, while we did the axe throwing. They have an axe coach inside to assist and help you get the hang of it. We had 2 awesome coaches 1st Christian and then Harrison! They were knowledgeable and super friendly. Once our time was up we were able to move to another table and finish eating. They have cornhole that is available to play, so we stayed had a few more drinks and played corn hole for the rest of the night. We had an awesome sever, Kevin, the rest of the night. Ernesto was our waiter and he was awesome. The food was really good. I had the beat salad, my husband had the short ribs, daughters had sliders and The Flipping Bird. We really liked them all. I have to admit that I loved Campo Di Bacci and was sad to see it close. That being said, I hope this place thrives. They are working hard and it shows. Communication is key. I am aware situations do happen. Waiting additional 5 minutes... now it's 25 min from the initial order... and still waiting ... did you even check on our order? NOPE. My daughter friend was already done with her pasta... ? To avoid an upset customer, it's very important to keep your customer apprised of their order. This avoids the eyes following you from end to end of a restaurant watching your every move along with the frustration building as we are wishing upon a start "where our food went, did she even follow up?" 34 minutes are up. Visited for the first time on a Sunday with 5 of my buddies. It's basically a sports bar with games (be sure to make game reservations in advance). We played shuffleboard, foot pool, and bocce. The foot pool was a disappointment, honestly; the soccer balls are too light. The food seemed to be standard bar fare, so I tried a salad, the Peloton. It was good, but it was too small for $14. Where do I start?? This place is beautiful, when you walk through the doors you immediately feel the fun wash over you. The colors are very welcoming and the flow of activities draws your eyes everywhere. The food was delicious, we had the SHRIMP and GRITS which was spicy and rich with flavor. The FLIPPIN BIRD was a rustic treat, the smoked turkey was moist and the apples were thinly sliced which perfectly complimented the Brie. The FISH and CHIPS were what a fish and chips should be... the batter was light and crispy and the cod was delicious. Loved the Cajun tartar sauce that came with it. And the fries... simple perfection. So good I am excited to come back for these items and to try the rest of the menu. Salina and her team has done a spectacular job. Liked the Axe idea. The seating was rough. The chairs were just not comfortable. I believe this place will continue to improve. If it does, it can be something outstanding. This review is for two visits (with another on the way tomorrow evening during prime dinner hour). The vibe here is awesome! This place has created a neighborhood hang out experience that is energetic and lively. The soft opening just happened so let's give them some weeks to get up and running smoothly. There are many high school students who work here and they're learning too. :) Food is amazing! Did not have cocktails yet. Desk staff and host staff were organized, friendly and kind. Very attentive to folks walking in and phones. Table staff was friendly and checked in frequently during my lunch. Been here many times in the past year and it's decent food when you can get service. Maybe it's because I never go with a large crowd and that's what they really cater to? Usually takes 5-10 minutes or so before a server will check on you the first time. That's if you're lucky. Last time I went (2/25/23), they seated my family and I and never came to the table -- this was even after we went back to the front to make sure they didn't forget about us. It was around 1pm on a Saturday and they were not busy at all. We waited another 8 minutes or so and then left. As we were leaving the hostess thanked us for dining with them... ugh. Twice visited. Very new place and we wanted to tryout the axe throwing - beginning with reservations check in the place looks are great. The desk layout not the best location since the greeter had a line and it was blocking the doors. Seem like the system check in could be a bit more organized and management needs to stand back to perhaps make this change. Food costs are a bit high. Nachos looked good as we noticed coming in and so we ordered. First they where good but then notice the bottom was a little too wet. Still in comparison Sauced has the better version even knowing they are different. Service for drinks and food not attended too efficiently near the axe throwing outdoor cages. When flagging down a server it was the only way to get help. The person was very nice though. Activity - Axe throwing was great! Service and customer service is the only plus plus. I had to make a Yelp account so I could write about how much of a wonderful time we had tonight. We came in to celebrate my birthday on 9/9/2024, and overall, it was a 5/5 for the two of us. We noticed a really bad review from a couple days ago, and it made us hesitate to go, but I'm glad we jumped in the car and just went for it! Came in to watch the Monday night football game to start my b-day and see the 49ers play, but unfortunately, due to some contract dispute between DirecTv and Disney (I think, can't remember what the nice guy at the host stand said), they couldn't show the game since it was only showing on Disney owned channels. That really took the wind out of my sails and seemed to indicate how this night might go, but we both decided to stay and try the place since we already made the drive out. The inside of the restaurant definitely gives off a high-end Dave and Busters vibe, but at the same time its own vibe comes out. it was pretty quiet in there, but it's a Monday night, so we were glad it was nice and quiet. Our servers were also the bartenders, which I thought was crazy for how large this restaurant is, and I thought this would really hurt our service, but they really made it work! Jasmina and Chris took care of us and rocked it! A man in a polo came around at somewhat random times to check on us (assuming it was the manager by the shirt), and he was very polite. I ordered the turkey club with sweet potato fries, and it was easily a 5/5 for me! The sourdough was amazing and toasted to perfection and the smoked turkey was perfect! My husband got the Have A Cow with fries and he gave it a 4/5, his burger was undercooked for a medium (almost rare). We didn't want to wait for it to be remade so we kept it and still ate the whole thing, not terrible for the wrong temp. After we ate, I was given a cute little brownie sundae from the server, and it was very yummy! We didn't try any of the special cocktails this time, so that will have to be for next time. once we finished, we made our way to the arcade that's in the bar area (definitely, would not want to sit in the cocktail area when it's crazy busy here, having the arcade in the same area seems like a poor design idea to me, but that's me) and it feels like the prices to play the game are kinda high. for some games it's about 6 to 8 credits ($1/$1.50) and as high as 24 credits. We played a round of air hockey and a little pinball, and I had a blast. I would have to agree with other reviews and say the pricing on the games are high. overall, we had a great time. There didn't appear to be a lot of staff in this large building, but they made it work and everyone around us looked happy. We had our company holiday party last night and wow we were so impressed with everything! Our server, Trisha, was amazing! Drinks arrived perfectly timed before the current one was finished. I really don't know how she did it we had 27 people. The food was delicious every single thing! We had the Wolf Pack (see photo) & added Bavarian pretzels, every sandwich, appetizer & dessert was outstanding . Our employees couldn't believe how much food it was and the flavor. There was tons of space and tables. We had the shuffle board & footpool area, plus there was cornhole (my favorite). Everyone had an excellent time! I came last night with my daughter, son-in-law and her three kids. The concept is great. It is very kid friendly and casual. The food was pretty good. I would have enjoyed it, but the service was poor. The server brought me the wrong wine. I kept it because he seemed flustered. My daughter ordered a Caesar salad with steak. It came out without steak. The server wasn't around. She let him know when he was, and he said he'd have the kitchen prepare it and he'd bring it out. That took a half hour. We paid the check and were on our way out when it arrived. We had it boxed to go. Given that it wasn't a busy night, I'm not sure where the issues were. The server's section was spread out and that may have created issues. Better planning might help. read more

Came here a couple of weeks ago to celebrate my dads birthday. Our waitress was terrible. Took forever to get our drinks, appetizers and she had major attitude. She actually kept forgetting our drinks. (not getting into details). I went and spoke with the owner who was very apologetic and took care of the situation immediately. She gave us a new waitress and also helped. We were late for our bocce ball reservations. She accommodated us once again. To preface this review, I came to this restaurant when it was still Campo di Bocce and it was amazing (nice staff, great food, etc.) Unfortunately, today I came to check out Da Boccery in hopes of finding a restaurant where I could host a special dinner. My experience was probably one of the worst customer service interactions I've had in my life. I don't think I've engaged with anyone as RUDE as the woman who I spoke to. Here's the rundown: I was in town and I arrive at Da Boccery before they opened. I knew it was still early but I just wanted to take a peek of what it looked inside, knowing that management had switched. There's a woman inside who looks at me and I open the door to hear what she's saying. I ask her what the restaurant's hours are and she points at the hours on the window. No "Hi, how are you doing?" No smile. Nada. Just a whole lot of attitude. Mind you this woman is giving me a "get the f out of here, you're wasting my time" look, staring me down. Now when I tell her that I'm looking to hold a special event here, she switches up. She begins to be a whole lot accommodating, giving me the card of who I can contact. It's a shame that she couldn't have the decency to be nice to whoever walks into the door. BIG MISTAKE. BIG. HUGE! Needless to say, we WILL NOT be having our event here. Booked a team bonding event here that included food and bocce for all of us. I paid for the most expensive food package ($50/person) and it was really disappointing. The saddest dish was the dry and tough pork. Food is not worth the money. Service was good until they kicked us out before our time was up because they said they had to prepare for the next group. In the future they should leave enough time between parties so they don't have to kick out parties early. I would recommend not booking a group event because the food is overpriced and bad and they have your credit card saved and they'll charge you without asking after the event. read more
